We loved our quiet stay at the Corriegour Lodge. Our hosts were engaged in our travel and offered some suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable.
We have really only one suggestion. You n ed new bedding. The bathroom was nicely updated and your breakfasts were spot on, but our bed felt tired and more in line for a couple who wish to sleep in the same room but in separate beds.

The food offered at the Hotel is very good, we didn’t dine in due to our plans while staying there, it’s a more formal set way of dining which wouldn’t suit everyone.
The hotel itself is bathed in old charm with spectacular views over the loch. The area is great for walking.
The staff are friendly and helpful and we were pleased to note that no noisy devices are allowed over breakfast.
Breakfasts are made to order and there is no waste because of this.

We were so impressed with our stay at the Corriegour Lodge. The lodge is in an absolutely unbeatable location with stunning views. It’s super cute and homey inside and our room was comfortable and clean. Both dinner and breakfast were the best meals we had on our trip. The best part was the owners/service though. The host at the time, Christian, was welcoming and friendly, and the male host/waiter (wish I got his name) truly has the most perfect, professional service skills I have ever encountered. Five glowing stars, worth every penny!

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we walked in we were treated respectfully and smiles. It felt like I walked into my Grandma's comfortable home. The house is full of antiques and comfortable feather furniture. The bed and pillows were so comfortable too. The selection of tea and coffee in our room was nice too. Plus, a lovely selection of cookbooks were there too. There is an on-site bar and a a beautiful dinning room. I had one of the best Gin & Tonics I have ever had. Don't skip dinner at this fine hotel. I had salmon in a mussel sauce - so divine. The best meal I had on our whole two weeks of traveling. Cristian and her son made us feel so very welcome and important. This is a real gem of a hotel.

This is a gem of a hotel. I have stayed before and will again. The hospitality is excellent. You are treated as an individual by knowledgeable and skilled people. The food is excellent a hugely skilled chef. Dishes are well thought through and executed. It’s a small family hotel worth as a destination in itself.

It was like staying at your grandmother's house in the 1950s - floral wall paper, tartan curtains, even a green bakelite phone! The staff were great and the facilities very comfortable. Nice touch having us all meet together then go through to the dining area. Only downside was that it was further out from Fort William that we understood.

Just finished two nights at this gem of a lodge. Small and intimate. Service is impeccable, warm and personal. Breakfast ample, varied and delicious. Dinner is spectacular. Ian and his kitchen team can compete with the best. We travel quite a bit and have enjoyed meals in very fine restaurants. My wife and I agree that the 2 dinners we had at Corriegour rate with the best we’ve ever had, anywhere. The service, food, presentation and stunning views combine for an experience we will always treasure. Thanks to Christian, Ian and their team for doing such a wonderful job.

This property was first class. Christian gave us a warm welcome along with a gin and tonic. Her son Ian is an amazing chef. Dinner was out of this world good. Service top notch. View of loch lochi from dining room priceless. If you stay here don't skip the culinary michelin recommended experience. There is a cute bar and gathering room with fire place. There is also trail across the road so you can walk easily to the loch. Great views and good bonding with my girls skipping rocks. There is a fishing pole and gear near front door if you want to try and catch some trout. Great people. Great property. Great food and drink!

A Gem between lakes & mountains

What a cosy little family run hotel we found in the middle of the lakes and mountains!
Extremely friendly yet professional. Very responsive to our needs- ( we were travelling with our son with special needs and mobility issues.
The place is full of history. It's an old lodge but well maintained and decorated tastefully. The location is unbeatable and breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel had its own private 'beach' in Loch Lochy as well as its very own waterfall and a bridge in its backyard. Just be prepared for some driving up winding roads to get further north - beautiful nevertheless - you wouldn't regret it!
We stayed for 4 nights and ate in 3 nights- a delectable 2 course meal exquisitely presented. Slightly pricey at £44 per adult but ok for special events such as this- children were given a very reasonable discount.
If you have certain dietary restrictions/preferences, you might just need to remind them again.
Bathrooms are modern and smart, although our final room had a slightly older style bathroom. Very clean and well stocked.
A big thank you to Christian, Ian for making our stay so comfortable and the wonderful chef whose food never failed to stimulate our kids who are otherwise a very picky eaters.

Staying at this hotel was like a trip back in time to an old English Cottage Inn. I felt like I was in a Sherlock Holmes episode. I was greeted with a handshake & an tour of the 12 suit cottage by James who was dressed in a suit and vest. There was a large, very comfortable sitting room where guests could gather and read or talk. My room had a waterfall running a few feet away from one bedroom window and Lake Lochy with mountains overlooking the other window. The room was spacious, the beds and pillows were wonderful, the bathroom had unending hot water and everything, although very new, was still old fashioned English. There was a private path to the Lake with fishing available as well as a walkway to the waterfall and mountain stream draining into the lake. The breakfast was a full English breakfast with your choice of a full complement of cooked normal breakfast items (i.e. eggs + sausage + bacon etc) or fried haddock or Kipper, etc. Everything was served to you at you private table in a dining hall with one whole wall being windows to the Lake and Mountains. Everything in this hotel was authentic old English (think Sherlock Holmes era) down to every last detail (except for the electrical outlets & TV/Wifi, hair dryer, electric tea service, and hot water heaters in the room.) The wifi worked well and there was plenty of free parking. I simply loved EVERYTHING about this hotel and the hotel staff could not have have been more friendly. I will stay again. Worth every penny!

Perfect gem by the Loch

This is a true gem of a lodge- nestled behind lovely redwood trees with a brook streaming past and an exquisite garden. The lodge also has a large private beach. The whole place is tastefully decorated while maintaining the interesting history. Comfortable beds - a great place to rest and enjoy yourself. The entire staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and assist with whatever your needs may be. This is also a great place to have as a base to explore other nearby areas by car or take a hike from the lodge. The restaurant was just magnificent! Amazing 4 course meals of the highest quality! I highly recommend you enjoy all your meals here. The dining area is perfect - beautifully set tables with silverware and the loch right outside the panorama windows. Coffee or tea in the cosy parlor or bar. Loved our stay here!!

Fantastic family run hotel

Fantastic family run hotel in an excellent location on the side of the loch, James who checked us in,was really friendly and helpful. The evening meal was absolutely delicious and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, even when cloud covers the hills! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Adorable little lake side inn

Beautiful little inn, very charming and cozy. Only real downsides were the very squeaky floors (felt bad for the room under us) and the tiny shower. Great breakfast, awesome views. Just wish our stay had been longer so we could enjoyed it more.

Amazing hotel experience!

Completely loved this place! The scenery was really amazing! This was a really special hotel experience! The hotel staff was really friendly and we where never just a room number. We can strongly recommend to eat at the restaurant at the hotel, the food was really good!

This is a family run business and it shows for all the right reasons. From the time you arrive to the time you leave Chistien, Ian & James are there to look after anything you require. I highly suggest joining them for dinner if you go as Ian is a fantastic chef.

Relaxing Hotel with Private Beach and Waterfall!

This was an absolutely wonderful hotel. Family-owned, cozy, and in a beautiful location. We made reservations here on a whim, and it turned out to be one of our favorite places. The hotel is on a main road, but not near other hotels. It's between Spean Bridge and Laggan, right on Loch Lochy. If you need to walk to shops, this is not the place. If you want a relaxing setting and beautiful scenery - this is the perfect spot. The staff are welcoming, accommodating, and professional. The property has a waterfall AND a private beach on Loch Lochy. It was such a peaceful place to be. The restaurant is delicious - we had breakfast and dinner (reservations required) and enjoyed both. This is a place that will push you to relax! The only downside of this place - they use much too much potpourri/room fresheners. It did not help my asthma. I would definitely call ahead if this is an issue for you. Otherwise, wonderful.
