It was absolutely fine sleep except for the bed was horrible and the worst part was the TV did not work. You had to pay if you wanted to watch TV the channels that were not pay would have times that they would cut out about every 30 seconds for 30 seconds to five minutes I couldn’t even watch TV and I just wanted to relax a waste of my money

Clean room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. What could have been better would be more bath towels, there were only 2 in the bathroom, not enough for 2 people for 2 nights. Housekeeping only restocks every 3rd day of stay so we had to ask at front desk for more. Also indoor pool was very cold for February, warmer would have been nicer.

The young man who checked us in was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean but there was a horrible smell in the first room. So they moved us to a different room that smelled better but clearly like cigarette smoke. It is a non-smoking hotel ... the breakfast was ok and the coffee surprisingly good.

It was clean, so that was nice. No elevators was not great though - I was booked on the second floor. But the staff was nice, friendly and very helpful, both late night and morning staff. Overall decent especially for the price.

Please don’t take this as negative feedback, but as some constructive criticism and general suggestions. The lobby was not very clean. Carpets needed a good cleaning and vacuuming. The room was in need of some basic maintenance. Loose knobs on cabinets, the calk in the bathroom could be redone, etc. I’m sure maintenance on a large property is never ending. Again, I’m not trying to sound negative or nitpicking, just wanted to share some suggestions.

The beds were super comfortable, staff was friendly, and was by far our favorite place to stay during our vacation. Just to give you some info, there were some men by the back door drinking and they left beer cans and trash by the little shed in the back. We picked it all up and threw it away. We were treated so well, we just didn't understand why people can't use the garbage. Just letting you know. Especially in such a beautiful place. Thank you again, you made our vacation wonderful!

Got no sleep because the mattress was so uncomfortable. Hallway/stairway was in desperate need of vacuuming. Coffee was horrific, it literally tasted like nothing but cardboard. I would not stay here again.

Location was good. It wasn’t dirty, just the bathroom toilet was very low, turning on heat/air smelt really bad and didn’t have a cover over radiator coils. Walls are very thin, heard the neighbors phone ringing and thought it was in my room. Pool was nice and clean, complimentary breakfast was good.

Only booked for somewhere to sleep but even at that it was not great. Literally only spent about 8 hours total here and the cost was super high but that's expected for the area. Door to room was open (not shut/locked) upon arrival. Worn, unclean carpets. Hair on the sheets. Had a musty smell. If it wasn't already 9pm when we checked in and we already paid nearly $300 for the room we would've gone elsewhere.

Parking was close to outside door to our room so that was convenient. Hot tub must not be used often because it kept turning off so we didn't stay in long. Had some interactions with other guests that didn't make us feel safe staying at that hotel although the staff themselves were very friendly. Had that interaction with guest turned worse, I doubt anyone would have been able to assist.

Staff was great. We had a little trouble with the TV for the remote and let the desk clerk know. He was there in minutes and got in going again and gave us some search tips for using the channel guide. Deep Water Grille was a nice walk, (7 blocks one way) and good food. Enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom was not very clean. Shower nozzle was broken - you could pull it to let the water flow, but it spun around freely, so you could not adjust the temperature. We got cold showers the first day, luke warm showers the second day, and almost scalding hot showers the final day. We reported this to the front desk, and they said they would report it to maintenance, but nothing was repaired while we were there.
Room temperature was not satisfactory - it was too warm all weekend. We set the thermostat to 60 degrees - it felt like mid-high 70's all weekend. Also reported this to the front desk - nothing changed.
Television offered a variety of channels - however, when we tried various channels, movie channels, etc., it would ask for a PIN. Very frustrating.
Breakfast the first day - no sausage, no sausage gravy at 9:15 a.m. Still 15 minutes to go, and no refills. The gravy looked like it had been empty for much longer than 15 minutes.

We were two friends coming to Ashland for a funeral. The booking screen said, \"Studio suite,1 King bed, Sofa bed, top floor\". (I took a screen shot.)
I sent, in the request, \"One description said there a was a sleeper sofa in the suite, but in the property details, it does not list the sofa. We need two sleeping areas. Please put us in a room away from traffic noise. Thank you!)
When arrived on 8/22, the gentleman gave us a ground floor unit. I said, no, we had a top floor suite. He accommodated us and put us in a top floor corner suite.
I was disappointed to see a vinyl \"futon\" as my sleeper sofa. I had to go back down to request linens and blanket as there were none. It was a rotten sleep as there was a bar down the middle of the fold down bed where the two sections met. Too slender to sleep on one side or the other. VERY uncomfortable sleep!
When I mentioned this at checkout, I was told the sleeper sofas \"were on order\". I said it should not have been advertised as such and we should have been charged as a single \"king bed\" room. Not at all impressed with the suite and the overpriced room.

This Super 8 is more of a hotel rather than motel. Very clean, staff is friendly, and breakfast was excellent, you can make your own pancakes or waffles, and they offer a variety of bread, cereals, yogurt , or hard boiled eggs. The pool area is small but clean; I enjoyed the hot tub. It's not far from Bayfield ferry station, which took us to Madeline Island.

The manager that I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and kind. She took time last week to verify everything above my trip and helped me out immensely.

If for some reason you are able to give here a bonus for all that she did to put my mind at ease, as I feel she deserves it. She was very busy and helped me out and I really appreciate her time and attention and attitude. Many people are rushed when helping others but she is very people oriented. Kudos to her!

Not close to beach, does not have fitness center or provides access to any. Will not do house keeping unless you schedule 24 hours and even when we did they still didn’t clean room. Never had any towels available. Went 3 days without getting a towel. Breakfast ok, but area very small and not many options. Pool nice, but closes at 10 for kids, not midnight.
