Hotel is nice in a quiet village surrounded by woods. Their is few people who speak English but I think it adds to the charm and enjoy the fun experience. My last visit was with my wife if a better room but this time the room was very small and no air con and it was very hot in the night. I still like the hotel but wasn't the best experience this time

My experience at Landhotel Schnuck, was really bad, or no experience.
meaning that I booked two rooms with breakfast prepaid and confirmed through Hotels.com. Once arrived at the hotel, my colleague and myself discovered that they were fully booked and there was not room for us.
The receptionist told us she didn't have any room left, but she would try to help finding another place. she made a very quick phone call, it looked like a confirmation, not even letting us speak or ask more questions. She wrote the name of a hotel and address on a piece of paper and pushed the sheet towards us, telling us to move up because it was late (it was 11 pm) and we should hurry up.
We drove to the address (without a navy it was impossible to find and she didn't give us any info how to reach the pèlace, just saying it was five mins drive away) and we arrived to a very poor hotel. we walked in at the restaurant and they gave us what I think were two extra rooms very old, ugly, from the 70s maybe, and kitchen smell were stinking all over. matrasses were very uncomfortable. the tiny toilets were pretty old . they didn't even ask for documents, they didn't check us in, just asked to write our names and surnames on the back of a restaurant receipt. the accomodation was barely that of a 1 start hotel (I then checked the website of this hotel and it does not at all looks like the pictures in the photogallery. even breakfast was very poor).

Everything you need for a good stay. Two restaurants with one being buffet that had a nice selection of German food. Delicious free breakfast and nice comfortable bed in a clean room. Great shower too. Staff very helpful even to those that didn’t speak German. Good bar with cold beer to relax after a long drive

Einzelnen Zimmer gibt es nur mit Teppich, Doppelzimmer auch ohne, schlecht für Allergiker.

Super Frühstück. Sauber und netter Service. Unser Zimmer war auch super, das Licht Ein-und Ausschaltkonzept sollte dringend überarbeitet werden. Hier gibt es schon gute Bluetooth Möglichkeiten die man nachrüsten könnte. Das Büfett zum Abendessen klang auch sehr gut. Die Gebühr für die Sauna ist ok, sollte aber in die Zimmerrate integriert werden, denn ab und zu ist keine Karte verfügbar, wenn man sie nicht direkt mit bucht. Man kann dann nur hoffen das eine Karte zurückkommt. In der Sauna war dann aber trotz letzter Sauna-Karte nichts los. Sauna am Samstag und Sonntag ab morgens wäre wünschenswert. Ein weitere kleine Abwertung gibt es durch die Musikhalle (Club) nebenan, man hört am WE die Musik. Zumindest sollte man darauf vorher auf der Internetseite vom Hotel hinweisen oder die Fenster mal im Hotel tauschen. Vielleicht auch mit dem DJ reden. Wir würden aber trotzdem jederzeit wiederkommen, das Hotel ist empfehlenswert.

Das Frühstück war super, das Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich, Leihfarräder auch gut für € 8.50/Tag (keine E-Bikes).

Für einen Aufenthalt in der Heide ist das Hotel zu empfehlen. Die Ostheide ist gleich nebenan. Der Radweg 17 ist wunderschön und direkt vom Hotel zu fahren. Das Frühstück war reich an Auswahl und Frische. Der großzügige Wellnessbereich nach einem Tag in der Heide entspannend.

Als je op de 2de verdieping een mooie kamer hebt gekregen ( rook vrij) en de deur naar buiten open zet heb je de de rook van de mensen, die onder jouw op hun terrasje zitten en roken, direct in onze kamer. En ook de rookbank bij de voordeur, zou ik onmiddellijk daar wegdoen. Is geen gezicht om eerst door een rookgordijn naar binnen te lopen. Verder uitstekend van dit hotel genoten

Soweit alles sehr gut. Einziger Minuspunkt: um 08:20 stand das Zimmermädchen im Zimmer. Frühstück war zwischen 09:00 und 09:30 von mir am der Rezeptiom avisiert worden. 20 Min. später erschien die Dame erneut.

Das Bad ist eine Zumutung, ja es ist klein, aber Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung dürfen da nicht vernachlässigt werden. Im Lüfter hängt der Staub der Jahrhunderte und überall an den Armaturen ist eine Kruste Kalkablagerung. Dann gibt es einen Duschvorhang, der beim Duschen stört und zusätzlich die Fläche eingrenzt, ohne steht alles unter Wasser. Im Bereich wo man steht ist Schwarzschimmel in den Fugen. Wer bitte möchte sich da gerne reinstellen?
Hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden.
