Very kind staff, amenities in room exactly what you need for a stay. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable bed and pillows. Everything worked, fast and free Wi-Fi, free parking. Check in took about 16 seconds which was nice after an exhausting drive.

The room was spotless. The parking lot grit will track in on your shoes if you leave them on. I have stayed here twice now and love the place and staff. A family run establishment. Not a chain hotel. The food is good in the pub, and there is often live music. The bay is a short walk. Poochies welcome.

Meaford is a tiny town, and Meaford Inn is about the only 'hotel/motel' in town. It's at the end of the main street of shops and just before a really nice beach (though rocky). Everything is a walkable distance. The Inn is clean enough for an overnight stay, and the restaurant was nice. Overall it was an ok experience, but there were a few things worth mentioning for future travellers. When we brought it to staff attention that the AC wasn't pumping air, we had to insist that she change the filter (which was the obvious problem) and she huffed off, not looking at or talking to us again. We overlooked a few things too... the curtain on the window wasn't connected at the top all the way to the end and it was easy to see inside at night if we hadn't played with it to get it to cover; the bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling and had no extractor vent, we were given half a roll of toilet paper and no extra roll; flies kept getting into the room (because the large garbage outside was very close) and although the room has a permanent bug zapper, we had flies buzzing around us all night. We were grateful to get a ground floor room to accommodate a walker-user, but the room was still up 1 step and

Absolutely charming little inn. Needed the escape during a very rough patch of life. Valentina was so kind and accommodating with my internal struggle of whether or not to go through with the trip at the last minute, and when I arrived and said I had decided to go for it after all, she beamed at me and said, \"I had a feeling we'd see you!\" Had the pleasure of meeting her utterly gorgeous Samoyed upon returning back to the inn after an even rougher day; her name is Daisy, and she felt like a guardian angel. (She's a very big fan of belly rubs and chin scritches!) Otherwise: the bed was comfy, the water pressure was great, and I could fall asleep watching HGTV to get my mind off everything. Highly recommend staying here if you need a quiet escape. Thank you so much, Valentina -- and Daisy, too!

complete negligence bought over 80 dollars in food they didnt plug in fridge before hand and all our food spoiled offered us a free meal to get yelled at that eating in a hotel is forbidden and they did us a favour in the first place and im a man so i should know to do their job when I check in a hotel also was poorly cleaned and the bedding wasnt changed

On New Year’s Eve, we were looking for accommodation near Blue Mountain, but everywhere was fully booked. We had no choice but to stay at this inn, which is about a 25-minute drive from Blue Mountain Village.

The overall experience was average. The room amenities were acceptable, and the staff were friendly. However, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom that affected the comfort of the room. Additionally, there was no coffee available in the room, which was disappointing.

Stayed for just the one night due to overflow at the in-laws' place. It was a nice stay, although I did find the room's heater to be a bit on the loud side and I was awakened a couple of times during the night when it kicked in.

Was a little pricier than I remember from previous stays, but Meaford has few options and I didn't feel like driving to Owen Sound or Collingwood.

time for some updates!

We have been coming up in the fall for the scarecrows, fall colors, great restaurants and the location is great for going to Collingwood and Owen Sound. We have been staying there since the renovations...but it needs some updates. no ports for electronics...only wall outlets if you can find any, we bring an extension cord! The mattress in room six by the window makes an awful noise where you sit on the edge, where you get in and out of the bed...wakes you up when the other person gets up in the night if you get any sleep! I needed Tylenol for an achy body from the other mattress! Time for new mattresses!!!!!

Squeaky clean, uncomplicated, and not at all fancy describes this sweet little motel. The owners are equally sweet and friendly. It was perfect for a quick overnight stop. And you cannot and will not be able to beat the price.

Room was very clean ,but not organized..no desk , only 1 night table, no closet to use hangers, no counter in bathroom, loud if windows are open..

The motel is dated and showing its age. A/C is so dirty (filters), the baseboards aren't clean, dust/dirt under beds, bed hard and noisy. The lampshade on the bedside table was stained and dirty. There isnt even a box of tissue. The worst part was... the room was so HOT it was terrible!! Even though we turned the thermostat down to 15° it kept blowing hot air

Positive note: manager very accommodating, and the kocation is excellent.

Not really worth $135/night.

Room clean in need of maintenance.
Coffee maker but no coffee.
No hand soap, no extra toilet paper or kleenex.
If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay this will.
No bells or whistles

Walking distance to restaurants and concert hall.
