The exterior of the building is clean and inviting. The room is older, but clean with amenities. No real water in the shower - I let it run a long while and still not hotter. Can still take a shower, but it’s slightly hotter than warm. Generally, great value for your dollar and it feels clean and safe.

Left us locked outside our room for an hour after midnight because the staff fell back asleep instead of coming to fix the key card as they said they would. There is no pool as advertised. The “breakfast” is meagre and often coffee wasn’t served until an hour after breakfast. Parking lot is full of trash and recyclables and the former pool room is overflowing with damaged and defunct furniture. Also the hot water is non existent and the rooms were never checked or cleaned the entire long weekend of our stay-disgusting.

Stay as far away from this place as you can. Absolutely disgusting rooms. We arrived and left immediately. I requested a refund which they will not give me. I have never seen a motel as disgusting as this is. Pillows are brown, pee was all over the bathroom wall and floor, walls have holes all over, no fitted sheets on the beds. The bathroom floor felt like you were going to fall through it due to water damage. Couldn’t use the hot tub because it was “wet season”. Don’t know how they judge whether you get your damage deposit back or not considering the condition of the rooms. Absolutely no integrity as an establishment. I didn’t stay at the motel but proceeded to pay for it anyway. If people give you damage deposits, you’re supposed to use them to fix the room. More like a murder scene than a motel. Had to fight with Expedia about getting refunded, and never was, and when they contacted the property, they proceeded to say that I stayed there even though I had the receipts for another hotel I booked the same day after leaving this motel. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else.

We had 2 rooms as we were travelling with friends. One room need a lightbulb in the bathroom and we had asked for more towels. They apparently went to the wrong room and by the time we got back to our rooms after going out to eat, the maintenance man had already left so the bulb didn’t get changed. The rooms are very outdated, (not like website pictures). Not sure that the sheets were changed on the bed from the previous occupants as they looked very wrinkled (like they had been slept in). Bathtub was not very clean. The windows were so dirty you could barely see out them and there was no screen.Continental breakfast was a joke…cold cereal and some bread. We had pre booked for another night for the following week but cancelled. Will definitely NOT stay there again! The entire place almost needs to be demolished and start from scratch.

The room was clean and nice. However, some of the electrical outlets didn’t work, and others were so loose that the plugs kept falling out. Also, even though it was past 7:00 a.m., breakfast wasn’t properly prepared. On top of that, my key card didn’t work every morning, so I had to go to the front desk every time.

Carpet was dirty and scary to walk on with bare feet. Toilet was running on arrival and difficult to make it stop running after flushing. Shower was nice. Two large towels and one hand towel for two guests. Kinda works. Bathroom fan is noisy. Non smoking rooms but the permanent guests all do smoke. Never tried the TV. Breakfast poorly stocked and no one around to refill the coffee or fridge. Beds were comfortable for my back.

The room was lacking and a bit rough. The carpet was filthy. 2 small towels for the bathroom. The bed cover had a large stain on it. The room was very noisy at night. While the AC worked well, it was very loud. No pool or hot tub, which was advertised on the website.

The check in staff was not the best. I paid with a visa debit card and had never had an issue using it for a hotel deposit, except for here. They wanted cash, so I had to find an ATM just to give the deposit. I asked for a receipt for the deposit and they said that they can't give one. I insisted, so they just hand wrote the deposit amount on the check in sheet. 3/10.

Breakfast was awful. We were there 45 minutes after it started and everything was almost gone.

The room was very dated and the carpet had deep staining but the cleaning staff had done a good job so the room was clean. The staff were excellent at check in as well as we had trouble working the tv remote and they came immediately to help. The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. Parking was good and close to the room. For the money, it was a good place to stay.

Staff wasn’t friendly and welcoming. We noticed whole time while we were in breakfast room. We had to ask everytime to restock things for breakfast and girl was asking people to grab it from other table. Also exhaust fan in washroom was not working, as the regulator was broken. Shower didn’t had shampoo, and taps were also very loose.

When I arrived there was no sign of any staff member. There were 2 others who said they rang the bell 10 times and no one came. Then they called and were told to wait. It was 5 minutes before anyone showed up. Must have gone to the bathroom. I had just finished a 8 hour drive and was looking forward to a nice hot bath. There was no tub plug in the room. i searched everywhere. So I went down to the office to get one. Again no one around. I rang the bell, and then again and again. After 5 minutes I left upset. I rolled up a plastic bag and stuffed it down the drain so I could fill the tub. The water was luke warm at best. apperently the water heater can't keep up with demand and at 8pm the demand was high. It took a day to get my plug. The walls are paper thin I could hear someone belching in the room beside me. Every move by neighbours could be heard. The baseboards were in need of replacement as half the paint had peeled off. The air con sounded like a train starting to move when it went on. The free breakfast was cereal or toast. The employees seemed to be indifferent to the guests. I will never stay there again. My room was 219.

The nightly price was excellent.
Cleanliness was very good. However, the state of wall repairs was absolutely terrible. Large decayed holes in plaster, door jams needed replacing.
Bedding was too small for mattress, and so thin and dirty looking. Appeared clean but slept in our clothing. Will not return or recommend until improved.

My son and I stayed here because hotels in town were sold out for a long weekend. My standards are not that high, but a hotel room should be clean no matter how low the price is. This room was gross. It was dirty and it smelled bad. Ledges of tiling and behind the toilet look like they haven’t been cleaned in a year. There’s a reason they make you pay upfront.

Clean room. Helpful staff. Continental breakfast was ok after asking about items not stocked. They didn’t pay attention to being stocked and seemed irritated when asked,

Parking was really tight. We had to ask people that were socializing to move so we could park.

I believe people were living there (which is fine), but they did not keep their areas clean for overnight guests. We could hear them partying outside.

There was a homeless person going through the trash looking for bottles and cans.

We booked this stay on the Expedia website (non refundable). Expedia’s site listed this property with a swimming pool. The front desk clerk said there hasn’t been a pool there for years. The room is now used to store furniture.
Overall the accommodation is outdated.
We requested a room back away from the hiway and were accommodated. There is a lot of traffic noise.
There were some work crews staying there, which could be a good fit; cheap basic accommodation. But as a vacation destination, this place falls short.
The “Kamloops” magazine in the room also lists this place WITH a swimming pool. THERE IS NO SWIMMING POOL!

Tap in bathtub wouldn’t turn off; I wouldn’t even tough the stair railings, they were so dirty. Holes in walls, torn wallpaper. A/C unit was so loud that it shook the bed.

Continental breakfast was a joke - no fruit, no yogurt- just bread for toast and 3 choices of cereal. Coffee was in the tiniest carafe, and tasted like tar.

The staff, however, were lovely; easy check in, friendly staff. Easy to park, easy checkout. The staff were the only good thing about my stay, sadly.

The lady we encountered at check in was lovely. The room however was not great. There were missing tiles in the bathroom, wallpaper in the main area that had been ripped off and not replaced, black/dirty finger prints on the inside of the door, which didn't close tightly. You could lock it but still see light from outside. The plug in the tub didn't work so it filled as you showered. There was no hairdryer. A positive was the bed, it was comfortable.

Parking was okay. I understand this is a budget hotel but it definately needs some better cleaning and some tlc. The towel bar, and toilet were broken. The bathtub needed a good deep cleaning and overall the property is in need of some updating. The \"breakfast\" was very basic and the coffee was cold. When I told the front desk that everything was enpty and the coffee was cold they said the coffee maker was broken.

We had a room with a queen bed and there was a separate room the mat had a king bed. We chose to sleep in the room with the king bed. The bed was terrible. It sunk down in the middle. Also only one lamp which was on the far side of the room no other lights. The bed in the main area was weird because there was only one chair to sit on, so you had to sit in the bed to watch tv. One side table by the far side of the bed but no lamp. Breakfast was ok, had to ask for more yogurt, had to ask for more coffee, the garbage can was overflowing and one worker came and put her in the cereal container and then wiped up some that fell and put it back in the top. Nobody moved the coffee jug over once it was filled,I had to. Nobody checking on the breakfast. Also breakfast is from 7-9 on the weekend. Usually it’s till 10:00 on weekends. The room we were in, top floor, the room started shaking at 9:00am, we think it was the laundry room for the hotel that was spinning and shaking our room.

Most disgusting room I've ever been in. Sink, bed, microwave, luggage stand all were dirty. The carpet was covered in stains. This place made my skin crawl. Outside there were cigarette butte containers everywhere. It stunk. I left within 10 minutes. I did get a full refund.

Booked the room late in evening checked with staff by calling before and late checkin was ok but was not informed that was not able to pay. Security deposit is cash (even offer d up to $600 cash) so when got to hotel was to can't stay and even tho prepaid for room thru Expedia was told no. And to deal with Expedia to try and get refunded for the room... Was a good thing KINGS MOTEL next door was able to take us that time of the nite .. staff was rude about the whole ordeal.. and now have to wait up to 10days to get refunded by Expedia for the stay we booked and paid for ...

My brother and I stayed Sat April 4. My brothers toilet was discussing like it was not cleaned for quite awhile. It took sometime to set up for his TV to work, get channels. There was no breakfast. Toast and coffee. I would not recommend this place nor would I stay here again.

The mattress looked like someone had slept on it, when I was changing clothes the housekeeper came into the room and I was shocked. The toilet was dirty, it seemed like the room was not cleaned after the guests checked out. I was very disappointed staying at this motel. Cleanliness is number one for staying overnight in a motel or hotel.
