I’m from a pretty big city a lot bigger than Tifton Ga and I’ve seen a lot of nasty thing HOTELS being one of the worst things I’ve seen but and I thought I’d seen it all I WAS TERRIBLY WRONG. It was so bad I had to change rooms 4 Times for a 1 night stay and was basically forced to stay because they refused a refund by the way the refund was requested after the first room. I want to say more but I’m choosing not too because I’m going higher than this and if I say everything now they’ll make sure everything is cleaned before the big guys get there

One side of the hotel is used for delinquent housing. Police were called when neighbors were fighting. The pool was half full with dirty black smelly water and a closed sign on the gate. I was not allowed to eat breakfast because I got a low rate on line which anyone can get. Parking lot was used as a overnight parking and transfer spot for immigrant workers loading and unloading mellons. Very noisy.

This is by far the worst hotel I've ever been to in My Life. They have bed bugs them big cockroaches. The towels was dirty the sheets on the bed was dirty. The tub was dirty then when you complained about it they didn't want to do anything about everything that I just mentioned. The housekeeper attitude was horrible the maintenance man attitude. Is even more worse than hers and on top of that the owner of the establishment has a bad attitude. Attitudes reflect leadership the only thing that was good at this place was the young man that was up front.

First room was not clean and toilet flooded room. Second room A/C did not work properly. Breakfast bar was so skimpy as to not even apply as breakfast. Pool out of order and has been for a long time. Closed by county and no attemp to fix was visible as the water was brackish.

Shower handle was not attached. Barely able to get Shower to work. Toilet would not flush,ran water all night. Had to take tank lid off and push down flapper.

This place is very run down. We only stayed because we were exhausted from driving the last two days. I would NOT recommend this hotel. The only thing good was we didn’t see any bugs. Paint was peeling, towel bar off the wall. Cold water tap in shower was broken.

We decided to stay here because of location and decent pricing. While checking in I had my service dog with me and the puppy we have in training, when showing the front office their paperwork and explaining what the paperwork is for, the person manning the front desk looked me dead in the eyes and said “what’s wrong with you?” I said “excuse me?” He asked me again, “medically what is wrong with you?” I told him that wasn’t his role to ask that and it’s actually against the law. He then proceeded to attempt to charge me for the S.D. Fast forward, the room was clean but the property was not. There was trash all over the property and spilling out of all of the trashcans.

Staff needs to be educated on laws which pertain to service animals.

This place was exactly what was expected - comfortable, clean, inexpensive, and convenient to a meeting location for my group. I wasn't looking for a Four Seasons. The only gripe is that they don't offer the DIY Brussels-style Belgian waffles that so many other Super8s have (minus one star). The little waffles in the breakfast area fridge were OK after being warmed up. I'd stay here again and again.

Had cereal but no milk, no juice nothing but coffee for Breakfast advertised. Our room floor hadn’t been swept. Bath tub disgusting. Coffee cups in room had all plastic covering off (reusing) from previous guests! Sugar /creamer packets were torn open! TV was a joke 6 channels came in.
Outside by ice machine smelled of pee and trash everywhere!

We lost our home in hurricane helene and Valdosta had no more available hotels I booked this super 8 because the previous night i stayed at the 1 in Valdosta but it was not comparable! When we first arrived to room 136 we ran into a filty toilet with poop and tissue still in front desk moved us to 130 This room had a working toilet but reeked of cigarette and Marijuana smoke mind you we were told it was a non smoking room it was just filthy.food left behind from last customers floors dirtly everything dusty I said ok we will make do just for tonight. We literally had no choice we had already driven an hour. The worse part came around 9pm loud music was being blasted from cars car engines being revved like a party was going on. I just turned the tv up and tried to ignore it but soon it was after midnight with no sign of peace in sight. I soon called the front desk and ask could he ask them to quiet down a little but he was more concerned with what room i was in instead of just walking around and telling them they disturbing other guests i made him aware i would contact local law enforcement if it didnt stop soon. It last for about another hour. I have stayed in low budget hotels before but atleast they were somewhat clean DO NOT STAY HERE it is filthy unsafe for elderly and kids and online picture are not updated pictures believe every bad review!

Didn’t expect much for the price but was a little disappointed wven so. Beds were comfortable room was run down, toilet ran, seat was broken and rhe air exchanger was filthy. Says it has breakfast included - not even. The juice machine was out of order, bagels were stale, cream cheese was not refrigerated. They had 2 cereal dispensers, no milk.

We liked that they are pet friendly and good food at walking distance, but the room, bathroom, toilets are dirty lucky we always travel with disinfectant spray, the floor must have not been mop and the pool is closed(no water) you can tell hasn't been opened for a long time. In conclusion it's poorly maintained.

Sink leaked water on the floor, but I got a bucket to catch the water and was told they'd fix the pipes the next day. And the room stunk and overall was not clean. Hair on the bathroom floor and dead bugs elsewhere. Maybe that was bug spray I was smelling. They did offer me to exchange rooms but all my stuff was in the room already and I was dead tired and wasn't in the mood to move. Went to sleep, never showered or anything but got some sleep. Woke up, left to never return and will get a shower at Holiday Inn Express which is my next stop. And another gentleman asked me if I needed some company because he could help me out (for those who can't figure that out, it means hooker).

The deck clerk had a thick accent and was difficult to understand. In the room, missing lightbulb, an outlet that didn't have power, gnats in the sink, the sink was very slow draining, towels on the bathroom floor, there was a stale smell in the room, the desk chair was broken, there was no clock in the room, no TV listing, no waste basket in the room, no pen and paper, the carpet in front of the refrigerator was wet, the carpet had a stain and an iron burn. The commode had heavy hard water stains. The only working ice machine was on the first floor. The one on the second floor was not working. Water standing in the parking lot. Late April stay and the pool was dirting and not in use. The staff did bring clean towels, a light bulb, and a waste basket when requested.

Worse Service Ever

As soon as the desk clerk saw me I felt he judged me for the color of my skin and the clothes I was wearing which were jogging pants, shirt and a skully. I like to be comfortable when driving a long distance. Before the desk clerk assigned me a room in the back I asked are there any rooms available in the front. The desk clerk replied no. I was only staying a few days not a week. I drove in the back and didn't like the surroundings. I drove back to the front and asked the desk clerk when will a room in the front be available. He replied it'd be $5 extra a day but ended up being $57. I've never had to pay extra if the room I reserved wasn't available. I always reserve the room with a king size bed. The desk clerk assigned me the last room at the end thou other rooms closer to the office were available. All the lamp shades are missing the screws on top. There was a drink left inside the refrigerator. There was no microwave in the room. There were only coffee cups. There's a coffee maker with no coffee pitcher. I will not be staying here again.

Worst night sleep in my life

I reserved a single king size bed, with access to a swimming pool. I was given a double queen room, the pool appeared to been inoperable since 2012. The sink in my room has been leaking for who knows how long, carpet was drenched, toilet when flushed had water leaking around the bottom as if there was no wax ring. The shower curtain had holes the size of my torso in a couple places, not to mention water spraying out all over the bathroom floor around the shower head. I stayed overnight and immediately went to the front desk in the morning after 4 hrs of sleep waking up to a chirping smoke detector in my room. It started chirping at 4 am every minute. Due to the smoke detector having a cage around it not allowing me to replace the battery. I asked to cancel remaining stay and asked for a refund. They refused on full refund so I paid for the worst night sleep I have ever had in my entire 43 year life! All I have is videos of the sink draining onto the carpet. Not dripping! It was simply draining.

I am in the tafton Georgia. The motel 8 is like motel 1. Out of all the lights only one works. The shower to switch between the facet and spray is broken, I ended up wiping the flor since it was wet,......and these are the pluses. The door to the bathro was half broken and i ended up opening the curtain to get some light in.......

Dirty Roach Motel! Stay Away!

Location of this hotel is convenient but other than that, STAY AWAY! Sanitation and cleanliness is not a priority at this property. A/C never cooled although it was set to 60F and on constant fan. Towels and bed sheets had stains and pieces of hair. The room smelled of stale cigarettes and mold and the paint was peeling from the ceiling and walls. We found a used soap in the soap holder and dry blood on and around the toilet so you know this wasn't cleaned properly. Come night time, we got up to use the bathroom and small roaches scattered in all directions around the bathroom. TV and almost all the lights in the room didn't work. This was an embarrassment of a property to have my family stay at.

Staff were very nice. Our first room had no working Air Conditioner, so they moved us. The second room had no working TV. The bathrooms in both had black mold growing in the tub areas and on the ceiling. We woke up to find bed bugs crawling on our pillows. We left without taking a shower. This place is by far the nastiest hotel we have ever stayed in, period. They should be closed down.

Would not recommend this place. The staff that checked us in was great but rooms were not. The shower from above us leaked in room. There was mold in the room, beds were uncomfortable. We asked for extra pillow and he said it would be delivered but never was.
When we checked out we told staff (different from the night before) and he did not even acknowledge what we said or apologize for the leak.
