We had a great stay. We really enjoyed being right on the water. The town is fun and waking up to beautiful sunshine and sailboats right outside the door were a great treat.

The hotel is quite dated but was very well kept and clean considering the age. Tge staff were very friendly as well. Our room had a full kitchen with: stove, oven, dishwasher and full size fridge.

The staff were very warm and welcoming upon arrival. Our suite was spacious and clean with all the essentials. The view of the harbour was beautiful and we could see the sun rise to the east over the lake each morning. The pool and hot tub area was spacious and clean and the kids really enjoyed their time there. The staff graciously extended the pool hours on the Friday night to accommodate the guests who were in town for the Cheer competition. Thornbury is a quaint little town with nice shops and cafes, and only a 15-minute scenic drive to Blue Mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!

Great location, great staff, clean room, very spacious.
We had a 2 day cheer tournament and decided to try here. It wasn't as crazy expensive as it was staying directly at blue mountain.
Definitely a unique little place as well
We had pool, hot tub, gym and sauna access.
Sauna was really great :) treadmill in the gym worked well too. Husband and daughter used the pool and said it was perfect
There are some reviews that say its older and dated. It just adds character:)

The staff were awesome. Couldn't be more friendly. My concern was the mattress on the pull out couch. It as very stained and dirty. Underside ripped. Was given a foam "topper" when front desk made aware. Some ceiling issues noted in bathroom and pool area. Room was otherwise clean and awesome view.

The suites were spacious, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. There was plenty of room to spread out, relax, and store luggage comfortably. For families or longer stays, the extra space is a big plus.
However, the overall condition of the resort feels very outdated. The décor, furniture, and fixtures seem like they haven’t been updated in quite some time. While everything was generally functional, the old-fashioned style and worn details made the space feel less inviting than expected. Some areas could really benefit from renovation and modernization.

Room was clean but a few things left over from last guests, nighttime eye covers and pin near bed. Staff were great! Overall felt very satisfied with the property .. clean units , well maintained . The front desk staff was so polite and friendly and they even gave us a complimentary food voucher which we could use it in the Blue mountain Village that was so kind act of the staff .

We stayed at this hotel in 2018 and 2019 and returned for a two-night stay recently. Unfortunately, the quality has declined. Check-in took longer than expected, the room had broken chairs that were unsafe, and cleanliness was noticeably worse than before. The furniture and small appliances appear unchanged after many years, and basic items like toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex were poorly restocked.
Recommendation: Management needs to focus on safety, cleanliness, and updating the rooms. Until improvements are made, I would not recommend this hotel.

The resort is very well located, just a few minutes from Blue Mountain Village and in a beautiful spot right in front of the lake. While the facilities are older, they are well maintained, and the apartments are fully equipped with everything needed for families and large groups. I would definitely stay at the resort again. The customer service is polite, but not particularly friendly.

The bed in the main bedroom was unfortunately very hard, would benefit from a foam topper. Would have loved a floor mat by the door as it was very snowy and messy. Is this hotel perfect? The quiet area and views from this place are what saves it in my opinion. This “resort” is very tired and rundown in many areas. I’m not normally too picky about the specific look of things when I travel, but the reality is, things are falling apart at this place and if definitely all needs a good update. Peeling wallpaper, filthy rug, missing paint, water dripping onto the outside sitting area outside our room, filthy ceiling fan, tub and accessories old and rusty, a broken mirror that had been semi fixed at one point….. the list goes on. I will say that for the most part we enjoyed our stay but it was hard to look past these many fixable things. We would consider staying again if updates were made and things were much more clean.

This property is excellently located with beautiful sunrise views over the harbour, right from your room. The main street,restaurants, shops, walking trails, river and fish ladder are all within walking distance so no need to drive and park elsewhere. The town is quiet and peaceful as is the harbour.
The rooms are very large with full kitchen and dining table as well as sitting area with sofas. There is a large deck with patio tables and lounge chairs over looking the boats in the harbour. The property itself is a bit tired looking and could use some doors replaced, but it is clean.

Great area, hotel accessibility issues.

The hotel is right across from yacht harbour. Property offers indoor pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, bbq’s, fitness rooms overlooking waterfront. Sweet girl at front desk. Bed mattress comfortable. Good kitchen amenities. However we were on the bottom floor and I use a cane, and the unit had serveral sets of steps INSIDE of it, including down into the bed area. The sizeable unit , was long and narrow with the bathroom right to the side at the entrance and the sleeping area by the sliding glass doors on the opposite end. You had to leave a light on so not to hurt yourself going to the bathroom tripping on the stairs during the night. I am guess these interior stair issues were just on bottom level to accommodate building being built into the hill. There are no elevators so there are only stairs for the upper levels. Would definitely go back if they could solve accessibility issues. Problem for me, and also my sister who’s family was staying on same level as us, Gorgeous area , great town.
