If you care about the cleanliness during your stay, this is not the place. There were visible molds in kitchen and bathrooms. I am not sure whether beddings are washed in between guests. The floor was dirty, and the towels had molds too. If you can pass that, this is a doable stay. When we got there, dirty dishes from the previous guests were still there. Bathroom amenities were missing, but the host assisted right away. The host is kind.

Fantastic pension

The room and facilities were very nice. The pool was a pleasure. The owners were quite attentive and personable (they even picked us up from the bus terminal!). The location is surrounded by rice fields, and it is a little far from attractions.l, but that is actually what I wanted -- so, if you have your own transportation, or if you are looking for a quietish getaway, you will have a great experience.

Awesome!!!

Awesome!! It can not be better than this place and hosts. We enjoyed a lot. Full marks to Mr. and Ms. Park (host/owner of this pension) for their nature, service and hospitality.
They took us to many near by places in their own car and we felt like we have our own personal guide who is more curious to show us more places than we want. Thanks a lot Mr. and Ms. Park.
We were afraid to go few places like east sea due to far from hotel and korean language issue But you gave us ride in your car and with yo, we traveled easily with comfort.
Thanks again, I am recommending this pension. \"You will feel like home!!\"

Home away from home with excellent service!

Gyeongju hospitality at its best! Mr & Mrs Park went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They were also able to recommend places to visit and eat with clear instructions on how to get there in English. Mrs Park also gave us a ride out to the bus stop each morning and fetched us back when we returned. Given our large luggages, we were very thankful that she picked us up from the bus terminal when we first arrived in Gyeongju and upon our departure, Mr Park drove us to the bus station.

Comfortable bed and breakfast

Very welcoming and personable. Room was spacious with kitchen amenities.
Breakfast was brought to the room in the morning. There was an outdoor swimming pool that was empty.
Perhaps we were there too early in the season, in May. We wanted to be near the various sights in the
area.

Such lovely people run this place! You never know what little surprises they might give you! (Like a bowl of watermelon, a trip up the mountain, etc.) I had a great stay, no problems with my room. The atmosphere was an interesting one, as all throughout the day there was always (relaxing) music playing outdoors. I enjoyed the outdoor deck with a picnic table; it was much bigger than I was expecting. My only disappointment was that there was no morning sunlight streaming into my room (White Room). The bathroom did have a nice little window, though, that let in sun and the music from outside. All in all, it was a lovely stay.

Korean styled pension with facilities that you will expect from renting a holiday Chalet. It is located within a pension village and you can expect crowds of families on holiday during summer. We were there during early spring, so not so crowded.

1st 2 weeks of April is Cherry Blossom season. Expect crowds as the entire Gyeongju city region and major attractions locations are lined with Cherry trees.

Owners were kind and caring; when my wife had an upset stomach, she made us plum green tea (twice) which tasted great and seems to help in her recovery.

Many restaurants and a 7-11 by the main road which is about 10mins walk or a free ride from the owner if they are around. Location is away from main town and will need a bus ride to get to town or attractions.

Owner is a great cook.She has a menu that you can choose from with different prices, do try and get a chance to taste great home cooked Korean food.

Nice Pension in a holiday park about 7km from city

Very warm host and nice pension. Beautiful decoration and comfortable accommodation. Nice eateries near the bus stop. 15 min walking distance from pension to nearest bus station. Mr and Mrs Park has offer reasonable transport fee and kindness for pick up from city or sent to train/bus terminal. Free pick up from train station to pension.

Pension in quiet neighbourhood; helpful owners

We stayed for 6 nights. The pension is in an area with a group of similar pensions. It is not in the main tourist area and is about a 15 minute walk to the food village and bus stop. The owners are very attentive and offer to take you to the bus stop or tourist attractions in close proximity. However taxis are cheap and we got to know a local taxi driver who also turned out to be a good guide.

Reviews should not just be based on the friendliness of the owners. They are very helpful, but this should not be a reason to overlook the major issues related to this 'hotel?' and location.
To start the rooms are very uniquely decorated, but are not very functional or clean. For example they have massive tvs, but you can not see the tv from the bed due to hanging decor and small sofa pointing in wrong direction. There is also a lot of wasted space that can be used better. The room was not clean, stains on the sheets, weird stains and marks in the bathroom and kitchen area. Dirt in the kitchen cupboards. The bathroom is a full wet room which cause water to flow everywhere including around the toilet. The bed is very tough like sleeping on a floor, not a comfortable sleep for the challenging day ahead.
The location is in the middle of nowhere, even our taxi driver laughed when we gave him the directions from the KTX station. Its a 15 minute walk to the main road to catch the relevant buses, but you have no bus timetable, so be careful not to miss the late bus. The area in general is remote and difficult to navigate. Its difficult to stay in this area if you don't have a car, its not really enjoyable by foot to get around to the sights.
The local restaurants are all traditional Korean not much variety.
We decided to make a break and leave early in the morning for the next KTX.
We also did not get the room we booked.

Lovely Pension

Bellus Rose was the perfect fit for our family stay. The owners were very attentive and so very nice. We were personally greeted by the owners and shown to our room. She took the time to go over the tourist map and give us driving time to major attractions. The room was very clean and spacious with a balcony. The room had various amenities such as a large flat screen tv, private bath, fridge, kitchen sink, stove and kitchen utensils. We are a family of five and we had plenty of room for our kiddos' cots. I do believe that you can request roll away beds, but we brought our own. The pension also has an outdoor pool area. It was in the back garden area, very clean/relaxing. Our kids loved it! Breakfast can be purchased for an additional charge. It was delivered to our room and was yummy! It was a great stay and we highly recommend Bellus Rose!

Quiet Oasis

Bellus Rose was a lovely peaceful place whose greatest asset is the landlady Mrs Park. The rooms which were cheerful and comfortable, look out onto a pleasant garden with a swimming pool that was wonderful in the hot weather we experienced. It is situated in the Pension Village in the area known as Buk gun Dong. Although out of the main area of the city it is well serviced by the No.700,10 and 11 buses. The Bellus Rose is about a 12 minute walk from the bus stop but Mrs Park will drop you off and pick you up if you want her to. In the same area is a food village with a wide variety of places to eat. Mrs Park speaks English and will help you plan your day, make bookings for you and lend you a bicycle to explore the area on. We spent four most enjoyable days here and highly recommend it.

Ms. Park went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay (provided maps and valuable information about the area. We enjoyed our stay and will definitively return if we are in the area.

Not a convenient motel for short stay

The hotel is very far from civilization. if you own your own transport it would perhaps be better. For the amount paid it was really not worth it when you can get a downtown hotel with full amenities. The room looked pretty enough like the advert but I am very sure the sheets and bedding used were not freshly laundered. It feels it has been used before.. For a room with kitchenette facility the least they could do was provide free tea and coffee as the place was too far from convenient stores even if I don't mind paying for it myself. Overall disappointing except the place was nicely country and you get to enjoy the fresh air in the morning.

We went there in winter and it was rather cold so they offered to drive us to the bus stop and back to the pension when we return. They also gave us information about the attractions in Gyeongju. Okay location, great for everything else

Rooms are big and clean with kitchenettes, the owner is very friendly/helpful, and the western breakfast is actually decent (a rarity in Korea). The owner will also pick you up from the bus station and drop you off at the bus stop when leaving, which is the only reason why the location is okay. It's a solid 15 minute walk (probably more with luggage) to the bus stop, and the buses in in Gyeongju don't run frequently. That being said, once you're there, it's a good base for exploring the Bomun lake area. They have bikes (old but useable) available for free so you can bike around the lake.

best service experience I have had, Ms Park is so lovely and really goes the extra mile. One night my wife and I was asking back to the hotel from dinner and Ms Park drove past and then stopped and pick us up. The rooms are very nice and cute, it is a very peaceful and beautiful location. the breakfast for KRW10,000 is very good. We would stay there again.

Fabulous location - just book it

We so much enjoyed our two night stay at Bellus Rose recently (Aug 28-29). Mr and Mrs Parks were good hosts. As the other reviewers stated, they were lovely people who gave us all the important information on how to get around. The pension is very clean. We borrowed their free bikes for a ride around the lake when we arrived and walked to the local Korean restaurants. Be sure to purchase breakfast, as the only other coffee shop around is down towards the main road. Their pension is surrounded by other pensions, which had lots of other guests, but was still a quiet location. Loved being so close to the lake and buses. We were so happy to be in a pension, and not in one of the large hotels. Gyeongju has many things to see and do. We only briefly saw a few sites before heading back to Seoul. Just book it!

Cosy pension with nice service

We spent 2 nights at Bellus Rose in early July and it was a very nice experience. Our 7 years old daughter loved it and enjoyed the swim in the garden pool and our big breakfast in the balcony. The room was clean and cosy, big enough for two adults and a child. The owners were very nice and ready to help at every chance.

Friendly, pension in Gyeongju, Korea

We were picked up at the train station by the owner and as we had not had dinner, she took us to a restaurant and had them call when we were done. We were taken to her house, which was very pleasant. Our breakfasts each morning were more than satisfactory. The location was a 15 minute walk to the bus to take us to town, although the owner drove us to the bus stop and back to the train station when we were ready to leave. We would recommend this pension for a Korean experience; better than a standard hotel.

Good location and awesome service for the price

The hotel was good, the room was big and with a kitchen. The bed a quite firm as others have stated. A taxi is probably the best way to get to the hotel from the train or express bus station as it is a little bit hidden. Make sure you have the telephone number for the taxi driver to call since it is hard to find.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived very late but she still gave us an orientation about the area and how to get around. She even brought us a schedule of the KTX trains that we were going to take the next day. It was raining the next day and she lent us an umbrella to use.

This hotel had the best service I've ever encountered at a hotel of any price.

Thank you again for the hospitality.

The manager rents 7 rooms in her lovely home. Ours was decorated in a typical American country style with a small kitchenette and bathroom with Western toilet and Korean shower. Breakfast American style can be delivered to your room; a bit expensive for what you get. This pension is very far from town and the rail and bus stations. There is a bus stop a 10-15 minute walk from the house, but no sidewalks and ditches on the side of tje road so watch your kids and your roll aboard suitcases. Mrs. Park often offers to drive you to or pick you up at the bus stop. She speaks some English and goes all out to try to help you have a great time. The important sights are very spread out. We recommend taking the city tour. Even though most of it is in Korean, there is enough information given in English and the transport from site to sure is efficient. You can see all the important historical sights in one day and will feel that you got your money's worth. Mrs. Park will set it up for you.

My husband and I enjoyed everything about the Bellus Rose Guest House. Mr and Mrs Park could not have been more welcoming and our little apartment was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was all that a beakfast should be. Although we didn't have a car, it was only a 10 minute walk to the bus stop and the bus service in Gyeong'ju is wonderful - it is very easy to get around..

Mrs Park made us feel most welcome. She picked us up from the station which was a great help as I would imagine it would be difficult to find. We would recommend both breakfast and barbecues - great value. Rooms large and comfortable with kitchenettes. 10 minute walk from the bus stop, where there are a few restaurants and a 7 11. We did struggle a bit with the buses, mainly when we were getting a second bus from town. I would recommend a stay at Bellus Rose.

quiet hotel with good connections to everywhere

I enjoyed staying at the Bellus Rose Pension. The location is rural, generally quiet except for the roosters, and surrounded by rice fields and a few other small hotels. It is a 15-minute walk to the main road, where there are several Korean restaurants and a 7-11 store. From the road, buses took me everywhere quickly.

One day, the owner offered me a bicycle to go to Gyeongju. It was probably a 30 minute bike ride (I am not accustomed to biking), very pleasant on a bike path along a river. It is a great way to visit the sights in Gyeongju, especially if you have a good map.

The owner speaks some English, and was extremely helpful. She picked me up at the train station, asked me what I had done each day and offered me suggestions of what to do, and as I said, encouraged me to take the bicycle once she learned of my plans.

The hotel has both wired and wireless Internet. I only used the wired, and was very happy with how fast I could save my full-sized pictures online.

Bellus Rose Pension near Gyeongju

Stayed over New Year - had a really warm welcome with lots of helpful advice about what to visit and how to get around. Very quirky hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is just outside Gyeongju so need to catch a bus (or taxi) to get around. They are regular buses so it's not much of a problem.

The pension in Geoungju

the pension was located in a lively residential neighborhood with other pensions. the rooms were spacious and clean. But, beware, the beds were very hard. Koreans are used to sleeping on the floor. So, hence, hard beds.
The best part about our 4 night stay was the owner. She was very helpful, and loaned us umbrellas and my husband a rain jacket. She drove us to the bus stop so we would not miss our tour bus. She spoke good enough English and was a true delight. The breakfast was satisfactory.

Perfect!!

I booked this very last minute as the only hotel with a vacancy and it was absolutely perfect for me! On holiday from Hong Kong, it was lovely to be somewhere peaceful and out of town - the bus stop was a 5 or 10 minute walk (with stunning scenery - like everywhere in Gyeongju!) and you could then get into town in 10 minutes or walk to the Bomun Lake in 10. The hotel owners were really kind and often gave me lifts to and from the bus stop. They were extremely helpful and told me how to get around and what was good to see and do. Finally, the room was gorgeous and had everything you could want (kitchenette, hairdryer, towels, balcony - the works). Loved it!

사장님 부부가 너무 친절하셨고 정류장까지 직접 태워다 주시고 오실때 맞춰서 방도 데워주시고 너무 좋았어요! 저흰 4명인데 2명만 예약해서 현장에서 하루당+3만원 추가 지불했어요 참고하셔요! 이불도 더 주셨고 숙소도 깨끗했어요! 수건도 주시고 유튜브도 보면서 너무 편하게 쉬고 갔어요! +숙소 근처 조돌칼국수 있는데 웨이팅 50분 기다리고 먹었는데 정말 맛있어서 또 먹고 싶어지네여 ㅠㅠ 이 리뷰 본 사람들 꼭 먹어보시길!

방에서 쾌쾌한 냄새가 납니다... 심지어 천정에 거미줄도 있구요....호텔보다 게스트하우스 같은 느낌이네요..... 식기도 좀 오래되 보이고 깨끗해 보이지 않아 마트에서 일회용품 사와서 썼어요..... 여행을 많이 다녀봤지만... 정말 최악의 숙박시설 이었던거같아요....

Helt fantastisk service og et skønt ophold

Fantastisk ophold hos Mrs. Park
Vi var 2 voksne og 2 børn (6,9 år) som boede på hotellet i 3 nætter.
Mrs. Park var helt enestående. Helt utrolig sød og hjælpsom. Vi blev hentet på busstationer da vi ankom, desuden hentet og bragt til diverse attraktioner i byen. Vi blev også afleveret på KTX stationen (tog) da opholdt var forbi.
Vi havde så dårlig samvittighed over at Mrs. Park ikke ville modtage betaling for alle ydelserne.
Hotellet er lille og hyggeligt, med en pool som børnene nød og en lille have. Vi havde 2 værelser til vores familie.
Kan helt klart anbefales.

개별난방이 아니며 따뜻한 물이 나오려면 5분 정도 물을 틀어야함. 집은 10년 정도 되보이는데 인테리어가 지저분해서 먼지가 많이 날림. 이불 및 침대가 오래되어 쓰기가 찝찝했음.

전체적으로 청결성에 문제가 있습니다. 각종 주방 용품등도 불결해 보였습니다. 들어 가자 마자 냄새가 나서 베란다 문을 한참 열어 놓았습니다. 주인 아주머니는 친절 하신것 같았으나 전체적으로 펜션이라기 보다 게스트하우스나 민박 정도로 생각하시면 될것 같습니다. 재방문은 할 의사 전혀 없습니다.

기대에 못미침

팬션 주인은 좋은 친절하게 해주셨으나 팬션이 지어지진 좀 된 것 같고 방안에 청소도 미흡했다 곳곳에 먼지가 보였다. 먼지 알레르기가 있어 힘들었다. 작은 카페트 같은게 있었는데 산지 오래되었는지 더러워보였다. 샤워기 고정하는 부분이 망가져 있었고 테이프를 붙여놓았다.

因为塞車，司机忘记叫我们落車，過了幾个站，就因为塞原本15分鐘車程，男主人找我们及塞車用了一小時才找到我們。
今次係第二次入住，难忘他们的花花小屋所以选择再次入住，多谢屋主夫婦热情招呼，此處是看普門湖樱花的好住處。
走時因下雨，屋主太太主動載我们到汽车總站。

一家三口初次在慶州自駕遊。
選擇這民宿住了兩晚。
店主樸先生及樸女士，
很友善。
雖然他們的英語能力有限，
但也盡力協助我們享受這裡的寧靜。
週末及假期會比較吵，
週日則很寧靜舒適。
在居住的第二晚，
店主代購了燒烤晚餐，
兩大一小為6萬won。
大約有1公斤上好五花肉，豬排及沙拉，
孩子有豬肉腸五條及薯仔雞蛋沙拉。
我強烈建議選擇韓式方間，
因為晚上可以坐在花園看星星，
真的很美。
而且民宿有一個私人游泳池，
只供住客享用。
在夏天入住，
游泳池就在韓式房間花園外，
很方便。

경주 문화권 답사

오랜만의 가족여행지를 경주로 선택해서 숙소를 찾던중 선택한 벨루스 로즈 펜션...,
여행 당일에 비가 너무 많이 오는 바람에 펜션주위 산책을 못한것이 아쉽기도 하지만 친절하신 두 분 덕분에 아쉬움은 다음 방문때 확인하기로 했습니다.
일정이 너무 짧아서 경주시내에 산재되어 있는 문화재들을 제대로 둘러보질 못해서 조만간 다시 방문해야 할 듯 합니다.

깔끔하고 아늑한 펜션

보문호수 근처에 펜션 촌에 있는 예쁜 펜션.
묵었던 날이 11월 중순이라 사장님께서 미리 난방 켜놓으셔서 9시경 첨성대, 안압지 야경 보고 숙소에 들어오니 훈훈하게 따뜻해서 좋았어요
스타벅스 보문호수DT점이 가깝고 오래 묵었다면 아침에 보문호수 산책도 좋을 거리.
1박2일 아쉬운 여행에 좋은 숙소 만나서 좋았어요
다음애 경주 간다면 또 가고싶은 숙소에요
겨울이라 수영장은 안하는데 수영장과 바로 이어지는 방에서 묵었네요.
사장님 두 분 부부이신거 같은데 깔끔하고 친절하게 해주셔서 넘 좋았습니다 번창하시길 바라요

2층이었는데.. 방도 밝고 깔끔해서 좋았는데.. 침대가 너무 삐걱거려서................. 아............................

보문 관광단지에서 가가운 펜션

펜션 주변이 모두 펜션이라서 많은 관광객들이 있는 곳이 었어요.

주변 관광지를 10분 정도의 거리에 있어서 거리는 멀지 않지만

자동차가 있어야 이용할 수 있겠어요. 숙소의 장점은 테라스가 넓고, 감나무가 크게 자라서 운치가 있으며, 여름에는 수영장도 이용할 수 있어요.

사장님 두 분 모두 친절하시고, 짐도 들어서 옮겨 주시고 좋았어요.

단지 화장대나 전기레인지 근처에 놓인 장식품 등에 먼지가 좀 쌓인 부분은 신경 써서 닦아주시면 더 좋을 것 같아요.

가족같은 따뜻한 호텔

가족같이 정보 공유, 추천해주는 따뜻한 호텔이었습니다. 저녁때 바베큐도 너무 맛있었습니다. 아침도 준비해주시고 정원도 보여주셔서 경주의 따뜻한 마음 간직하며 즐겁게 여행했습니다.

Had the best time at Bellus Rose!

I was travelling about three weeks in Korea and stayed at different accommodations - among all of them, Bellus Rose was the best. I felt very welcomed and the room was nice and cozy. The service was outstanding! The woman who owns the hotel explained me everything and organised a tour for me. She was incredibly lovely! She always cared for the wellbeing of her guests. I can recommend you to stay at her wonderful pension. :)
