Everything about this place was amazing! The room was immaculate and the a/c was perfect, especially since the heat was strong. We had breakfast ever and it was delicious. Close walk to a good restaurant and the grocery store. You will need to walk a good ways to get to town, recommend a taxi. Villa Boscardi is in a safe neighborhood so don’t worry about walking around.

I do not normally leave reviews, but as a solo female traveler I felt compelled to share. My experience was positively wonderful. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully designed. Staying at Villa Boscardi was the perfect rest before travels home. There was only one restaurant open (Sunday) and Ms Francoise was kind enough to give me a ride. Breakfast was also fantastic and the staff were so polite. The pool was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean breezes. This area felt wonderfully safe inspite of being in a cautionary area. Highly recommend.

What a sweet spot! I wish we'd had more time to just chill in the garden and pool patio! We had a back cottage which was lovely and so quiet. Walk to the sea or the main road so easily. I also wish we were staying our last night before flight home but we messed up and booked elsewhere non refundable. Next time! The owner and all staff are just great, so friendly and attentive, onsite. Nice breakfast and coffee, water, fridge in your room.

This is a nice little place in Belize City not too far from the airport. But know it will be $30US each way in the taxi to and from the airport. My only complaint is the pool in the back was not heated and too cold to get into. The owner said something may have been wrong with the heater but it was never fixed during our stay.

My one night stay was lovely. The vibe is casual and unfussy, yet warm and thoughtful starting with a welcoming cold towel and fruit juice upon check in. There's a little dipping pool in the courtyard where you can cool off and lounge. I enjoyed chatting with other guests over the beautiful home-made breakfast of eggs, sausage, beans, fruit, breads, limeade and coffee. Francois (beautiful hotel owner) kept us company, sharing suggestions for sights and tours -- she was very warm and relatable. Thanks for a sweet visit.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here on October 21-22, 2024. We stayed in the deluxe room. The bed was huge and the bathroom was adequate. Due to it raining we could not use the pool in back which is basically a large hot tub that no longer functions but it looks very nice. The TV wasn’t huge but it was a smart TV that connected to the internet provided and we were able to watch Netflix and Amazon prime.
When we arrived staff greeted up warmly and gave us keys to the front office with a kitchen we could use along with a key to our room and the front gate. Outside of the walls of the hotel isn’t the greatest (as is most of Belize City) so it was nice that it was securely closed off. I asked about parking inside the gate and they told me I had full access to the garage door opener. It was very homey.
The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Eggs, sausage, Johnnie cakes, and fresh fruit. The owner and one of the staff stopped and talked with us as well and were very kind and accommodating.
We paid an extra $40 to stay here rather than one of the less expensive sites, but it was money well spent as I felt comfortable and safe for the duration and the staff really cared about us continuing to feel that way!

Villa Boscardi was the perfect place for us to stay for our brief time in Belize City. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and extraordinarily helpful, including arranging transportation. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Villa Boscardi is gated and we felt safe the entire time. Highly recommend!
