Not what I had expected by way of 'service'.

In terms of an overnight stay, this hotel was the equivalent of other Ibis hotels we have stayed at - good value for money but the service we received was far from satisfactory and well below what we would have expected from Ibis.
During the evening we were phoned from Reception and asked if we would return the bottle-opener we had borrowed. Naturally I assumed this was a genuine mistake and simply said we hadn't borrowed one. The receptionist was not happy with this and insisted we had borrowed hers. My wife, who is fluent in French, then spoke to her saying she had the wrong room but she continued to insist we had her lilac bottle-opener. In the end she actually came to our room where we showed her our own RED bottle-opener and she went away, still dissatisfied. Later on, she treated us in a very 'off hand' manner in the restaurant, saying it had 'disappeared'.
The following morning, on checking out, another staff member said my on-line booking was for only one person and I had to pay for a second breakfast. When I strenuously challenged this, she immediately retracted, in fact so quickly it made me wonder if something dodgy was going on.
All in all a very disappointing stay at an Ibis establishment.

Good hotel that seems to bec overlooked

Had trouble finding it. Road wasn't on GPS. This isn't a unique problem for this hotel. tre needs to be a GPS nav system location on htels.com website that gets you to a point where you can see the Hotel, as well as the address. There seemed to be a lot of vacancies .
A note for history buffs is that nearby Mazamet is worth a look as it used to be significant in the international wool trade ( skins processed for wool and leather ).

Chambre annulée sur place alors que payée. Très mauvais accueil. Surbooking pour atterrir à 2kms… un Mercure… attention de ne pas confondre Surbooking et Dol.
Une fois arrivé au Mercure 4*… Télévision qui ne fonctionne pas, plus de place sur le parking à 20:30, pas de gel douche dans la SDB… pour un surclassement en 4 étoiles… c’est limite… très limite. Il faudrait penser à se poser les bonnes questions. Personnellement je ne me les pose plus concernant ces deux établissements ; a fuir, next.
Le métier de l’hôtellerie est un métier de services.
A bon entendeur.

Je passe près de 80 nuits à l’hôtel par an. Celui-ci est un des meilleurs rapports qualité prix que je connaisse.

Séjour le 15 août, jour férié, avons pris la nuit en demi pension par précaution du jour férié.
Avons eu la surprise d avoir un coup de fil l après-midi même soit 3 h avant le dîner que le cuisinier est en vacances. Soit ce monsieur a bien le droit à ses congés mais les clients à leur dîner ! Que faire ... des croques monsieur nous ont été proposés !
Félicitation pour l organisation.... après une négociation nous avons pu dîner au restaurant Mercure que nous félicitons pour leur professionnalisme (eux) et la qualité des produits

Nous avons aimé cet hôtel parce qu'il est moderne très bien entretenu et le personnel très courtois et serviable. Pour trouver quelque chose à regretter nous avons manqué de fromages sur le buffet du diner et d'eau vraiment chaude au petit déjeuner, mais bon!!!

Excellent point de chute sur Castres

Excellent choix sur la ville de Castres. Chambre spacieuse même si j’ai eu une chambre pour personne à mobilité réduite non signalé à la réservation. Excellent accueil et succulent petit déjeuner.

Séjour fort agréable...

Très bon séjour,tout le personnel était super sympa. Dommage qu'en cette période de fêtes le restaurant soit fermé ce qui nous a obligé à ressortir.
J'aurais bien apprécié un plateau de courtoisie ds la chambre, heureusement il y avait la bouilloire de la réception à disposition. Chambre très calme,lit confortable, douche italienne super agréable.
