Lovely hotel but pool closed whole time
Lovely large room, very friendly staff, good breakfast. Beautiful pool area. However, we could not use the pool as it was closed for 3 days due to rain. For a lot of that period there was no rain and it was hot weather, so we feel it is unfair on all the guests to close the main hotel attraction for no good reason. If it had been terrible weather, we would understand, but there was the odd rain shower and that's all.

There's part of me that wants to keep this place a secret so that it doesnt get too busy for when i want to go back. An absolutely beautiful little hotel just off the beach. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Fresh towels each day and comfy beds. Towels were also provided for the pool. The poolside was clean and quiet with comfy sunbeds and the pool itself was amazing. warm water and a decent size if you fancy a swim.
Breakfast was basic but a nice enough buffet. All the staff were excpetionally lovely and went out of their way to help us.
The hotel is a very short walk to the beach and beachfront restaurants and just a 20min drive from the airport. Absolutely perfect.
I can't recommend this place enough and hope to get back there soon.

This hotel is located in the outskirts of a little town but only steps away from the beach. If you just want to relax and enjoy just lounging around, this place is for you. We only stayed a night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was one of the biggest rooms we’ve had during our 3 week tour of Europe. Very comfortable and clean. Would stay here again.

We ooked for 2 adults 2 teenagers. Paid for it and we received 1 double bed and 2 small singles for young kids. The soaps were half full, the rooms and property were full of ants. This is not cool. One the firdt day there we found 3 vlue pillsnon the night stand. Not ours so they came abd got them.

We stayed at the hotel for a week. The things I liked:
The hotel has a good location, close to Preveza, Parga and you can get to Lefcada for an hour or so.
The hotel stuff is really good, friendly and welcoming.
The pool is also very nice and clean!
The breakfast was good as well.
The things I didnt like are following:
I didn't like our room. The room is specious, but looked kinda poor and old.
I didn't like the smell of the room ( the smell of the furniture, even towels).
we were at first flour- witch means no bacony and dealing with the ants!

We spent 1-week family vacation at the The Ionian Theoxenia Hotel. During our stay the hotel was very quiet and atmosphere was relaxed - the private hotel pool gets an extra mention. It was low-season (early June) and it felt like staying in a very private and exclusive resort in that sense. We enjoyed great service by the staff, who all very helpful and friendly.The breakfast was recommended by earlier reviews, but we were a little disappointed for the lack of more fresh fruits and stronger coffee!!
The location of the hotel is quite far from sites and nice popular beaches, so rental car is a must to get around, but the main highway is just a minute drive from the hotel. A great place to relax and spend a little time in your own peace, away from the tourist-filled areas like Parga. Greatly Recommed for families!

Booked 5/20-5/23. Wow! New-Beautiful hotel, clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast. Great staff, friendly and informative. Right across the street from beach, walking distance to good restaurants. Easy drive to Parga or other historical points of interest. I would book again definitely if opportunity presented itself.

We were there for three days and we loved every minute of it. We booked the Economy Double room, but there is nothing economy about it!!! The room is on the ground floor,and the lack of a terrace is being compensated with a table and two chairs placed in front of each room. This setting overlooks the back of the hotel and it is calm and peaceful in the evening. The staff is excellent, always there when you need them. The bar is open until midnight and the prices are quite reasonable, same as the city. And last, but certainly not least, the breakfast!!! Something for everyone, and everything tasty.Replenished during the breakfast hours, and I would suggest that you don't miss out on the cream pies and the Greek yogurt (of course).

My family and I stayed in a Family Room at Hotel Ionian Theoxenia. The room was incredibly spacious, with great decor, and it was very clean. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which was very convenient. The hotel is not directly on the beach, but faces the beach and is within walking distance (just across the road). They also have a lovely pool and bar. There are some cafes and restaurants up the street if you want to stay local, otherwise, you will need to drive to find other stores or bars. In short, our stay was pleasant and we highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Hotel is small, very clean, very comfortable with very nice spacious a/c rooms overlooking the pool and sea. There is no food except for the breakfast which was simple but nice. Pool and pool area incl bar was very nice.The area was very quiet and secluded with an empty pebble beach (2 mins walk). If you want a quiet nice space then this is a perfect place. I didnt try gym or sauna.

Our room was actually a small apartment connected to the main building with its own small kitchen. Hotel has really nice swimming pool with pool bar and the beautiful beach is just 200 meters away. There's local cafes and tavernas within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful; the breakfast isn't overflowing but contains all necessary basic items to get a day started.

Confermo le recensioni positive fin qui esistenti. Due piccoli dettagli:
1. il sevizio spiaggia è inesistente (a disposizione sulla spiaggia, relativamente vicina, ombrelloni e lettini legati da un catenaccio le cui chiavi erano presso la reception: nessun servizio bagnino e bar)
2. Nessun tipo di intrattenimento serale a cura dell'hotel (un mortorio) mentre se ci fosse si potrebbe animare la serata e magari \"arrotondare\" con la vendita di bevande visto che ai bordi della piscina e presente un bel bar....
Per il resto il personale è molto cortese e disponibile a risolvere qualsiasi problema. Un grazie a Dimitry e Vassily per la loro disponibilità.
Infine la mia impressione è certamente positiva, ma non per soggiorni lunghi come ho fatto io.
È piu un ottimo hotel per brevi soggiorni di pieno riposo e tranquillità
