I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and have a mixed opinion about this hotel.

PROS:
•Good location! It’s a 10-minute walk to town, which was the main reason I chose this hotel, since I didn’t want to rent a car or depend on buses.
•Excellent breakfast included.
•Free shuttle service from the ferry port or airport (and back). This is very convenient, considering the standard taxi rate in Mykonos is €40.
•Due to a ferry strike, we had to change our stay, and Chrysa kindly rebooked our dates at no extra charge and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Mayra at reception was very nice as well with great recommendations!
•Nice sea views (especially from the restaurant and lobby).

CONS:
•The shuttle driver seemed upset and even came across as rude when picking us up, which gave a poor first impression.
•Our room smelled like sewage when we arrived.
•Some furniture feels old and worn. Even the wallpaper behind the bed was poorly applied, making the room look outdated.
•The staff, in general, was not as warm and friendly as in other parts of Greece I’ve visited.
•Rooms are not soundproof- you can hear everything from neighboring rooms and the restaurant.

Overall: I guess the price was ok for what I got but I would definitely look for a different option if I return to Mykonos.

It’s a bit of a walk to town (especially coming back up the hill - it’s a hike) but the hotel offers free shuttles in the evenings which was a great addition. AC worked really well and the free shuttle to/from the ferry was a perk! Fair price for a great spot!

We enjoyed a 3 nights stay here for a friends 40th. From the moment we were collected from the airport via the free shuttle to our arrival and throughout our stay, the service and warmth from all staff was exceptional. Nothing was ever too much trouble and were a great help ordering transfers for us. Special shout out to Mira on front desk - she was just the sweetest! This was my second time visiting Mykonos and it won’t be the last - and I would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you Hotel Hermes and I hope to see you soon!

The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel offers amazing views since it’s located at the top of a hill. It’s about a 10-minute walk down to the city center, but the walk back uphill may not be for everyone.
Fortunately, there’s also a shuttle bus to the center.

I especially enjoyed the huge terrace of our room, it had a great vibe and made our stay unforgettable with the views day and night. Also amazing sunset views.

Pool was lovely with lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels as well as drink and food serves. Daily drop off and pick up at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00, was offered, but don’t count on it, they drove right by us, so we took a taxi back.

A fabulous stay! Upon arrival, we were greeted by two ladies on reception with a welcoming smile, after checking in, one lady showed us to our room and the vehicle driver delivered our cases. Throughout the week, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, they were all absolutely fantastic, from housekeeping to reception, breakfast staff and bar staff, everyone wanted to help. During our stay we needed a few extra things, all were delivered within minutes of requesting them. There is also a complimentary bottle of water each day in the room, along with a payable Mini Bar Fridge. The breakfast and bar offerings were great, for breakfast you can order whatever you like from the Eggs Breakfast Menu, brought to your table with drinks. The young lady and gentleman at breakfast worked tirelessly to ensure you enjoyed breakfast. Additionally, there is a fabulous self service selection. The Bar/Pool Menu was also great. The fixtures and fitting in the hotel are very pleasing with good quality comfortable places to sit with the best views!
The hotel is situated up hill, around 10-15
minutes from Mykonos Town area, we found there were two routes to use. We had a sea view room on the first floor and the views were simply stunning! We would 100% return to this hotel, it is well up there with the best we've stayed in! Thank you to all at Hermes Mykonos!

Honestly, you have to be careful when you read these reviews. I searched hotels for days, but kept coming back to this one for some reason. I was a little hesitant because of the complaints of the small room size and the long walk from town.
The room was beyond spacious, the view was amazing and the staff literally were super kind. The complimentary breakfast was enjoyable and I was very impressed with Nic. He was so courteous and attentive. Overall my stay was fantastic and I would highly recommend.

Great hotel nestled on top of the hill that overlooks the old port and city of Mykonos… which is about 11-15 minutes walk. The location provides you the most wonderful and breathtaking view of the city and ocean. They also provide shuttle services if you decide or prefer not to walk. Overall, a great hotel to stay. Excellent Hotel! Ensure you have a sea view room where you can enjoy a beverage while watching the sunset on your balcony, very clean and comfy room. Many beautiful common areas to sit and relax. Nice Pool area with high quality umbrella and chairs and a great pool bar. The staff were all helpful and friendly, especially Athena, Nick and Maria. Free shuttle to/from times. The free breakfast was nothing short of incredible. Order from a menu as well as a large selection of meats, juices, yogurt, nuts etc.. Free Mercedes van to/from the core at 7, 8, 9pm.

This property requires a 12/10!! It was that fantastic! I have never felt more welcomed from staff than I did at this hotel. It was fabulous. The views of Mykonos were stunning from the hotel and it was a short walk to everything in Mykonos town. The breakfast was unbelievable. And for the price that we paid, that was unbelievable as well. My daughter and I had an amazing stay, we stayed 2 nights, all the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, comfortable and clean. You get the sunset from ur balcony. Hotel is 10 mins walk to town, if you are observant like my daughter it can be less. Definitely recommend for ur stay , I will absolutely stay here again. Please note the Hotel is up in the hills so will have to walk up stairs/steep hills. There is complementary shuttle to/from airport/port. I want to say thank you to all the staff.

The pick up and drop off was great and was easy to organise - the hotel messages you in advance on Expedia to request landing times. Your drop off at the airport can be easily organised at the reception desk on arrival. Excellent breakfast - both continental and hot breakfast available, several options to choose from so no risk of repeating meals! The pool was lovely but given limited sunbeds you need to get there early! The hotel is located at the top of the hill but not too far from the main town (15 min walk) although its a lot of walking up and down hill and on uneven ground so worth noting if you have mobility issues. Would definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness: The hotel was impeccably clean, from the lobby to my room. It was clear that hygiene is a top priority.

Location: Perfectly situated near major attractions, it made sightseeing a breeze. Plus, there were great dining options within walking distance.

Service: The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering helpful recommendations and quick responses to requests.

Amenities: The hotel offers a fantastic pool and the free airport shuttle was a PLUS!! I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a wide variety of delicious options.

Comfort: My room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like extra pillows and a coffee maker.

Value for Money: Considering the quality of service and facilities, the price was very reasonable. I felt I got great value for my stay.

Overall, I highly recommend Hermes Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Upon checkin received a map and a lot of information on how to get around the island, restaurants etc. this hotel is on the hillside with expansive views. It is a fairly short walk in town —- however the path is not great unless you are fairly agile. A more pleasant and less stressful option is to take a taxi for 7-10 euros. Staff is exceptional. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.

BEST HOTEL in our 5 weeks of travels! From the moment we walked in, the service was 5 stars. The staff was excellent, room bright with very hot water and SUPER COMFY BED/PILLOWS. The pool was very large with great bar & VERY comfortable lounge chairs. The sea view terrace was perfect for a romantic evening & glass of wine. Only suggestion would be black out curtains. The shuttle service that picked us up at the port and drove us to dinner every night was an added bonus. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Overall a good property and we really enjoyed our stay.

Only real negative was that we booked the junior suite for 4 nights but were informed upon arrival that it wasn’t available the first night; so we stayed in a standard sea view room that night (they reimbursed us the difference). Another possible negative is that it’s a bit loud with nearby clubs and traffic, but we sort of expected that given its location.

Sea view room: smallish but clean. AMAZING view. Weird bathroom window allowed the morning sun to blaze into the room, fixed with a towel.

Junior suite. Beautiful, large room with tub in the main room and separate room for toilet and rain shower. AMAZING view, once again.

Beds are comfy

Staff very friendly and accommodating

Breakfasts are excellent with eggs and coffee made to order and a huge spread to choose from. Food from the restaurant was very tasty and fresh.

Great location with about a 15-20 min (steep) walk down to the waterfront.

To get to any of the beaches, we took Ubers, which really ads up as it’s 36-48€ per ride. Next time we might rent a car (even with the sketchy narrow roads).

Staff was extremely personable and accommodating. They were very helpful with transportation including complimentary shuttle service to/from the ferry terminal as well as arranging private car service to get to/from dinner. The pool bartenders were really friendly and the pool area was beautiful and comfortable. The room was tastefully decorated and had a balcony overlooking the village and sea. Spent three nights and would highly recommend staying here.
