Bad Hotel customer service at Fredrico palace Enna

Very unfriendly receptionist. After long drive to get there we were treated badly. We asked for information about sightseeing in Enna and were bluntly told they had none. They told us nothing about facilities at the hotel and just handed us keys to the room. It was an empty hotel and they gave us room under their kitchen which was noisy and kept us awake for the two nights we were there. We asked to speak with the manger to complain but never got a response from him. Breakfast was poor as we could not even get eggs as they said there was none left. I would not recommend this hotel if you want good customer service they have no idea how to treat their guests well! The shower has black mould all around the base and was not clean. This hotel spoilt our trip to Sicily!

Enjoyed our stay

We’re there for one night and it is a first class hotel. Just out of town with a beautiful view of the countryside. Lovely large room with a great bed and English tv channels. Only downside was we could barely hear the person next door snoring. Too bad but not loud enough to bother us.

This is a nice hotel in adjoining town

This is very nice hotel with a terrible entrance road -- summer and fall OK but it could be treacherous in spring and winter with rain and possible frost. Italian gps has no clue where this hotel is located but once in town the hotel signs are OK -- GPS put us on back road and then told us no vehicle entry is possible (Yep -- just farm fields). Exiting the hotel property is also an experience which GPS actually has correct -- through apartment residential area and to main road. There is on site parking but understand it is at the mercy of Italian drivers willingness to park _\"anywhere close to the hotel door\"

The hotel is great -- excellent breakfast, wonderful accommodations, and friendly and helpful staff. Kudos to staff. Taxi ride to town was no problem.

Not recommended for holiday stays

A moderately large hotel located below the town of Enna. It primarily caters for conferences and coaches. There is nothing wrong with the decor or facilities, it is like many business hotels around the world. However the service does not match the 4* label this hotel has awarded itself. The front desk did not speak English particularly well. The bar had no staff at 9pm, we had to request someone to come to the bar. At 9am (breakfast was served from 7am to 10am), we were the only people in the large restaurant. We had to sit as far away as you could possibly sit from the breakfast buffet. Someone had turned off the heaters for bacon and scrambled egg, it was cold. Coffee was served out of an automated machine. The few staff that were there were re-arranging the dining hall during breakfast. Unless you are arriving here in a large group, or on business, I recommend avoiding this hotel. It is certainly not 4*, I would struggle to give it a 3* rating. The front of the hotel was a ploughed field. The rear of the hotel is also a ploughed field. There is nothing nearby unless you have a car or use a taxi.

4 start hotel in the countryside

When we ordered on the net we were not notified about the electricity cut that started on the other day from 9AM. We were told of that at check-in time but of course we didn't try to cancel and look for another place of course. Hotel has great pool and parking, but there is a very small plate on the road at the narrow road that leads to the hotel. Breakfast surprisingly poor quality. Service is good. Room was spacious and view was great from it including a bit dirty balcon.

Great 4* hotel

We stayed here for my wifes 50th birthday because it had a spa. The hotel was comfortable and clean although the room was extremely hot (we couldn't turn the heating down) and was noisy due to a convention going on. The spa was disappointing as it was very expensive and we even had to pay to use the pool and buy swimming hats! The staff were friendly and the room was large and clean. The dining area was spacious and the breakfast was good.

Huge room and balcony

Arrived midday to store luggage but was able to check in early. Huge room and balcony. Beautiful pool but only open in Summer - ridiculous as it was twenty eight degrees (mid September). Hotel is primarily geared for conventions and weddings rather than foreign tourists. Took ages to get a taxi into town. Bit a very comfortable place to stay.

Lovely stay

Stayed here for one night only during a recent trip to Sicily. We missed the turning, but managed to turn around and go back again, down a small road. Hotel is very large and grand with ample parking. Took a while to check in as there was a group checking in before us and there was only one person on the reception desk. When we did check in there was not a lot of information given; we had to ask what time facilities were open and breakfast served etc. Room was large with balcony. Nice bathroom with complimentary toiletries. We ate in the hotel restaurant as the it is a drive away from Enna. There were only two other people in the restaurant while we were there. Lots of choice at breakfast. Nice staff. Had problem with the wi-fi in our room, but ok in reception. Overall a nice stay and would use hotel again. We had a slight problem trying to find our way out from the hotel, as we didn't have GPS.

Wonderful Hotel

It was like being in the hotel in the movie the Grand Budapest Hotel. This hotel is very well maintained with fine hardwoods and stylish furnishings. The setting is in a wheat field looking back at the mountains and city.
Quite and Peaceful yet very near town if you have a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Graet Building - From outside

From a distance the hotel looks grand. Trying to get to it is fun. Miss the tiny sign directing you down a track and you have to start again. Leaving is even more fun. A 5 minute drive through the local housing estate. Reception was poor. No info offered, no PR. Just here is your key! rooms are big, but sparce. Hotel is very comftable and in a quiet location and has got some good views. Just felt a bit as if it had been designed by someone who has never been to a hotel. If you need a hotel in this are, it is good value. Just don't be expecting a great reception

Excellent relaxing hotel

We arrived very late but the staff still found time to cook us dinner, and no stops were spared. The food and presentation were excellent. The views from the hotel room are lovely. The only downside, and no fault of the hotel is its location. You do need a car to get there. But it is a total solution. Well done guys

Peaceful and countryside location

We reserved this Hotel the day before from Syracuse. I'm glad we didn't decide to stay in Enna itself - the narrow streets were unbelievable and the parking a real issue. The location of Federico was in the countryside nearby and very peaceful.. The staff were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. It was coming to the end of the season so the Hotel was quiet. Although the Pool was officially closed the very helpful Attendant put out some sun-loungers for us. We enjoyed lovelySicilian food in the Restaurant that evening, good wifi in the bar and Reception areas..I;m not sure I would stay here for a weeks holiday but we certainly enjoyed out visit immensely.

Situato in una zona di espansione ad Enna Bassa, l’hotel dista pochi chilometri dal centro storico di Enna. L’edificio, moderno e imponente, è isolato, al centro di un ampio spazio nel quale trovano posto il solarium e la piscina all’aperto, i giardini e un’ampia area adibita al parcheggio. L’aspetto esterno è gradevole, in stile mediterraneo classicheggiante: la hall è molto spaziosa e ben arredata, l’accoglienza cortese e professionale
Stupenda la loro spa, con una bellissima piscina di acqua calda salata, Hammam, sauna, aria relax, e una palestra.
Purtroppo, la stanza a nostra disposizione, è stata una delusione, perché non insonorizzata dai rumori degli scarichi delle tubature interne.
Il fatto che fossimo nella zona Residence, non giustifica, un albergo a 4 stelle deve assolutamente assicurare la quiete.
Colazione inadeguata, per nulla assortita, ci siamo dovuti accontentare di quello che ci proponeva la bravissima cameriere.
Noi abbiamo pagato la colazione al momento della prenotazione avvenuta mesi addietro, quindi davvero un fatto grave.
Si da importanza più ai gruppi, gli eventi, che ai clienti di passaggio o addirittura, ai turisti.

Ottima scelta ad Enna

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per 6 notti di fila durante un lavoro su Enna, Camera spaziosa con balcone. Bagno discreto, cabina armadio generosa.
Servizio lavanderia eccellente.
Servizio Palestra discreto, aggiungerei qualche manubrio e una panca piana con supporto per sbarra.
Colazione buona, sarebbe ottimo aumentare la scelta del salato, per esempio uova strapazzate.

아웃렛에서 정말 가까운 위치에 있다.
20분정도 걸리니 쇼핑하고 오기에 적당 에나 시내 와는 거리가 좀 있음

Als ich in das hotel kam hatte ich das gefühl in der alte ddr zu sein. Der frontoffice angestälter war der king und ich nur ein einfacher gast, obwohl ich für 3 tage in das hotel 600 euro bezahlt hatte aleine.. Das hotel war nur zu ein drittel besetzt aber er hatte mir mit absicht ein zimmer gegeben wo yeden aben eine hochzeit mit feuerwehr und sehr laute music bis 3 uhr nacht war. Obwohl das hotel ser schön ist habe ich verstanden das da was faul war. In das hotel homepage stand drauf das ein pendelbus zum flughaven gab aber keine chance, taxi zum hotel und der war billiger al der von hotel angeboten wurde. ich war 3 tage dort und an ersten tag konnte ich den pool nicht benutzen weil es füt die hochzeit reserwiert war obwohl es 33 plus grad waren. an den letzen tag wote ich etwas einkaufen, es gab nur drei taxi und die waren in den moment besetzt, als ich fragte ob er für spähter reservieren könnte antwort: sind diese einkeufe so dringent? Er gab mir ein zettel mit den taxi nummer und sagte mir vieleit können sie es spähter selbst versuchen, fürso ein hotel sehr grausam. Es ist sehr traurig weil das hotel sehr schön ist die pool und restaurant angestälten sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit waren aber front office und management kein fach personal.
Ich muss aber sagen das die tochter von den eigentumer sehr net hilfbereit und hatte imme einen schönen freundliches gesicht wie es sich führ ein hotelier gehört.

Prestations correctes sous conditions ....

ATTENTION : cet hôtel accueille régulièrement des mariages en soiree autour de sa piscine. De ce fait la piscine ferme à 18h... n'espérez donc pas profiter de la fin de journée pour vous détendre... il faudra vous contenter d'une bonne douche dans votre chambre ! Sinon l'hôtel est calme mais très éloigné du centre ville (un véhicule est nécessaire)

Bel hôtel, bien situé, mais...

L'hôtel est très grand, semble assez ancien, mais plutôt bien maintenant. L'attitude du personnel à la réception est exécrable et varie entre l'indifférence et l'hostilité. Qui plus est, les hommes qui y étais ne pouvaient s'exprimer ni en anglais ou en francais de façon minimale est cohérente. Quelle idée de mettre pareilles gens à l'accueil??? Par contre, Lucia, la serveuse que nous avons eu, à la fois au dîner et au petit-déjeuner était dévouée et absolument charmante. La nourriture, fort bonne.
De plus, la vue sur la campagne sicilienne et les petits villages, depuis l'hôtel, est magnifique.
Enfin, la politique de check-out à 10h00 am est exécrable. Les standards internationaux sont midi, ou, à la limite, 11h00 am, avec souplesse jusqu'à midi.

Mycket fina rum men dålig service. Svårt att hitta till hotellet. Wi-fi fungerade inte på rummen. Extra kostnad för att simma i poolen. Medioker mat i matsalen. Stor frukostbuffé som dock övervägande bestod av sötsaker. Arrogant personal i såväl reception som Spa. Verkade enbart intresserad av större italienskspråkiga grupper.

Hotellet ligger i Enna \" bassa \",i foten av bergen , dvs inte i själva staden och detta framgår inte av info. GPS hittar inte och telefon nr till hotellet angivet på¨webben var felaktig !
AC fungerade inte rätt och på natten var vi i ett kylskåp ! AC lät otroligt högt.
Menu i Hotellets restaurang var spännande liksom på ett sjukhus och smakade därefter men du var nästan tvungen ,vi vägrade , att skriva på notan vid beställningen ??????????????????????? OBS sen 10% tillkommer
på priset !!!!!!!!!!

Ubicación del hotel: imprescindible GPS, giro de 90º para entrar y \"callejeo\" para salir. Se encuentra en las afueras del pueblo.
Personal: un poco antipático. Nos entregaron la llave sin explicarnos dónde estaba la habitación ni el restaurante, piscina...
Habitación amplia con vestidor. Cierre de la ventana perfecto mediante persiana.
Instalaciones: piscina exterior cierra a las 18.00 (demasiado pronto para ser verano y con más de 30ºC), pero si hay boda a las 15.00 y la piscina interior tiene un coste de 10 euros por persona.

Bel établissement mais personnel peu avenant

Très bel établissement certainement très récent, doté de chambres spacieuses et bien équipées. Reste à signaler un personnel très froid et une utilisation de la piscine trop règlementée. En effet, outre un horaire de fermeture à 18 h (????), vous êtes accueilli par une jeune fille faisant office de «cerbère» et vous donnant de façon péremptoire votre position autour de la piscine et vous interdisant l’utilisation de celle-ci sans bonnet. Ce dernier point ne serait pas gênant si elle en proposait à la vente pour ceux qui n’en serait pas munis. D’autre part, évitez de choisir un samedi. Vous serez susceptible comme nous de tomber un jour de mariage organisé par l’hôtel et de très peu dormir.

Un bel établissement

Nous avons eu une grande chambre très confortable avec balcon. La salle de bains est très bien agencée. L'hôtel est en contrebas de Enna. J'ai profité du spa bien agréable après une journée de visite.

Very nice hotel but not service minded at all. Noisy hotel all night long and breakfast was like being part of a hurricane. Relax area was nice but noisy too. Staff didnt seem to like having visitors from other countries than italy. We will not stay here again.

Très belle hotel mais !!!

Bonjour, nous avons passé 4 nuits, la sonorisation entre chambre n'est pas super, a l'intérieur de notre chambre, bruit du conditionnement d'air à l'arret de plus au plafond, le détecteur incendie, la lampe clignote, le tout pour faire dodo dur dur. La grande terrasse pas table, pas de chaises. Le petit déjeuné bon pour un 2 étoiles. L'ensemble des prestations humaines super correcte. Le service Spa super bon massage a 2 comme à 4 mains, et bon prix. (j'ai confondu dans mon avis précédant, avec le Frederico 2 de palerme)

Sehr komfortables Hotel

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb Ennas. Ausstattung sehr schön, edel und von guter Qualität. Aussicht auf Enna war sehr schön. Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung. Innen-Swimmungpool: Das Personal war zurückhaltend was den Zugang für Kinder anbelangt und besorgt, dass die anderen Leute (drei Personen, davon zwei Kinder im Schwimm-Unterricht) nicht vom Lärm gestört werden, deshalb nicht kinderfreundlich. Internet nur in der Lobby. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen, wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Hôtel neuf assez impersonnel. Chambre vaste avec dressing et balcon vue sur la campagne. Grande télévision écran plat.
Les moins: eau pas chaude dans la douche (pas trop gênant par 35 degrés), personnel de réception ne parlant pas anglais ni français à 21h30. Piscine d'eau très froide bien qu'en plein soleil!
Petit déjeuner buffet correct.
