The Nordfjord Hotel is one of our very favorite places to stay in Norway. It is an easy walk to the center of Nordfjordeid and a short car ride to the ferry. Wonderful breakfast buffet, fine rooms, and great workout space, pool, hot tub and sauna. One of the best parts of Nordfjord is the staff with Jan (Manager) and Endre (Front Desk) so helpful!

The Nordfjord Hotel is wonderful, charming and easily accessible walking distance to the center of town. We loved the pool, sauna and spa area. Great buffet dinner in the evening, and Jan, the Hotel Manager, is so helpful, as are the other staff. The best place to stay in the area.

We stayed 1 night and had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was good. The staff helped with laundry. We gave them 2 loads and they had it washed and dried by morning the next day.

Ok personal, rene men slitte rom, du får bedre froskost på gudstjeste i kirka. Bassenge å dusjene der trenger å bli pussa opp, mugg og skittent mye plasser. Men overall vist man skal bare sove 1-2 dager som et mellom stopp så går de fint.

Always stay here even though it’s not that close to where I’m working it’s worth the detour. Food in the restaurant is excellent and very good value especially if you have the set menu of the day.

Fantastisk mat

Vi kunne ikke fått det bedre på vårt korte opphold. Utrolig imøtekommende mennesker med stor forståelse. Gratis parkering er ett stort pluss. Å den beste ribba jeg noen gang har spist. Helt fantastisk mat! Det er verdt turen!

Kort men flott

Veldig kort opphold denne gang, men kommer gjerne igjen ved en annen anledning. Veldig koselig ansatte og god service. God plass på rommet, og hunden fikk komme inn til 200kr ekstra

Godt med varmt vann, og varme på badet, settes veldig stor pris på.

Veldig rolig omgivelse. Stort frokostbuffet. Restaurant har en super italiensk kokk og en hyggelig vert. Vi hadde rom 324. Bra låsesystem uten nøkkel eller nøkkelkort.Sluken til vasken på badet var delvis tett. Dette må fikses.

Bra service, uheldig med renholdet.

Servicen og innsjekkingen var veldig bra og med hyggelige ansatte i resepsjonen.
Rommet jeg fikk var ikke klart da jeg sjekket inn, da det var masse hår(så ut som hundehår) på gulvet og noen våte flekker på gulvet. Manglet også hånduker.
Jeg sa ifra til resepsjonen og de tok tak i dette med en gang. Resten av oppholdet var bra.

Koselig hotell med hyggelige ansatte

Hyggelig mottakelse. Litt knotete dørlåssystem. Vi oppdaget en kjempeedderkopp på veggen på rommet, men den lot oss være i fred😬. Veldig gode senger. Ellers bærer rommet preg av at det er på tide å pusse opp badet. Frokosten grei, men noe spartansk. Hyggelige ansatte.

Dårlig opplevelse

Vi hadde sett frem til en avslappende helg borte for å feire en bursdag. Når vi kom ble vi møtt av stilas som strakte seg nesten rundt hele hotellet. Til tross for at vi hadde vært i kontakt flere ganger før ankomst, ble vi ikke informert om pågående renoverings arbeid. Dette var skuffende, spesielt da vi hadde forventet en hyggelig opplevelse.
Rommet hadde en ubehagelig gammel lukt, spesielt fra skapet. Vinduene var umulig å åpne. Ingen kjøleskap. Det var så å si ikke varmtvann i vasken. Dusjen hadde heldigvis tilstrekkelig. Pågående oppussingsarbeid ved resepsjonen skapte mye bråk og støy, og den dårlige lydisolasjonen på rommet generelt gjorde oppholdet forstyrrende.
Det som var positivt var tilgang til «badehuset», men også der var der rom for forbedringer. For eksempel var skyvedøren ut til jacuzzien så treg vi nesten ga opp.
Ved utsjekking opplevde vi at resepsjonisten ikke var særlig imøtekommende eller profesjonell, og hennes manglende vilje til å håndtere våre klager og behov var skuffende. Når vi spurte om det ikke var noe hun kunne gjøre, sa hun kort: nei.
Alt i alt var oppholdet på Nordfjord Hotell en skuffelse. Hotellets mangel på kommunikasjon, informasjon, mangelfulle fasiliteter og dårlig service gjorde opplevelsen svært frustrerende. Jeg vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet til andre.

Absolutt fantastisk sted! Veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme mennesker. Ryddig og godt med parkeringsplassen ved hotellet. Spa avdeling (basseng, to typer av sauna, boblebad reint og fint. Stort og godt utstyrt treningsrom. Barnevennlig på mange måter. Frokost 10/10

Ikke veldig moderne. Litt rar lukt. Basseng/spa stenger kl 20. Småtrist frokostutvalg uten melk og yogurt. Bruk af fasiliteter som biljard koster kr 100 pr time.
