Please note if booking through a 3rd party, like Expedia, the pool is not included. This was not clear in the description as it states swimming pool available. Was the main reason we booked. Still outstanding complaint with Expedia which has gone unresolved for several days since making the claim. Hotel understands but did not compromise as it was Expedia’s issue. Ball still in your court Expedia customer services.

Hotel is located right on the fjord with amazing views of the fjord and glacier. The room was quite adequate for our stay, had a patio door to the outside which was nice. The breakfast was very nice with good selection. A disappointment was being asked to pay for an extra pillow for my daughter who had broken her collar bone and needed some additional support while sleeping. The area is absolutely gorgeous and idyllic.

The staff was GREAT! They made us feel at home and were very friendly. The rooms were neat and clean. We were located close to the Steinsdalfossen and a bit further to the Voringsfossen. The Trolltunga is accessable too; you just need to be prepared for a 20 km hike. Oh, and the breakfast rocks!

The men on neighbor room had a party and talked in the hallway loudly. The party lasted whole night. I got awaken up by them 1 time at 2 am, 1 time at 3am, and 1 time at 8 am. I asked receptionist came with me at 3pm to stop them, but then just completely ignored and even did not say sorry. What a terrible experience

It has a connected swimming centre and is right next to a lovely beach with a great view. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was in good condition, very clean and cosy. The only letdown was the Christmas dinner buffet, which unfortunately we couldn't have because the fish and veggie options were limited. But a very good variety at breakfast!

We selected this property specifically for the indoor pool, well, the day we checked in we were told the pool is closed for maintenance for the whole week. It would have been nice of them to let me know this in advance so we could have changed our booking to a different hotel.

The hotel is in a very small town with very limited dining options. The hotel restaurant is very bland even the breakfast was the worst of any we stayed in. Had dinner one night where the chicken burger was just horrible.

Expedia ad is misleading. View from room with river view is not pleasant. Check in clerk was unprofessional, discourteous, rude and sexist. Ignored wife's questions and only responded after I repeated the questions. The facility is decent, but this staff member is enough to recommend avoiding

God plassering, mye rom for forbedring.

Rommet bar preg av billige, kjipe valg. Det virket ikke veldig gammelt, bare dårlige valg. Fellesarealer er jo kjempe fine, men rommet var kjipt og hadde instutisjonspreg. Plasseringen er nydelig, sentral - vi var der under siderfestival og var med på sidermiddagen på hotellet som var veldig flott. Ærgerlig oplevelse

Hotellet er generelt for dyrt i forhold til den kvalitet vi fik. Særligt værelset var af lav standard og morgenmaden var trist og med få ikke velsmagende valgmuligheder.

Prima hotel op prachtige locatie

Prima hotel aan het water met uitzicht op baai.
Bedden zijn wat zacht.
Ontbijt is heerlijk en ze hebben goede koffie. Zelfs een gebakken ei is mogelijk. Er is ook een zwembad echter gaat pas om 14.00uur open. Gratis parkeren is dichtbij.

Boendet är registrerat som 4 stjärnor men saknar de gratis toalett artiklar som visas i annonsen och har ingen AC på rummet

Dyrt hotel i forhold til lokasjon og tilbud. Basseng var ikke inkludert og frokosten var middels.
Sengene var harde og ubehagelig med dårlige puter. Ingen taklys eller minibar/kjøleskap.

Veldig kaldt rom.
Gikk ned og sa i fra men hun i resepsjon sa det bare var vaktmesteren som kunne fikse på temperaturen og han va der ikkje.
Dårlig renhold på badet. Støv lag og hår i badekaret.
Ellers nydelig flott hotell, god mat både til frukosten og til middag. Flott resepsjon. Eg va nokk bare uheldig med rommet.

Personalet ser ikke ut til å ha det bra. Ikke et smil noe sted og ingen snakker norsk. Rådyr restaurant og delvis sparsommelig frokost. Bra hotell og rom ellers.

Et flott opphold i Øystese.

Flott hotell og ganske nytt. Flotte rom med alt man trenger for et godt opphold. Parkering rett ved hotellet og badeanlegget.
Vi ankom litt seint, rett før restauranten stengte, men vårt selskap fikk bestille mat (6 personer) og samme gode service.
God mat med mange lokale varianter av sider.
Gode fasiliteter for barn. Litt dåelig vær, så vi fikk ikke prøvd uteområdet.

Hotel très confortable, bonne literie, au bord de l'eau, mais on a eu une chambre qui donnait sur le parking.
La piscine annoncée est en fait la piscine municipale à coté de l'hotel, avec entré payante.

Noe lang ventetid for innsjekking. Leste på nettsiden at inngang i Hardangerbadet var gratis ved hotellopphold, dette stemte da ikke, og vi ble møtt med lite forståelse for at hjemmesiden til hotellet ga uklar informasjon.

Ellers er hotellet renslig og beliggenheten helt fantastisk. En av de bedre hotellfrokostene på morgenen skadet heller ikke. Skal ikke se bort fra at vi besøker dette hotellet ved en senere anledning :)

Det första rummet som vi fick var väldigt smutsigt och vad som såg ut som en spya på golvet, vi sade till direkt och fick byta rum, vi förlorade dock vår balkong på rumsbytet vilket var tråkigt.
Vi kände oss också lurade då det stod att det skulle finnas inomhuspool men att vattenparken hade en tilläggsavgift. Det visade sig att även inomhuspoolen hade tilläggsavgift (inträde på badhuset intill) vilket inte stod på beskrivningen.
Servicen var i övrigt OK och frukosten var bra.

Flott hotell!

Flott hotell med perfekt beliggenhet ved stranden. Stor parkeringsplass med gratis parkering. Rommet var romslig, rent og moderne. Det var litt for varmt på rommet på en varm sommerdag og utenfor skrek måkene hele tiden så vi måtte ha vinduet igjen. Alle ansatte vi møtte på vår vei var effektive og hyggelige. Ville helt klart bodd her igjen!

Utmerket rett på Hardangerfjorden med spektakulær

Dette hotellet er moderne og nyoppusset med ideell beliggenhet når det gjelder alt fra den flotte stranden, kort vei til severdigheter og shopping, og en nydelig hage der du kan sitte og nyte kveldssolen med utsikt til Folgefonna! Fremragende service og nesten litt for gode senger:)

- room with good size and confortable, no noise

- dirty common areas and room corridor

Dette var vårt første overnatting på dette hotellet. Meget fin beliggenhet rett ved sjøen og Hardangerfjorden. Et badeland og strand like ved. Kort avstand til butikker. Veldig god service med hyggelig ansatte. Avslappet atmosfære, både inne og ute med utsikt over Hardangerfjorden. Rommet hadde en smal og ikke særlig god seng. Dette førte til dårlig søvn for oss begge. Vårt rom lå i den gamle fløyen av hotellet. Det kan godt være at det var bedre senger i den nye fløyen. Frokosten var meget god. Totalt sett et fint opphold.

Flott beliggenhet, små rom.

Flott beliggenhet,fine uteområder, fine salonger, god frokost, hyggelig betjening, fin restaurant ( litt stive priser), men rommet var så lite og trangt at vi ikke kommer til å bestille flere overnattinger her, dessverre.
