Check in staff was welcoming. Room smelled of cigar smoke. Ealls are thin, listened to a couple fight until midnight in next room. No coffe cups in room. Outdated hotel and water stained walls.
Breakfast was 6/10, thete was no yogurt

Cheaper parking rate for guests, pool inside the hotel and varied breakfast which was included in the reservation.

Great place to stay in Tulcea

The hotel was in a great location, was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the included breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning did not work in our room.

Simple but best

I liked that the room had a balcony. The breeze coming from the river was nice and we enjoyed the view of the river and the sunset. Friendly service, such as booking the bus back to Bucharest, was good.

An old outdated should be 1 Star!
Free parking was the best thing about it.
And location right on the river side.
Carpet in room badly stained.
One of 2 night stand lights was not working and not fixed after mentioning it to desk.
Hallway had very poor lighting.
Spa pool empty.
Hair dryer and outlet in bathroom inoperable.
Electrical outlet is under night stand, very difficult and inconvenient to access and use.
Restraunt poorly staffed.
Hall carpet on 5 stained.
Overall the whole place needs Deep Cleaning, refurbishing, updating; especially carpets need to all be replaced, electrical wiring, outlets more accessible.
Would not recommend as of right now.

Very pleasant and convenient

Perfectly adequate hotel with good car park for very cheap. We had a room looking onto the river and the only drawback was the noise from the patio bar below when they kicked up the music at 1am! But really I only needed to close the door onto the balcony and put on the air conditioner. Overall a great choice and very good postiion.

The staff was nice, but the price-quality ratio was a bit high. The place is a 3 start hotel. For 56 euros a night I was expecting a bit more. What bothered me most during the stay was the fact that there was a party downstairs, ad although we stayed at the 4th floor, we heard the music all night very loudly.

Great location on the waterfront. Fine place to stay while exploring the Delta. Very good German-style breakfast. Great price offered online. No need to pay extra to stay in the 4-star version of the Delta Hotel next door.

Older hotel but good value right by the Danube

Old style hotel right on the waterfront. Hotel also organises convenient boat trips. Veranda overlooks the Danube. Easy access to car park for only $2. Bathroom dated. Dinner on deck with river views. Newer 4* hotel next door by the same company.

We chose river view which gives you a small balcony (but no table/chair on it).. Convenient for boats and at the Museum end of town (about 15 mins walk from station). Large lobby and has an outside and inside bar area. We did not get the double room we asked for, only twin, but it was unusually full as there was a symposium on at the time. Reasonable value.

Terrible customer service

We booked the hotel and expected an uninterrupted night's sleep. Instead there was a very noisy wedding party which played excessively loud music. They were supposed to vacate by midnight but kept going until 4 a.m.. We complained to the staff but they appeared to have no authority to quiet the party down or expel them off the premises. We made a formal complaint but there was no response from the hotel management.

Nice hotel with good bar/lounge with river view.

Staff were helpful and let me keep my car parked in their limited car park whilst away for a couple of days on a river cruise. Room and breakfast were a good average.

Good hotel in need of better beds...

Nice hotel with plenty of areas in the hotel to hang out. Location is great for finding a delta boat tour with most boats docking right outside of the hotel. It's definitely in the heart of the tourist area.

The two hotel names are a bit confusing Delta 3 and Delta 4. Delta 3 is the original/older of the two buildings and is officially rated as a 3 star hotel. Delta 4 is the newer but somewhat attached hotel officially rated as a 4 star hotel. They have separate lobbies, separate breakfast rooms, separate staff. We stayed in the Delta 3.

By far, the biggest problem with the hotel stay was the rock hard beds! The third and final night, my shoulder was pretty sore.

Spot on location.

Great location to access the tours of the Delta and our room overlooked the river. They provided a breakfast when we left early. But some aspects of the room needed attention, overall satisfactory for the price.

Everything from check-in to check-out was very professional, with very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing 3-Star about this hotel is the name, the looks, condition, and every service was well above average, great breakfast, helpful front desk people. I checked in late, but was advised to seek a boat as the closing hour was approaching. I found Captain Danny (sign with white pelican, about 4 piers from the front of the hotel) the operator of 3 boats of various sizes, and very reasonable rates for 4-7 hour float trips to the backwaters where you are up close with nature, and the beautiful area.

Location could hardly be better, next to ferries, excursion boats and restaurants. Nice breakfast. All together good value for a.money compared to other hotels in Tulcea. Consider that hotel prices in the Danube Delta are higher than in most other parts of Romania. English, German and Scandinavian TV.
