Great place for a little getaway. Clean and great location. The pool, hot tub and sauna left a little bit to be desired..Also they are a bit too strict on late check outs. Otherwise very good.

Everything’s amazing until we booked a spa my friend and I two for Tuesday. The staff was so rude. I never wanna really go back there again. Everything else was amazing but the spa. They got angry with us when we weren’t sure where to go or what we were doing she came into pretty much the greatest, and then they put us into these tubs. My girlfriend had a broken shoulder, left us. There never came back. We had to figure it out for ourselves for the rest of it, and when I went to talk to them, they turned this little do not speak to us, cause I’m on the phone sign around I unbelievable you can talk to somebody else. There was no one else around. They just kind of left us high and dry. I almost didn’t wanna go back. I go back to everything else, but not the spa. !! rude and ignorant! But just a spy everything else was amazing

We stayed on the second floor in room 2416 and took the elevator to the second floor, walked to the farthest end of the hallway and then had to go down two flights of stairs with our luggage. When we arrived at the second 2nd floor we again had to walk all the way back. Floor is carpeted and the carpet is buckling and there are tripping hazards every ten yards. Just seemed very tired and although clean, lacking maintenance. My wife and I would not return.

This is a nice place. The pool area is great and has an outdoor hot tub.We paid extra for a waterfront and the location was terrible. I don’t know how they can call it waterfront. Yes we could see the water but a lot of our view of the water was blocked out by a cedar tree and a building.

The property was clean and comfortable and had great amenities. It is in a great location close to the water and downtown collingwood. Front desk staff were friendly and warm. It would be helpful if staff went over all the amenities at check in such as the fire pits rooftop etc so guests know about all the options. The spa staff could have been friendlier and their amenities do need updating.

The customer service at the hotel is very poor especially at the spa period then the room conditions were not good. We had a Jacuzzi bathtub that kept the motor kept randomly turning on while we were not even in the washroom, we're showering or bathing the remote for the T. V didn't work, the TV was antiquated. The tile on the floor were not secure, said they were loose and rocky, and it was quite dated in underwhelming. The toilet when you would flush it sounded like an engine was running in the tank.It was beyond loud.

Overall, the staff was fine however we found the elevator is very slow and we had a problem with our toilet currently because if you’re on the fifth floor and there’s more people below you, it takes time for the tank to fill. And the girls sitting at the desk in the Spa area wasn’t too friendly. Her answer to everything was it’s online.

The room and hotel were nice enough…unfortunately the on site spa was an upsetting visit that ruined our entire stay as a group of 8 that was trying to celebrate my daughter’s future wedding. We had to evacuate the spa as the chlorine gases where causing excessive coughing and breathing issues although they allowed us to stay in for 45-60min before advising us there was a problem. We than had to call poison control and monitor each other ruining all our other plans we had headaches and respiratory issues for a few days after. We did not pay for our spa visit but no break of the $600 paid for the room was given which was very disappointing

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The official check-in time was 4:00 PM, but we arrived early at 3:00 PM and were pleasantly surprised when the staff allowed us to check in right away without any issues and provided our room keys promptly.
If you are traveling with kids, I highly recommend staying here — they will absolutely love it! The indoor pool area was fantastic, featuring a fun water slide for children and a hot tub located just outside the indoor pool area. Access to these facilities was included at no extra charge and was open from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Unfortunately, we arrived late and didn’t get the chance to enjoy the spa, dinner, or bar since they close after 10:00 PM, but everything else about our stay was great.
Overall, it was a very good experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Absolutely loved our stay , our family loved our room and all the amenities. The only complaint I’d have is the amount of chemicals in the pool . Even just standing on the side of it our eyes were burning and a lot of kids ended up with burning eyes and body rashes . If they were balanced properly then I’m sure we would have taken advantage of swimming more . Other than that our stay was basically perfect and we already can’t wait to come back !

Felt very pedestrian.. Vibe was sort of off, not terrible but didn’t feel like they really embodied a true relaxation spa atmosphere. Felt somewhat hasty and geared towards groups as an activity vs. a true wellness experience. Went alone, there were a bunch of bridal parties, poor noise control, staff seemed stressed, lots of towels/ used cups left around, shower stalls had gross silicone anti slip mats that I felt made it more slippery. The water walk was a good experience but very basic hydrothermal circut that had so much more potential for elevation. For the price, there are better alternatives if you’re looking for a good zen experience.

Our room was clean and quiet. The beds we're comfortable and the room amenities were very good. The fitness facilities were excellent and open 24 hours. Pool and hot tubs were also good. Few faults were some tired interior finishes and paying a premium for a \"Deluxe Lake view room\" that was a bit oversold - more like a view of the parking lot. Overall, good, and would return.

The room didn’t look clean when I opened the door. There was dust everywhere. Didn’t seem like the carpet was vacuumed. We were in an outdated room paying the same price as others from our cheer team who got renovated rooms. The toilet seat in the bathroom wasn’t even the same size as the toilet. My kids couldn’t enjoy the pool for the weekend because the chlorine levels were so high. The chemical fumes were extremely strong and that’s a health and safety issue. My children’s skin was red for hours. Other children were coughing just as bad, to the point where they were puking and couldn’t control it. Definitely was hoping for a better experience for the price I paid. We were so busy I didn’t get a chance to take pictures, but I did take a photo of the toilet when I got there. We had to park a mile away to get to our room because the parking lot still had snow piles that weren’t pushed back enough.

The only issues I had when I called before our arrival to make sure our room had a microwave and fridge, I was told it also had a dishwasher. We were in room 4409 and no dishwasher. The place is nice and clean, pool was great we will be back.

1 king bed rm- $262 for 1 night. I felt ripped right off.
The bathroom: no counter at all. The floor actually felt sloped. The shower tile must have been slapped on, could see a lot of uneven, bulging areas. And the shower fixture was an absolute joke. There was a pull out make up mirror but was useless because the ring light was so dim.

For the rest of the room in general:
The paint job was horrendous- you could see missed spots, scuffs on walls, doors, baseboards.
Literally looks like they must hire immigrants in the summer to do this “handy work” because whoever did any of that work had no idea what they were doing.

The room was outdated: the tv and alarm clock were old. Couldn’t even connect my phone to listen to music.

The staff were unremarkable. No welcome, no how was your stay? Barely a smile when checking in/out. Not rude, but not great.

The only good thing about my stay was the clean linen. It smelled clean and fresh and was soft, pillows were nice. Bed wasn’t the greatest but it was comfortable enough.

Will I go back there? Absolutely not, and I won’t recommend it.

It's impossible to book an appointment for the spa, unless you do it way in advance. They have a 2 for 1, Tuesday deal, but I've tried twice to use it now, and they never have any room, and take forever to call you back. They don't seem to pick up the phone much. Pool & Hot Tub are good!

As someone who has worked in &built businesses in the hospitality industry, I understand very well what it takes to operate a successful hotel. Because of that, I do not write negative reviews lightly. Unfortunately, our recent stay was very disappointing.
We booked one night to celebrate my birthday. Our room was only ready after 4 p.m., and we actually entered closer to 5 p.m. The next morning also happened to be the time change, so when we woke up it was already 10 a.m., with checkout at 11. I politely called the front desk to ask if we could stay until 12 noon, explaining that it was my birthday and that we had arrived late the day before.
The response was extremely rigid. I was told that even staying an extra 30 minutes would result in a $50 charge. For a $400 one-night stay, the lack of any flexibility or consideration felt very disappointing, especially given the circumstances.
What made this even more frustrating was that after we checked out exactly at 11, I informed a housekeeper in the hallway that we had left the room. She kindly told me not to worry and mentioned they likely would not even clean the room for another couple of hours. That moment made it clear that a simple one-hour courtesy extension could easily have been accommodated.
This is not only about policy, but about humanity and hospitality. Sometimes special occasions deserve a small exception. Unfortunately, none was considered.

Would have given 4 or even 5 if it weren't for lack of transparency. Everything was great besides, not giving a heads up about the fact that the heater/ac unit in the room was broken! They just stamped a note on it saying sorry for the inconvenience, there is a loud heater you can turn on instead.

I’ve stayed here a few times, it’s usually spot on. Disappointing this stay. Internet issues, my waterside room was 90% parking lot, wonky bed and light bulbs out. The staff at the restaurant and the restaurant itself was lovely and exceeded our expectations!! Food was amazing & they opened early for the Olympic game which was appreciated.

Unfortunately the spa was booked and we understood that booking 4-6 weeks ahead is the norm. However, this Expedia members only deal came up 1 week before and all over any hotel advertisement is this beautiful photo of a pool. We learned that pool is actually only in the aquatherapy section of the spa- that is bookable for a price for 45 minute sessions- and again was fully booked unfortunately during our stay. I think that it should be CLEARLY outlined on Expedia that the spa is separate from the hotel booking and you don’t have access to most of the areas pictured- and they book up ahead of time. The cross country skiing and rental was also great!

Unfortunately we didn't have a great stay. Shower wasn't clean, but that was an easy fix. The first night we were woken up by snoring in the room next door! Not the hotel's fault and luckily the people checked out the next day. On our second night someone enter the room next to us and opening their side of the adjoining door which startled us out of bed at 5:30am. When discussed with the hotel they advised that is was a guest that checked in early. Seems strange that they would allow someone to check in at that hour when normal check in is after 4pm. No apology for the inconvenience.

The room was nice but the bathroom wasn't very clean - the toilet especially looked like it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest, and there was dirt in the corners of the floor. We found the experience could have been better overall in other ways too. There was no food - no breakfast available until after 11 am - and check out time was 11 am. So we could not order room service. We weren't told this before arrival and would have brought groceries for breakfast had we known. There were vending machines that sold candy but two of them were not working, and the 3rd one I checked only took cash which I didn't have (the other vending machines took cards, but were broken). The wifi was very slow, as was the one elevator for the whole wing of the hotel. For a 4-star \"Resort and Spa\" I was surprised there were no robes to wear to the pool. They provided very small towels at the pool, which you were not supposed to take back to your room. Not a great experience, all in all.
