Rooms were ok and clean. Not quite as nice as pics but were ok. Fridge was old but still worked pretty good. The TV was modern but the remote didn’t let you use all the options, like streaming, ie: YouTube, Netflix, etc. parking lot area was absolutely disgusting. Behind the building was tons of garbage spread through the brush and I believe a homeless person lived in it. Sad to look out your window and see that. The first staff we met was very nice however the midnight staff was very distant and almost rude.

I booked this room on Expedia and received confirmation in the morning of my reservation.
At 6 PM I went to check in and was told my reservation was canceled. Of course, all they had were the Jacuzzi rooms which were more than double the price that I was quoted.
I had to call several hotels to find one that had a room.
I had an event that I had to be at at 8 PM and had to really scramble and was very stressed afterward.

Room was dirty. Hair all over in the shower. Stunk really bad. outside was a dump and no lightening at night. Not even the sign was lit up. Service was terrible guy could hardly talk he was so stoned. stayed one night and went somewhere else. But was still charged for 2 days. Was not going to try and reason with a manager that was incoherent. absolutely terrible!

This was complete false advertising. I I don’t know how they made their website looks so nice. We went there to check in and decided not to stay. We were there fishing and we have a lot of expensive gear that I’m pretty sure would’ve gotten stolen. We talked to the front desk and explained our concerns. Mike agreed we could leave without paying the minimum one night stay. As of now there is a charge on my credit card. That better go away.

The staff were helpful and kind. But I feel the overall condition of the place has gone down a bit. First they gave us a key to a room someone was already occupying, however it was due to booking through a third party so (not necessarily the staff fault), then the top latch on the door in our second room did not work, the room wasn’t cleaned appropriately/ trash still in the ice bucket and the bathroom was a little gross as well as some other small things, and lastly the toilet broke twice and needed maintenance while there for our two night stay. But overall I am not picky and understand it is a cheaper hotel. I would like to add however the pool is and has always been amazing, very clean and up-kept.

The guy at the front desk kept on guy’s license had to chase him down double charged me my deposit I had to call to get my deposit returned Eight days after I was there.

At check in and per in room notice, we were to receive fresh towels and trash pickup every day. Linens were to be changed every 3rd day. We stayed 7 days. Our linens were never changed and we had ask every day for towels and Trash pickup. Twice we dumped our own trash. Once when my husband asked the man cleaning rooms for towels he was told angrily that we weren't on the list. Husband went to front desk to ask and no one was there. He found someone in the laundry room who literally yelled at him. The young ladies who checked us in and out were very pleasant and helpful but nicest and most helpful employee was the maintenance man

Do not stay here! Does not feel safe! The hotel is down a long industrial park road past a burned out, abandoned Burger King. Absolutely surrounded by weed dispensaries… we counted 12. The entire place smells like weed inside- lobby, rooms, parking lot, etc. Nobody was ever at the front desk- you had to call a phone number to get people to show up, and when they did they were either extremely high or extremely rude. Multiple people were yelling and arguing outside of our room at 1am and I believe employees were part of the screaming match. Did not feel safe to open the door or call the front desk. It lasted for 45 min and I had to wedge my ironing board between a wall and the door to make sure people didn’t bust in during the fight. I tried to switch hotels, but there were no open rooms anywhere else bc of a soccer tournament and we had no other option. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or at risk of being in a dangerous situation. It was terrible. Slept with one eye open. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

What a poor showing for Baymont

It took us over 30 minutes for someone to come to the desk for us to check in. When he came to he desk he was not in a very good mood. He was short and snapious with us. we are senior citizens and there was nothing on the web site about no elevator in the building. we were put on the top floor. We struggled with our suitcases. The hands rails are so sticking that you didn't want to use them. I will never prepay for a room again. I was to afraid to ask for a refund. The next morning we're going to breakfast and the man was overseeing it. Again his mood was not good. He did mumble the F word several times and everyone noticed. Some of the machines didn't work. We never went back for breakfast.
Halls were dirty, never once in the four days did our room get waste baskets emptied, dirty towels picked up or fresh towels delivered. I feel that we were cheated for what we paided

The first thing was the musty smell in the room.. the floor around the hot tub was warp you could tell the tub had leak previously.. the room door was also warp you could see the light coming from the hallway and the smell of marijuana in the hall was unbelievable..I understand that the hotel was trying to go green or eco friendly the sign said that they changed the bed sheets every 3 days but we were there from Tues-Sun and never once saw house keeping until we left.. the jets for the hot tub didn’t work so we couldn’t use it..We were definitely not impressed we have stayed at other Wyndham hotels and have never disappointed us.. If we ever get back to Michigan we definitely will find a different hotel to stay.. I didn’t take pictures our suite was 115 please check it out for safety reasons (floor) especially around the hot tub Thank you

Checked in during Power Tour. They only had one young lady at the front desk. No fault of hers but I waited 45 minutes in line to get checked. Had to pay an additional 100$ for safety deposit at time of check in. Finally got checked in and on the way to our room, other guest staying there informed us of bugs in the room. We tore apart the room and sure enough under one mattress was crawling bugs. After a google search determined it was bed bugs and there was shells of bed bugs under the beds that clearly had not been cleaned up in many stays. We left and politely told the young lady at the front desk we were not staying due to conditions and ask for a refund. We also had pictures and videos of the bugs. She stated no problem money would be refunded. Long story short week later I had to make a claim with my credit card company to try and get the charge taken off. The deposit and room charge is still there. The day we left I know of three other people that left due to bugs as well. Hate to leave a review bad of any kind but after my experience avoid this hotel if possible.

HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN?

The lobby was full of people. It took an hour to check the 4 people in front of me in. While finally at the counter, my daughter started checking reviews for similar problems. She found several recent reviews for bedbugs. When I got the room keys I told my daughter to wait in the lobby while I checked the room for cleanliness. When I pulled up the sheets there was blood stains from bedbugs. I walked directly back to the lobby and placed the keys on the counter. I said I an not staying here, there is recent evidence of bedbugs and left. I never stayed in the room. I want a full refund. I have pictures of the blood on the mattress. While looking for a new hotel my daughter read the online reviews. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL OPEN?

I was in town for a traveling car show. When the show was over i was looking foward to my hotel. The problem was i coundnt find it. A very dark area with no streetlights. The only lighting came from the 7 Marijuana superstores in that immediate area. On my fifth trip by the area I finally found a small unlit sign for baymont. When I pulled in to check in I told the lady.The sign on the main highway is not lit and hard to see her response is.We are sold out and have no rooms, but she would tell the owner the sign should be on. I asked her. Don't you want the people who are registered to be able to find the place? And once again she replied, we are sold out.

Paid for the room upfront through Expedia. Arrived, was made to pay an $100 deposit at check in that was never mentioned on any part of Expedia’s website. The lady at the desk was super rude, and acted like she was annoyed to even check me in. I proceed to give her my card for deposit. She then charges me again for the room, not deposit, then runs my card for $120, not $100. Now I have to wait 3-5 business days to get the money back I was wrongfully charged for, and also for a security deposit that was never mentioned on the Expedia website that was due at time if stay.

Exactly what was expected for the price in this area. This is not a 5 star hotel but easy connection to the freeway and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The rooms are not as quiet because it’s right next to the freeway (try to get an inside room) but the hotel itself and staff are quiet and accommodating. The parking lot could use more lighting. Overall, safe and easy access to come and go.

Date of stay. Feb 14 15 16 it snowed here in southern Michigan 2” parking lot was plowed once over the 3 days. Very little salt was used. Hazardous! Don't really expect much at this price point and got pretty much what I expected. The bed was comfy and I slept well, which is the whole point I suppose. I regularly stay in rooms on the same level and am more often than not, pleasantly surprised. Not so much this time. Most of my rooms have a little coffee maker, not here. The breakfast options were not appealing at all, even expecting waffles and bagels and such. The coffee wasn't so good either. The worst part was the whole place has laminate flooring and very few mats, including none in the room. Probably fine most of the time but when you track in snow, you get puddles all over the place. TV was maybe 22\" at most. The staff I spoke to were quite nice.

The photo(s) of the gym are not an accurate representation of the gym provided by facility. The treadmill doesn’t/didnt even work. The other two pieces of equipment were horribly old/outdated. The gym was as small as a walk in closet. I did not like how I had to go check out a separate key to use the facility instead of my room key just letting me in.

The ceiling in my room had multiple dark brown water stains.

The door to exit the building SLAMS very hard and loud. So much so that I could hear it in my second floor room… ALL night.

The windows were extremely gross. All kinds of cobwebs and debris in/on/around them.

Bed sounds and feels like a prison bed.

When I spoke with the manager he said he would simply have the room cleaned. That was the only time the room was cleaned the entire time with me personally asking the cleaning staff to come to my room.

Pre check not worth it

Only problem was pre check in i did it thought it would help. It asked dor a deposit. I gave it . Then whwn i got hotel it didnt show up i had to go to atm it counted against my discover card but not credited at the desk. Woll never pre check again. Philip Dunn
