Clean and Value for Money

We booked 2 nights but room was not ready (some areas of the bathroom was faulty at the last minute) hence we were being transferred to another hotel for 1 night. Service provided by the staffs is very good. However, the hotel that we were being transferred to is not very ideal. Hopefully if such things happen again, they will transfer the guest to a hotel of similar standards instead of similar price. Overall, Hoang Sa is a nice, clean hotel and is value for money as breakfast is also included in the price when we booked.

Really young staff and exceptionally good at their jobs. Go beyond to help in any way they can. Almost all things can be booked at reception. Can not speak highly enough about all the staff. Made it the best hotel stay I have had in any country.

Personal Experience with this hotel

Staff are friendly and helpful but within their limit due to communication problem.
Breakfast served cold as there is no heating provided.
Very noisy during my stay, many china tourist as they made a lot of noises during morning and night as they keep slamming the door loudly without being considerate to others who are staying on the same floor. Toiletries are not replenished daily, I have to call to request for additional.
Distance to the beach about 15 min walk, best to watch sun rise (a must)...don't be surprised that many local are already up doing their daily work out at the beach.

Just good to sleep.

The hotel is just fine for a short stay, to visit Hue and Hoi An from Danang, but otherwise it has nothing special and the neighborhood is not so nice. The room we got had no windows except a small one in the bathroom.

Hotel location is incorrect on map. It is much further from the beach, about four blocks from original location on the map. Smelly and stained towels. However, staffs were really nice and attentive.

Modern clean and comfortable

great modern twin delux room, with a bath and balcony. breakfast was delicious, but not all-you-can-eat, maybe due to low season. about 10 min walk to the beach and 10 min cab ride into town.

Decent hotel room, even without the windows. Clean, great shower, good location, looks nice. We found it very cheap for what it was. The hotel staff are overly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice. When we arrived it smelt a little stale in the room so maybe air it out a little bit. Location is fine too and they have bikes that you can hire. Good for the area.

The room was spacious and clean, and bed was comfortable. In our bathroom there was a leak somewhere as the bathroom was always in a wet state. The bathtub was sort of separated from the floor, not sure how much water has gone into the gap. We went to have a massage in the hotel, and later on we found out the spa is not a normal massage place, but more of a 'special massage' place. Breakfast was very disappointing, we could only choose 1 dish and 1 coffee/tea. No fruits, and taste was very bland. On the topside, service was good, staff was very friendly , and they give us good deal on car transfer from Da Nang to Hoi An -$350 one way. It's cheaper if you buy return trip. We hired motorbike from them as well, which was good as everything was so spread out, so we had the freedom to go further than we could on foot. The traffic in Da Nang is not crazy, so it's safer for riding motorbike. Location wise, pretty close to the beach, about 10mins walking max. Not much choices on street food around the hotels, only along the beach. We went for dinner twice in centre town,a sit was really good.

Decent location, quality varies

Compared to similarly priced hotels in other cities of Vietnam, I cannot say I am overly impressed. Overall, the hotel is fairly modern. However, I had a number of problems. The shower had no hot water and the drain was backed up. Probably because of the drain backup, the a/c unit condensation would overflow and drip onto the floor. Also, the toilet would not flush solid waste until the drain blockage was finally cleared (on the morning I checked out). I informed them of the lack of hot water and it took until the next day before they addressed it. Finally, the breakfast selections were very meager and the cleanliness of the dishes was less than what I'd like to see.

Nice hotel. Excellent price.

The location is a little isolated; but it is very cheap to take a taxi anywhere in Da Nang (maybe 40,000 VND, about $2) or even to Hoi An (300,000 VND or $15, and 30km away).

The rooms were clean. The bathroom was equipped with a glassed-in shower stall. The vanity was just a sink with no counter space; but it was clean.

You must request housekeeping to clean your room by hanging a card on the door knob outside. This isn't an issue; just that other places usually clean a room by default unless you hang a card for \"do not disturb\"... so it's fine as long as people staying there are aware.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was not very soundproof and you could hear everything happening in the hallway as if it was in the room. The other guests on our floor were a little slammy with their doors and such too; but we were never disturbed outside of daytime hours. Our sleep was good.

Located in tranquil part of Danang, good service

The hotel was located in the more quiet area of Danang where there are a few local eating places and a small handful of restaurants. The beach was simply amazing being less crowded and waters were blue and clear. The hotel amenities were very decent, breakfast was modest and there was no air conditioning in the breakfast room. Overall, a great hotel to stay in for modest budget travelers.

Friendliest staff, reasonable price

Highly recommend Hoang Sa. The staff were very accommodating, helped us with directions, renting motorbikes, places to go, etc. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. Their wifi is excellent. If you are looking for a good experience, go here. You can pay more to be directly on the beach, but I just don't see the need to. Cab rides to local bars and restaurants costs only about 30,000 ($1.50 US).

hotel not as close to beach as lead to believe

Upon arrival a little disappointed when we realised the actual location of the hotel was not as close to the beach nor the city as appeared on the map. Staff identified that the location of the hotel is wrong on tourist maps including website. Staff were good although English language they found difficult to understand and speak. Breakfast was very disappointing with only omelette available for people not wishing to east Asian noddles for breakfast, the buffet breakfast was only available on some days and had no western style food other than banana crepe and fried eggs cooked in too much oil. No toast available. Hotel does not have a restaurant therefore eating at night you must go by taxi into the city or walk approximately 30 mins toward the beach for food from local. Hotel staff helpful in getting taxis however taxi's can increase price for tourists, be aware. Hotel staff organise tours although very good day out the group we had had no other English speaking people on the tour and the guide did not communicate in English either.

Due to a serious accident a day prior, I was unable to stay there. I sent email to the manager explaining the situation and within three days he had refunded my *non-fundable* deposit ( 4 nights) and contacted Expedia on my behalf ( who still carged me for one night.) He copied me on all correspondence and gave reference numbers, too. Wow! I traveled around SE Asia for nearly a month prior and this is the most helpful anyone has been.

This was a great stay in Da Nang . The hotel location although about a 10 minute walk to the beach or a short taxi trip across the river to the central district, was still quite convenient . The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that I was looked after . When I needed a cab , tour or general information they supplied what was required . Although it is a few blocks removed from the beach , if you are adventurous and want to settle in for some food and drinks with local people , there are places down the street that I think are quite entertaining . Get settled in, meet some Vietnamese and enjoy . Overall service at the hotel is a 10 . Rooms are clean and breakfast is good on the top floor.

Glad we stayed just 1 night

Room was clean, bed was comfy and had a big sink. However, the toilet couldn't flush. Our night's rest was also marred by a group of noisy guests with kids screaming and running around the corridor, constant banging of their doors, loud talking and even leaving their doors open talking from one room to another. The constant opening of their doors kept triggering the door alarm which last throughout the night. We were not usually fussy guests, but the noise level got so bad that we had to ask them to tone down, and all the while we were wondering why the staff did not do anything about this (surely there are security cameras on every floor?) Breakfast was also meagre, with simply a small bowl of noodles, or eggs, so we left the hotel hungry. Really glad to leave, we for sure won't come back nor recommend this hotel.

6일 있었고 창문없는 방이였어요. 하우스 키핑을 조식 먹을 시간에 해주는 특이한 곳이였지만 받지못하면 오후에 다시 해주거나 전화로 가능한 시간을 물어봅니다. 8층 엘레베이터 바로 앞 방을 사용했는데 아침에 스텝들 소리로 너무 시끄러워서 이틀째 아침에 프론트에 시끄럽다고 말했는데 그 때 대답은 ‘어쩔 수 없다’ 였지만 그 날 부터 아주 조용해졌고 그 다음날 저에게 잘 잤냐구 물어보더라구요. 그날부터 푹 잤습니다. 아침 조식 수는 별로 없지만 계란 맛있습니다. 쌀국수도 맛있습니다. 스텝들이 매우 친절해서 좋아요. 해변에 갔다가 젖은채로 돌아와도 괜찮은 거리입니다. 주변에 한식당이 너무 많아서 처음에는 여행자로써 실망했는데 몇일 지나니까 한국식당 있는게 넘 좋았습니다. 마트도 바로 옆에 오케이마트라고 한국 마트 있습니다.

Superior Budget Hotel with Friendly Staff!

I stayed 10 days at this property. Ignore all the ridiculous star ratings found on some websites; this is a budget hotel; but a very good one! I booked a superior room which was fine but lacks a window. After 2 days I got upgraded to a deluxe room on the 8th floor with good views. The window makes all the difference. Staff is friendly at this property and always acknowledge you when you walk past the reception. Breakfast was fine; mostly Vietnamese style and they try make something special out of it. All in all for a budget hotel everything was smooth and fine, just don't expect any amenities and service that might come with false expectations due to the 4 star ratings found on some hotel booking sites. Location wise fair at most,halfway between the beach at alacarte and vincom plaza. I walked to Bach Dang road most of the days in 20 minutes but walking over the bridge in daytime can be pretty exhausting. Taxis are about 2 american dollars to Bach dang road so is inexpensive. Again nothing really to fault with this hotel all was good and excellent price value. Recommended

미케비치 걸어서까지 가기 좋아요

호이안 넘어가기전 오전에 미케비치랑 k마트 가볼까 해서 전날 오후 체크인하고 다음날 체크아웃 했습니다 건물 객실 엘리베이터 전반적 다 깔끔했어요 벌레는 전혀 없었구요 조식은 가짓수는 몇개 없지만 절반정도는 입맛에 맞아서 몇번 먹었어여 미케비치는 정문에서 왼쪽으로10분정도 직진하니까 있어서 다녀오기 편했어요 바로 옆에 새로생긴 쌀국수 가게가 있는데 에어컨도 있고 깔끔하고 저렴하고 음식이 전반적으로 다 맛있었어요 사장님도 친절하시구요. 호텔은 가격저렴하고 깔끔합니다 도로에서 살짝 안에 있어서 택시소음 없어여

室内はそこそこ清潔で、スタッフの対応も良いですが、なにしろ部屋に窓がありませんでした。室内もたばこのにおいが染みついていました。シャワーに石鹼などをおくところがなく、使い勝手がどうしようもなく悪いです。安いので窓がない以外は値段相応ともいえます。

새벽도착이라 저렴한 곳으로 예약했는데 알라카르테와 꽤 떨어져있고 밤에 도착하니 무서워서 나가질못했다..
차라리 다낭대성당 근처에 숙소를 잡았으면 클럽을 한번 더 가는건데ㅠㅠ 첫날 밤비행기로 도착하신다면 다낭대성당 근처를 추천합니다. 넓은 방과 깨끗한 욕실은 마음에 들었다. 5명이 방 2개를 잡고 그냥 트리플룸에서 다같이 잤다. 그정도로 넓은 침대! 위치빼곤 괜찮고 조식은 별로임.
