Late check in was exceptional and so was the room. However, note the 6th floor includes a flight of stairs for your luggage as the lift stops at level 5. The other issue is the cleaner letting herself in without knocking. Three times on the last day commencing 8am despite a 11am check out.

We enjoyed this hotel so much because of the convenient location. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch. It’s tucked away in the back street away from all the noise but conveniently located to the city center. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located on a side street so it’s very quiet, but right in the centre of the city so it’s very walkable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great! There’s also a rooftop area where you can sit and have a coffee which was really nice on a nice day. I reserved the single room so it was small, but there was a lot of storage space so it was great! Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is down a little side street with no through traffic. Room was comfortable, but missing fridge and t&c facilities, although free tea was available at reception. The property is in need of some updating. Staff are fabulous, helping me with my secondary school German. Definitely recommend as only 5/10 minute walk to Stephen Platz.

This was a great property in an ideal location to walk most places or quickly get to public transportation. The front desk help was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was great (the staff in there not quite as friendly but certainly kept the buffet full). The only downside to this property is the bathroom of our room was very tiny and had a step up into it. This, paired with our choice of a smaller room, meant we really didn't have much room for anything. Our 2 day stay meant it wasn't worth it to unpack in the wardrobe. If you are at all concerned about size of room, I would suggest paying for something larger, especially if you are staying longer. Otherwise great property!

Breakfast was great! The front desk staff were awesome as at a time when we were there the rain and wind was intense and causing many flooding problems. We couldn’t get a train or bus to our next destination of Salzburg and the hotel did there utmost best to accommodate and help us.

The staff have gone out of their way to help us. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t good while we were here at our train to Salzburg was canceled. They helped us explain to our hotel in Salzburg why we weren’t coming and manage to get us a room for another night. I would definitely come back here.

We loved our stay in July 2024. Christian was an excellent manager, and made us feel welcome. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of many tourist destinations. The area next to the hotel was a little too busy for our liking, but the hotel is situated on a quiet side street. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was enjoyable.

Great little hotel! Super staff. Hard to find so be prepared and parking is tricky. However, they have a staff member ride with you after checkin to show you where to park. Rooms were clean, air conditioner worked great and bathrooms were also clean. We would definitely go back!

First of all, as a solo traveler, I VERY much appreciate that the hotel offered a room with a single bed at a much lower price. A standard sized room would have been out of my budget. The room was tiny for sure but adequate for my needs. The location was perfect. Within walking distance of St. Stephen's, the Hofburg, the Mozart Haus and within a 5 minute walk to two different U-bahn stations. Lots of dining options near the hotel. However, it is on a very quiet side street -- no traffic noise at all. The hotel staff was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

I liked to stay this hotel. I felt I was in the old era. Also I liked the morning breakfast because I sat next European travelers, by the way I am Asian :) One thing I didn’t like the attached small mirror inside the bathroom. It might be moved to right side instead of left side- depends on preference-I was stayed in twin bedroom. It was fantastic and thank you for staff.

Excellent hotel BUT air conditioning was not available to regulate the room temperature. They claimed the first week of April was not the season to operate it and no control remote was provided, so the room was hot overnight with the need to open windows before going to sleep.

My stay had many positive points. The room was ready when I arrived before 1:00 PM, it was clean and quiet, the elevator worked. Breakfast was tasty, with a different pastry every day. Walking distance to many attractions, restaurants and stores. The single room is tiny, but I had stayed in similar ones in Europe. One unpleasant thing was that I booked a taxi through the hotel to take me to the airport. One of the employees even seemed to know the driver. The price I was told was 40 euros and I even confirmed it with the driver. However, when I gave him a 50 euro bill, he refused to give me 10 back.

Everything was amazing in this hotel. Staff is friendly, they helped us with parking (they have a big parking lot next to the hotel), the room was beautiful with a true Vienese style, breakfast in a very beautiful room full of charm. It is two minutes away from Stephansplatz.

The twin room was perfect, clean, hotel and location felt very safe, and the breakfast was a plus -though you’ll need to make your own coffee with the machine! I skipped since there are so many amazing local options. Hotel staff were all very kind and helpful with my questions. They held my luggage the day I checked out so I could wander the city some more. Would stay here again!!

My family of 4 (2 adults 2 children) had such a fun time in Vienna and much of it was due to the excellent stay at Karntnerhof. We stayed in the Madame Rosa Suite (which is perfect for traveling with children). Aside from the great room, the service was just really fantastic.
Arik who manages the place was SO fantastic and accommodating to any need we had whatsoever. He really helped make our stay so enjoyable. And had fantastic recommendations and answers to any questions we could have.
You never know what you'll get with smaller boutique hotels, but this one really is a gem and they are lucky to have someone like Arik running it. We will be recommending this hotel to any of our family and friends traveling to Vienna and will for sure stay here again when we return.

This hotel was easily accessible from the train stop and very walkable to the inner city of Vienna. We were very happy with our room; it was quite spacious for three people. The breakfast options were plentiful and it was good. The staff in charge of breakfast worked very hard to keep everything stocked and clean. I would just like to see a few small upgrades to the hotel and then I will be more tempted to stay longer on my next visit to Vienna: there are no dressers or anywhere to store clothing in either the single or double rooms; Internet service frequently dropped; and the satellite TV reception only worked for some channels - some channels had like a jigsaw puzzle of broken images when I tried to watch them. Again, these were not major points for me, but things I hope they can improve. The breakfast was very good and the rooftop deck with chairs and tables is a nice touch. The staff at the front desk, dining room, and housekeeping were all very friendly and polite.

Reception said windows need to be closed for AC remote to work, most of the time it did not. Couldn’t get it to turn on. After a few complaints to reception, I was told they would turn it on remotely from the reception. You need to call reception everytime you wanted AC. Then in the middle of the night, AC would stop!

This place is more than excellent. From the staff, the quietness of the place, breakfast was the best among the other hotels we've been while in Europe. I wish I can remember the names of all the staff, but Christian fr the front desk was very nice. Location is also a big plus, about 4mins walk to the St Stephen's cathedral.

Great central location
Hotel was in a great location very central but down a quiet street. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was small but fine for our needs. I would stay here again. Breakfast was good.
