The property staff were friendly and so amazing. Always greeting us upon every opportunity. They were able to facilitate a late check out and transportation to and from the port/airport. Breakfast had some buffet like options but was also a la carte (delicious pancakes) I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location!
Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing trip celebrating my 40th Birthday here in July. The room was amazing and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The best service and hospitality!
Nancy from the dining team is an absolute gem and made us feel so welcome each day of our stay.
Definately recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing luxurious break in the most beautiful surroundings.
Look forward to returning here again someday!!!

Loved the Kove hotel

I would return to the Kove again and again. The location is great and walkable to the local beach club and restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful. And the staff- especially Nancy- was the absolute best and made our stay perfect.

We cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We were greeted with opened arms and everything from check in to check out was so smooth and absolutely wonderful. My husband and I travel a lot and this was by far the best experience we ever had. The staff treat you like family, everyone is welcoming and kind. The breakfast buffet was delicious with kind and beautiful atmosphere setting the best tone for the rest of the day. The hotel staff help you book taxis/rentals if that’s what you need during your stay. They gave us many very helpful recommendations at check in of where to go in terms of restaurants, tavernas, beaches, etc. I could go on and on, but truly would 100% come back here and recommend this gem to anyone coming to Mykonos!!!!

Fantastic Hotel!

The owner, manager and all the staff are super friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a great location, the bar and restaurant are top notch and the rooms are nice and clean as is the entire property. I will definitely stay here again next time.

Wonderful!

Such a wonderful place, everyone was so welcoming it feels like home from home albeit in a mega special way! Nancy, Stella and the team offer fantastic breakfasts, Alex and Maria cater for every beverage need and Christina is the most wonderful organising.

The property itself is beautiful with lots of quirky details. The pool is gorgeous with a fab DJ in the afternoons… super chilled vibe.

Honestly can’t recommend Kensho enough… we’ll definitely be back

I loved the friendly staff. We even had a late flight so we stored our bags all day and came back and used the transfer service. We were still able to use the hotel also though we checked out that morning. That helped so much so we can still enjoy our day with no luggage and had a ride late to airport. Definitely not a place just because since it is very expensive but perfect for a couples getaway for a special occasion.

Beautiful hotel, but not worth the price

We loved our stay, great location, service and food.
Only problem was we had been upgraded from the sister hotel ornos where we had booked a sea view room and ended up in a small basic room with no view. Also the public pool was small and not really a pool you would sit around. However the beach was really nice, but we would need to pay for the loungers.

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in....it was our honeymoon so we decided to treat ourselves! The rooms, the location, the staff and the whole hotel were fabulous and would definitely stay there again!

Nice little chic boutique hotel

Nice boutique hotel in Ornos Beach (more quiet area), with elegant modern decor and a nice pool. Our junior suite was rather small but it was fine for only 3 nights. They have a free transportation service to their sister hotel in Psarou Beach. We enjoyed the sister hotel location for the direct beach access and shops around.

Perfect, boutique hotel.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff that only care about your relaxation and enjoyment while in their care.

Well appointed, a very short walk to Ornos beach (which is very nice and family friendly) and a 5min drive to the centre of Mykonos town.

We stayed in a Jnr Suite with hot tub, and didn’t see any of the other rooms but ours was lovely. Big, bath and shower, and lovely outside area with hot tub and seating. Perfect to watch the sunset.

Food and staff were all amazing and made our stay probably our most enjoyable of all our European holidays.

We’ll definitely return to the island and the Kensho Ornos.

Mykonos Gem

This hotel is boutique style, has great customer service and is in a great location. Loved the breakfast service and the late night bartender who is there to greet you after a night on town with Shisha and cocktails.

Nice small hotel good location

Lovely hotel good location. Fairly steep hill back from beach so probably not for those with mobility difficulties. Has shuttle bus to and from Mykonos town and hotel staff very friendly and can arrange day trips, car hire etc. Only problem is lack of sun beds, only 12 around the pool with apparently 35 rooms. Most rooms have hot tubs which were great and room to lay out on terrace.

We had an excellent 7 nights stay at the kensho hotel.
The only thing we found was that the bar was empty at night times. It might have been due to late season, but they should get a happy hour going to get people in the bar.
There was no where to get ice creams and no afternoon snacks like cakes etc.

The hotel was in a lovely location a short walk to the beach.
Not much room around the pool area to sunbath in the mornings because the sun didn't get to the balconies till late afternoon.

The hotel was great, especially the staff who is extremely nice and helpful. Beautiful rooms and bar

Nearby beach is decent, at least renting chairs and palapa is affordable (~18 euros / day) compared to other beaches in Mykonos.

The island itself was a letdown, very small crowded beaches, everything is extremely expensive (up to 90 euros per day to rent 2 chairs). The price itself is not a problem, the problem is you can get much nicer for the same price elsewhere (ex: Kissamos or Platanias were amazing)

But again, about the hotel itself, it was a great experience.

Sofisticated!

I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly, amazing breakfast, it was hard to leave the table. Bed very comfortable, impecable service. Ornos beach is a nice beach but to get to town, either you get the driver service of a taxi or a bus. It's not walkable, unless you really like walking. It's about 2-3km from town.

Luxurious, friendly hotel

Had a wonderful stay at Kensho - a beautiful hotel and looked after by welcoming and friendly staff. The pool and bar areas are amazing with outdoor pool beds and swing chairs to relax in. The breakfasts were good with a great choice of fruit, yoghurts, bread, jam, honey, pastries as well as eggs to order. Close to Ornos beach where there are some nice restaurants, regular bus service and water taxis to take you to other beaches. An added bonus is the shuttle service into Mykonos Town in the evenings which we used regularly. Our room was comfortable, however the noise from the bar above until 2am was a little too loud to get a good nights sleep, especially when furniture in the same area would be moved early (around 7am) to prepare for breakfast, 5 hours sleep is not really enough, especially when recharging on holiday!

Home away from home

At Kensho we felt as if we were at home with friends. There is always a friendly face greeting you and a special treat awaiting every day. After staying here you will no longer need that vacation from the vacation, since you will be already recharged with zen and tranquility. Breakfast is amazing with endless prosecco and amazing Greek frappes. The beds and rooms are comfortable and chic.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

Beautiful hotel with service at its best. All staff members are very accommodating. The hotel Director walks around greeting his guests ensuring their comfort, every day, all day. I was very impressed with this hotel and would definitely stay here again as I loved every minute of it. They welcome you with a bottle of Prosecco and fruit plate to your room and turn down service with water and chocolate every night. Their breakfast selection is great. It smells great all around the hotel. Concierge booked reserved all the places I wanted to go during my stay.

Luxury life stay !

Had the bestest time ever, they made us feel so welcome , always at our service always there if we needed ANYTHING no matter what time it was. I came with my best friend we had the time of our lives !! The worker named Alex is an amazing worker please tell him.. kensho thankyou for making our stay amazing you always went that extra mile to make us happy , we havnt been to any hotel which had an iPad in the room so this was useful and amazing to connect music to the tele , and we will miss everything about kensho !

Heavenly Kensho Boutique

Perfect location for some rest, relaxation, great good and incredible service. The hotel is designed beautifully and the rooms are second to none. We had a private plunge pool which was incredible and unique. The breakfast is outstanding with a wide choice and quality of ingredients, the fruit, Greek yoghurt, choice of breads and of course honey was our daily treat. The hotel gave us a bottle of prosecco and fruit on arrival. This hotel is th perfect stay and a 5 minute walk to Ornos beach. We are at a local restaurant Apaggio and the views as well as the seafood were out of this world. Reasonably priced and large portions. We so ate at Lefteris and the grilled souvlaki and tzatziki were amazing - cheap too! The hotel is tranquil and not overcrowded. The pool is beautiful and there are plenty of hidden spots to enjoy a drink and take in the view. Simply amazing.

Beautiful resort, free transfers into town all day

Walking distance from the beach although it was so cold for the 4 days we stayed in mid April, we never actually visited the beach, nor did we swim in the beautiful resort pool. That's not the resorts fault, but good to know if you're booking early in the season. We were stunned at how nice this resort was, the architecture, the fixtures and fittings throughout the building..we are in the middle of building a new house and got tonnes of inspiration! The staff on the front desk were so welcoming and helpful, as were the ladies in the spa downstairs where you can use the sauna and jacuzzi amongst other things all free of charge. Mykonos itself was pretty cool, although a bit more expensive than Santorini where we had just visited and definitely geared toward a clubbing scene especially when it's not beach weather. In saying that our only disappointment at Kensho was on our last day when we tried to have an early breakfast, it supposedly starts from 8 (which is late for me) but when we arrived at 8:15am they were still half way setting up and in fact when we left at 8:45 they were only just putting out the bread! If you're a late eater this won't bother you at all but for us it wasn't a great way to end what had otherwise been a great stay. Drinks at the bar weren't cheap but the service was actually really good - I've always wondered what people meant when they said that - complimentary fruit platter, drink suggestions with tastings, really good!

a fantastic hotel

What a fantastic place. We only stayed for a night and really we wanted to stay more. We were there for one night during Easter and really we wanted to stay more. Indeed the hotel is a hidden jewel as the staff prompt us and really a stay is really worth it. Also try their restaurant which serves modern Greek cuisine full of taste and memories. A real jewel !
