The property was extremely comfortable, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and incredibly helpful, polite, friendly staff. The steam room was a wonderful treat after long days tramping around the city. The location in the Latin Quarter was ideal for eating, shopping and sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved this beautiful boutique hotel and would stay here again. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the staff were extremely helpful going over and above. The location was so close to major attractions (Notre Dame, the Seine River, Panteon, transportation (bus and subway), great shopping, markets and bakeries and cafes!

This is a small boutique hotel that has not been ruined by remodeling. The location is walking to most of the main sights. The breakfast was excellent. When my partner fell ill, they had a doctor to our room within an hour. You would have thought she was family with the concern they showed.

Residence Henri IV Hotel it is a wonderful hotel , small but with a lot of charm, very clean , and beautiful.
This hotel is located near Nostradamus Cathedral, Latin quarter , Pantheon,Luxembourg gardens and few minutes away from the museums .There are many restaurants close by , bakery shops and souvenirs stores ,also markets .and many churches .
The staff is very professional , friendly, and knowledgable in particular Qaisar, Anchor, Hichan, Flor and Jacquo.
Regarding to the breakfast buffet is excellent ( eggs , fresh fruit , chocolate , coffee , yogurt, a variety of cheeses , hams , breads , cereal , almond , etc ) .
The transportations : there are many ways to move around Paris : Uber , taxis , metro , train, big bus , bus , etc ,all of this very close to the hotel .
I just arrived from Paris we had had a marvelous time in Paris , thanks God and the Residence Henri IV .
I strongly recommend this beautiful hotel . 🕊

Boutique style hotel in the 5th Arondissement with I believe having just 14 cozy rooms total. The entire staff was great! Very friendly and informative when we had questions about the area and dining option recommendations. Close to transportation and in a safe area. Uniquely decorated rooms. Each has lots of charm and personality. Daily breakfast available (for a fee if it's not included in a package) with a cheerful and friendly staff member to assist when needed. If you're looking for personalized service in a unique environment, Hotel Residence Henri IV is definitely the way to go. We would definitely stay there again!

Visiting Europe/Paris for the first time as a couple, we did not know what to expect.

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. We did a lot of research and based on past reviews we chose Hotel Residence Henri IV.

Our experience was well beyond or expectations!

The hotel was spacious, beautiful and all staff there made our stay an special one!

We would highly recommend this hotel to all!

Location was perfect, away from the tourist crowds which allowed us to be Parisiennes for our entire stay.

It was located in a perfect area, not too busy with tourists traffic. But close to everything! Only concern was that it’s right next to the church that wakes you up with its bells, every half and hour bells. Especially ringing at 6:30 am for about two to three minutes long… other then the bells, I would come back here again.

A Wonderful Surprise!

It is a challenge to say how wonderfully surprised we were by our 5-day stay at Residence Henri IV. On this particular trip, we wanted to stay clear of 'our usual chains' so we could have a more culturally Parisian experience, and we were extremely fortunate to have found Residence Henri IV. The front desk staff went over the top to be friendly, helpful, and supportive. They could not have been better. Ditto the housekeeping staff - the rooms were spotlessly clean, and refreshed to that state every day. The Residence is located in the Latin Quarter and just down the street from interesting cafes, restaurants, and bars that were frequented by university students visiting, laughing, or reading books; all of these were within easy walking distance of the Residence in an area we felt very safe in late into the night. At the Residence, which is about 50 meters down a cul-de-sac from the main street, which is perfect since it leaves any street noise behind, you are also within walking distance of Notre Dame, Old Paris, and other interesting sites. The basement breakfast nook was very comfortable and well-stocked with full breakfast choices of salmon, fruit, breads, meats and cheeses, and juices and coffee. There is also a clean, modern, and very inviting steam room in the basement. The staff in all areas went over the top to be friendly and helpful. Our time at Residence Henri IV was, in all ways, a wonderfully pleasant and positive surprise.

We spent 2 weeks over the 2022-2023 Christmas-New Year’s holidays in Paris at the Résidence Henri IV in the 5th arrondissement (Latin Quarter). It was the perfect location for our visit.
Within three blocks:
•several boulangeries, pâtisseries and cafes. Be sure to try the “Best Baguette in Paris“ at La Parisien and meringue delights at Aux Merveilleux.
•Monop’ and Franprix stores
•two self-serve laundromats.
•The area felt more like a neighborhood and not so much a tourist area, yet close enough to the places we wanted to visit by walking or accessing through the Metro. Perfect really.
The reception staff is excellent. Many speak fluent English and the manager is truly exceptional.
The hotel is in a wonderful, walkable location. A 10-minute walk in one direction is the Pantheon and Jardin du Luxembourg; 10 minutes in another is the Seine, Notre Dame and Rue des Saint Germaine. Of course, there are Metros nearby.

For runners, the Jardin du Luxembourg is the place!

This hotel is the only place we will ever stay in Paris! It is quiet (never heard a footstep above us nor more than an occasional murmur from the room next to us. There are only 2 rooms on each floor with a total of 13 and on a very quiet, dead-end street so it is very quiet.
This was a bucket-list trip for us and the hotel and their staff made it perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A return stay at one of my favorite hotels in Paris. The service was excellent and I am glad to see the same staff from my last visit 3 years ago. The room with a balcony is an extra bonus. Spacious rooms for a Parisian hotel. Morning sun and a pleasant park next door so quite nights on the left bank. Breakfast is good for a hotel and available as room service. A spacious tub/show which is great for a soak if you walk extensively as I did.

Two metro stops within five minutes walk, with award winning boulangeries near each. Notre Dame is 6 minutes in one direction and the Pantheon 6 minutes in the other. A number of good restaurants are also within walking distance. Small with an attentive staff that keeps me coming back.

There's a market 1 block down, and a laundromat halfway down the next block. The rooms were clean, elegant, and had little balconies to sit out on. The staff was very courteous. Situated in a perfect place to walk to Notre Dame, Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens, Marais, Saint Chappell and the Louvre.
A, B and C train stations close by that would take you to Versailles, Disney or downtown.

Staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast is worth paying extra for. Pastries, cheese board and meats, yoghurt, coffee, OJ. Ask for a cappuccino.

Room is cozy with a nice shower/bath. Bed has heavy sheets with multiple pillow firmness. Grateful comfort for an afternoon nap or end of day collapse into bed with exhaustion.

USB charging by the bed.

Able to leave cases at the hotel prior to check in and after checkout so we were able to enjoy Paris without lugging them around.

Only downside was a balcony room could mean a table and two chairs on a balcony or a rail to lean against.

Beautiful small non-chain hotel located in a perfect location in Paris.

If you are like me and prefer a small, intimate, charming hotel, then this is one of the best bets in Paris. Each room is different with lots of character. Great location with short walk to Notre Dame, the Luxembourg, and Ile St. Louis. We have stayed here three or four times and look forward to returning on our next visit to Paris.

I absolutely fell in love with this charming hotel in the heart of a great neighborhood in Paris! The room was fantastic and had a cute little balcony. The furniture was comfy and the decor made you feel like you were in France. The staff was so nice and accommodating. The location was walking distance to nearly everything with metro and batobus nearby for going further out. And bonus!: there’s a great pop up market a block and a half away (not sure of days but at least Thurs and SAT) where you can buy fresh cheese and you hurt, fruits and veggies, honeys jams and mustard, chicken and fish and so much more. Also, can walk to cool cabaret club paradis Latin.

I have been going to Paris for many years..I have stayed at many different types of hotels.This hotel is so charming,so Parisian! It is tucked away off the main rue ecole..so quiet a nd just a pleasure to spend time there. My original room was a little small for me a nd Kzar immediately gave me another room that was wonderful! The staff was so attentive and helpful. Kzar was outstanding! He was so helpful and always had a smile on his face..I highly recommend this hotel it is a treasure! This lovely small hotel has a true elegant French flavor, not the cookie-cutter modern of most hotels these days. Our suite (#52) was comfortable and roomy, with a tiny kitchen area also! It was clean and had all we needed. The staff at Residence Henri IV is excellent--friendly and eager to be helpful. They offer guidance when asked and always a smiling face. What a quaint lovely charming hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter. Everything was wonderful, but the English speaking staff made the whole experience. They were so accommodating and friendly-it really was the trip of a lifetime for my wife and 2 kids. The rooms are cozy with comfortable beds, a small kitchenette with fridge/stove/microwave. The hotel location is literally perfect for exploring the best that Paris has to offer. Walking distance (5-10 min) to Notre Dame, the Seine, the Pantheon, the Louvre, St Etienne-du-mont, endless cafes and patisseries. Bicycle/scooter distance from everything else (Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Arch, Montemartre). The hotel is also tucked into a side street so unbelievable quiet with no street/traffic noise. This is our home when we come to Paris!!! See you next time!

Although in a historic neighborhood, my room was recently updated with a marble bathroom, vibrant furnishings, kitchenette (which permitted me to economize on overall food expenses instead of dining out for every meal), and private, top floor balcony. The front desk staff were highly professional and even gifted me with a complimentary bottle of wine. The hotel includes an elevator and central air, which can be hard to find in Paris in the summer.

I have a new favorite in Paris!

What a lovely gem of a hotel located in a great part of Paris for walking to the major sites, finding a wonderful meal and experiencing a unique property. The staff was always helpful, whether is was arranging transportation or suggesting restaurants. The suites were roomy and because the hotel is located at a dead end street, it is very quiet.

We had a really great stay at Hotel Residence Henri IV. We especially appreciated the concierge service - Qaisar was very responsive, helped arrange our airport transfer and even helped locate our lost luggage at the airport! As a family of 4 we shared the suite with separate bedroom and living room with pull-out sofa and it was plenty of space. The rooms are cleverly designed with a connecting hall that doubles as a kitchen, with microwave and mini-fridge. The bathroom is modernized with LED lighting and a nice shower. The area is very charming and perfectly located within the 5th arrondisement, just steps away from the Pantheon and Luxembourg gardens. I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay in Paris

We just returned from a wonderful seven day visit to Paris during which time we stayed at the Hotel Residence Henri IV. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice having been recently renovated. The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms had all the amenities that we required. The hotel location for us was perfect being in the Latin quarter within easy walking distance of many sites and of course the metro stations. There are a large number of excellent restaurants in the neighborhood within easy walking distance. The hotel for us was a perfect choice and we have absolutely no regrets. I would emphasize how wonderful the staff was and how comfortable the hotel is. In addition the hotel location on a cul-de-sac made it quite quiet and we had no problem with street noise. Overall, we would highly recommend the Hotel Residence Henri IV.

Location is superb, you can walk anywhere. Small, quaint hotel tucked in the back of a building, of Rue des Ecoles. Very quiet area, which for Paris hotels is a great plus. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Would stay again.

We have stayed at this property twice and we just love it. The staff is warm and helpful and the rooms are lovely. We like the location just a short walk from Nortre Dame. Lots of restaurants nearby. We will be back!
