I had a nice size bathtub in my room that was enjoyable after a long day of walking. Alot of hotels seem to skip bathtubs, but well worth the time to just unwind in one before sleeping. Central location. Good breakfast assortment! One thing that bothered me, was I could not get the tall draperies to close completely and the light came in the room too early.. They need to fix this. I like dark rooms to sleep in and shouldnt need to wear a mask or put sheets over my head to have darkness. Otherwise, I would pick this place again for overall value in a central location on a side street just a few streets from public transit. Thank you!

We did enjoy our time at the Post Hotel. As a building it has obviously seen better days. Having said that, the hotel was perfect for what we needed. It is close to Vienna's centre and all the shopping, restaurants, travel hubs, sights to see, etc, but, without being in a noisy part. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and perfect for a base (had to get use to the weird design of the loo). Bed was really comfy. Staff were friendly. Would I book there again? YES, definitly.

The Hotel Post is a great place to stay, it is so close to everything that you would want. The room is very clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good has a lot to choose from. The room was decent with old furniture unfortunately room service was not provided nor the towels were changed we have to request it also the kitchen manager was very rude when I asked her not to put different utensils in the same plate to avoid cross contamination she did not want to do it at first until I showed her it is a government regulation for food safety the guys who work at the front desk were excellent and very helpful

Main pluses. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was a wide selection of food on offer at breakfast. The hotel is well situated, close to many visitor attractions, restaurants and transport links. We found no real negatives and would, therefore, have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

The soaring high ceilings and beautiful vintage elevator made for a delightful experience. The location is perfect- one block from the tram stop and the underground station. Hotels.com had to take a loss to resolve it with me. Hotels.com is to be commended while the hotel holds no esteem. Parking is several blocks away which is not uncommon in Europe

The hotel is fine and the price is good for Vienna. Location is nice and easy too. All I woukd say is room was very tired and unattractive and the floor we were on seemed like it belonged in an old institution. Old Lino etc whereas other floors were carpeted.

This was our favorite hotel in all ways this trip to Europe, from the helpful front desk who offered a tourist map and suggestions w/o being asked, the large and comfortable room with beautiful antique furniture, quiet but very central location, and most excellent breakfast. I don't know how it is not rated higher. I only wish we had stayed here our first 5 days in Vienna instead of only our last. The pictures don't do it justice. This is a superior place to stay in all ways. It is right in the heart of Vienna, but on a quiet side street.
