This Masseria ticked every box for us, we felt so relaxed & at home there, we barely left it in 3 days. The staff were so friendly & relaxed, the atmosphere was very homely, the pool & spa were lovely. It’s a special place, unpretentious, authentic & very comfortable. Would love to visit again.

Wonderful stay. The room was nice and ours felt secluded, which is what we wanted. We had a small pool and the main pools were also nice. The main lobby/ reception/ restaurant were very nice and the restaurant itself had great food for breakfast and dinner. There isn’t much around the hotel, or we didn’t know much, so we ended up eating at the restaurant multiple times. Each time was great, but would recommend a little pre-trip planning for meals if you’re not familiar with the area. Overall, would recommend a stay

We loved our stay here!

Where do I start, we ate wonderful food in a relaxing and romantic environment after spending our days lounging by either (or both) of the resorts two saltwater pools. If we decided to be energetic we walked or cycled around the 100 hectare estate.

A fantastic place to stay - highly recommend!

Myself, my fiancé and our friend stayed here for 3 nights in July. The hosts and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and very attentive. The masseria and grounds were beautiful and having a delicious evening meal outside was a great experience there. Angelo and Fabiola have done a wonderful job in designing the guest rooms and renovating the site - the archeological tour of the site was fascinating. The nearby town of Oria was also a trip favourite. Beaches were easily accessible by car. A brilliant stay and highly recommend.

Best Masseria in Puglia!

Angelo and Fabiola (and Blue, their beautiful dog) have, we believe, built and maintain one of the most amazing masserias in all of Puglia. From the public spaces, to the suites and rooms, to their exquisite food, no detail is left unplanned. Without hesitation, we recommend Masseria La Palombara to everyone. Word of advice, you must have their tasting menu dinner. It is an unforgettable experience!

Peaceful and relaxing, with amazing food!

From the moment we arrived Angelo made us feel so welcome. The accommodation is really amazing, so quiet and peaceful. The pools were lovely with comfy sun loungers and shade provided (which in August is needed!). The breakfasts were delicious, all from homegrown organic produce from their farm. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return. The only disappointment was that we were only staying 2 nights!

Only 18 rooms in a lovely masseria. We were concerned that having hosts, the owners of the masseria, would feel a bit much but it was a fabulous plus. There was a lovely welcome and it was clear that the hosts and the small number of employees really cared about ensuring we had a good experience. The breakfasts were a treat and they were on hand to offer help and advice if needed. The place is fabulous- loved our room,the pools and being able to wander around the land eating figs and almonds from the trees. The nearest town is Oria which is beautiful and has some good restaurants. We hired a car from the airport and visited the local area. A very beautiful part of Italy full of historic towns and amazing coastline.

Bel endroit, personnel accueillant et sympathique.

Le séjour a très mal commencé...mais très bien terminé. On a réservé des chambres à 320 € la nuit..960 € pour 3 nuits. On s'est retrouvés dans une petite dépendance à 500 m du restaurant, Etc...C'est la 1ère fois que cela nous arrive avec Hotels.com. Le propriétaire Angelo Lippolis nous a changé de chambre en nous hébergeant dans une junior suite avec hammam à 2 pas de la piscine pour les 2 nuits suivantes. Merci Angelo.
