This was our family's first time visiting the Blue Mountain area. Firstly, this property is quite dated. Our room wasn't very clean. There was a hairpin left behind on the table, a piece of garbage under the bed, toothpaste stains on the mirror and counter top. The pool area and water smelled horrible but that has to do more with people doing things in the pool they shouldn't. Outside our room was also a disassembled playpen. For the price you pay, this hotel isn't worth it.
What made the stay amazing and memorable for us was the front staff desk individual named Bruce. He was a delight to talk to and interact with. He allowed us to check in early, gave us a balcony roon, gave us wristbands for the coaster and canopy jump, gave us a restaurant coupon, gave us late checkout and even gave our kids a Blue Mountain plush when we checked out. He went above and beyond, it wasn't just about the extras but he went out of his way to converse with us and get to know our family and give us tips and information. He made the stay memorable and we would come to this resort because of him. Our family had a blast and it was 100% because of Bruce. Thank you!

Nothing special- The property is not as well groomed as the others. The wood finishes in the room and carpet were worn out. It took a very long time for hot water to arrive in the bathroom sink and shower. There is no magnifying mirror in the bathroom so shaving or applying makeup was a challenge.
It is nice that they give you free passes to the ridge runner and canopy climb, however due to the late check in time of 4pm we did not get to utilize them as they closed at 6pm. By the time we walked around and ate something that option was gone.
Staff was professional and friendly and the hotel is clean otherwise.

The room was in great need of a complete renovation. The one bed had broken bed frame or mattress- had a significant lean.
The bathroom was gross. Mold and hair on the floor. Dirty cloth left in the shower. Leaky pipes under open sink, brown stain on floor. No vent in the bathroom.
Stayed 2 nights. Second day requested a new coffee maker as one in room was not working. Also asked for carpet to be vacuumed (we had a ground level room and had been using the patio) because there was sand tracked in from the patio. Requested patio be swept and garbage (that was already there) be picked up - cigarette butts,paper coffee cups,lids,2beer cans and a pet poo bag.
Front desk told us, absolutely. The housekeeper does a daily refresh.
Well…it was not enough. Beds could have been made nicer, patio not swept, garbage still around patio, carpet not vacuumed, dirty towels still in the shower on the floor, hand towel not changed, bathroom garbage not changed. But we did get a working coffee maker
It was great that this hotel had an indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs- but they need a HUGE remodel. The pool deck is very worn,pool had a bathtub ring around the edge, broken and missing tiles on pool edge,a poo smell ?? While in the pool. Hot tub needs a super clean and new wood along edge. Definitely needed a soapy shower as there was a sticky slimy feel left on skin. Outdoor hot tubs - need a net to scoop out the flies that go in. Garbage and beer cans clearly visible around tubs in low bushes.

We stayed at blue mountain inn for 2 nights. It is in a great location. Right at the bottom of the hills. Could see the slopes from our room. Super close to the village only 7 min walk. Rooms were nice and clean. My only think I would say which isn’t a big deal is the pocket door to the bathroom and the knob to turn on the shower need some service. Both squealed pretty loudly when open/closed them.
Lots of choices for restaurants nearby and short drive to collingwood.
We had a nice weekend getaway.

The only thing is the Guest WiFi. “Unbearable”

It is not a data speed issue. It is about the connection is being dropped systematically because our new ipad/iphones wifi has new security features on rotating MAC addresses, but the guest WiFi network cannot handle this. So it droppes your connection regularly, like every 15-25 min. Really annoying.

All on-site amenities were accessible.

We loved that our room had an outdoor access to the outdoor hot tubs.

Unfortunately, there was no microwave in the room- there's one common microwave for everyone to use in the lobby.

The microwave area was dirty- stained table cloth with ants crawling on one part of the table.

We also loved that fresh towels are always available when we need them. The housekeeping staff were efficient and attentive.

We loved that the resort amenities were accessible by the shuttle.

Overall, the staff were very accomodating and were very warm, friendly, and nice.

We highly recommend this place!

Furniture in a king suite was dated and needed refinishing as surface was missing in some spots. Silverfish in the shower was disgusting, advised Emma at the front desk who stated that with our location and weather this was expected and was not polite or apologetic, why is there moisture on a 3rd floor “suite”? Not acceptable for the price point.

Our stay was fine. Staff were super friendly and the room was clean enough but the furniture and overall room structure was in rough shape. In particular, our bathroom had a pocket door that required both hands and a lot of elbow grease just to close, making a ton of noise in the process. The pool and hot tub were a bit dated but great to have on site.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room has the essentials, but lacks any comfort or courtesy offerings. There is a small fridge and a Keurig coffee maker, although ours was broken and no coffee cups or water glasses were provided.

We booked the Inn because they allowed dogs, and we were pleased that they had a small dog park area on the grounds! The room is not well equipped if you are staying several nights and want to be self sufficient. Luckily, we stayed on the second floor with a shared balcony space so we were able to keep food cold outside.

Our overall experience was OK. I think you pay more for the location than for the room's contents and comfort.

The staff was all super friendly and efficient, and the convenience of the hotel being at the base of a lift was a bonus however we did have some issues with our stay. The first night when we were about to go to sleep we pulled the blanket back and noticed a large dried blood stain on the inside of the duvet. We called the front desk who sent a general worker to change the bedding as it was after hours and the actual cleaning person had gone home. The next morning we went to the hotel restaurant to get breakfast before hitting the slopes, and after waiting 25 minutes for our food every single item on our plates arrived cold for some reason. Other than that the 2 night stay worked well for what we needed, it’s a no frills style family hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay did not match the expectations created by the photos and description.

There were no towels available at the pool, which was very inconvenient. More importantly, the hotel looked much older and lower quality than shown in the pictures.

The beds and bedding were especially disappointing. The blankets did not have proper covers, and instead, a sheet was placed underneath them, which did not feel hygienic or comfortable. The mattresses and overall room furnishings also felt old and worn out.

Overall, the hotel was misleading compared to its online photos, and we were quite disappointed with the condition and cleanliness standards.

Second time staying at Blue Inn, love our stay every time we come. It stayed with very friendly and helpful front desk. The room is clean and everything you need. Close enough to everything you need. Food is great onsite. We love finishing off the day with a swim, hot tub and sauna. Definitely recommend staying at this resort.

Staff and room was great. We didn’t have breakfast so no rating on it. Hotel was very clean considering the weather and season.

The negative was the apres ski hot tub I was in, the bubbler was very weak to not at all.
There are a couple other hot tubs but I couldn’t be bothered to move around checking them out.
Also…
We were booked at this Inn for convenience to step outside onto the ski lift and have access to the north side runs but the Valley lift was down for maintenance so we had to drive to another part of the resort to get on the hill and we didn’t get to ski the north at all.
