Bra frukost och trevlig personal. Bra aktivitetslounge men synd att det var svårt att få tag i någon att beställa av i baren och att det inte fanns komplett piluppsättning för dart. Hade bokat två rum för två nätter. I det rum som min dotter och hennes sambo hade var det omöjligt att sova ordentligt natten mellan lördag och söndag. Olyckligt att det inte gavs någon förvarning om det.

Otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam personal! Rummet var också rymligt och funkade bra för två personer inkl. soffa att sitta i.
Dock märkligt dåligt med möjligheter att hänga saker. En skjorta gick skapligt att hänga på galge, men för en klänning fanns ingen plats - särskilt inte så här års när man har mycket ytterkläder. Det fanns heller ingenstans att hänga handdukar i badrummet. Det fanns en enda krok, på badrumsdörren, och annars endast väggarna till duschkabinen.
Duschkabinen gick inte heller att stänga helt, så det blev väldigt blött på golvet när nån duschade, särskilt som vi inte lyckades förstå hur man skulle få vatten i handduschen, så det kom bara från takduschen.
Men allt som allt ändå ett trevligt besök.

What a fantastic stay in this hotel. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were always greeted with friendly, helpful staff, whether it be answering our queries or just saying a friendly hello as we passed. The services offered were amazing- free tea, coffee, cold water and fruit and the breakfast catered for all tastes.

Trevligt besök i Falun!

Hej!
Vi inkl. hunden är mycket nöjda med vår övernattning. Bra service vid incheckningen då jag missat att meddela att en hund finns med samt centralt läge. Hann med ett mycket trevligt besök på Dalarnas museum för mig som hållit på Leksands IF i hockeyn sedan mitten av 70-talet.

The hotel was worn down, dirty and out dated. We were there in July and the hotel didn’t have AC and it was miserable. The rooms were probably over 90 degrees and so was the common areas. The service was friendly but extremely slow.

Bodde här nyligen och har lite blandade intryck. På det stora hela var vistelsen bra – hotellets läge är toppen, nära till allt, och tjejerna i receptionen var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma. Rummet var fint och duschtrycket får verkligen full pott – bästa jag varit med om på hotell!

Men några saker drog ner upplevelsen:
Rummet låg väldigt långt bort, nästan som att gå ett maraton efter en lång dag. Parkeringen var dessutom sjukt dyr, vilket kändes onödigt snålt. En annan sak som gav dålig smak var klisterlapparna på spegeln med hot om att bli debiterad om man ”tar deras Rituals-produkter” – känns inte så välkomnande att bli misstänkt för att sno något. Och de där produkterna var dessutom inget att hurra för – torkade ut både hud och hår.

Bastun verkar fortfarande inte klar och restaurangen var tyvärr stängd under vår vistelse, vilket var trist. Frukosten var helt okej, men avsaknaden av gravad lax tog bort den där lilla känslan av lyx man gärna vill ha på hotell.

Sammanfattningsvis: många fina delar – men några missar som drar ner helhetsintrycket.

A hotel as it should be

It’s an older hotel, but the interiors have been renovated. My room was quite spacious and included a sofa seating area. It had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfy!

I especially appreciated the entrance area of the room, where there was a bench designed for multiple purposes — a clever touch.

Summer has just begun in Sweden, and the room was a bit warm. I found myself sweating at night due to the thick and cozy duvets. An air conditioner would have made a big difference.

Unfortunately, water from the shower leaked into the toilet area. It dried up after a day, but the large gap beneath the glass wall caused the issue.

Overall, I would definitely return! It was a pleasant stay with a wonderful breakfast selection and a lovely seating area.

Everything was excellent with the exception of the noise that the very heavy doors to the roommate as people were coming back in at night the walls would shake and the noise would be like someone slamming doors. This went on for about an hour repeatedly. Otherwise the staff was wonderful the accommodations were great the breakfast was one of the best ever and they had other options for playing pool and shuffleboard they had a bar and a dining room as well as a small area at reception if you wanted drinks and snacks as well. It had a great location within walking distance of several restaurants and stores

The hotel is in a good location and was easy to find. Parking was challenging. Breakfast very good and we enjoyed drinks in the bar. Rooms are a little run down, lights burned out, etc, but we had a pretty good night's sleep. Was happy to make it to Falun and the outdoor mall area is very nice and close by.

Fick ett rum som var slitet och båda sängarna var helt utslitna. De liknade mer en hängmatta. Dessutom vad duschväggarna i glas helst lösa.

Vi fick ett nytt rum och de sängarna var riktigt sköna. Rummet var okej men badrummet behöver renoveras.
