It's a gem of a place in the hustle and bustle of Napoli's historic center. I would highly recommend it - I'm a female solo traveler so safety is a priority, as is cleanliness and just good service. Michaela and Andrea were top notch receptionists that really went out of their way to make sure I'm comfortable with recommendations for dinner etc. Janou was lovely and professional with making sure breakfast is well-prepared. I was blown away by the staff at this property. After a very stressful travel day, the staff tracked my train (to make sure I would make checkout cutoff) and were so helpful in dealing with the airport and helping me find lost luggage. The breakfast was outstanding. The room was beautiful and spacious. I would go back in a heartbeat. It’s a very unassuming entrance but the hotel itself is gorgeous. Big thank you to all the incredible staff that went above and beyond while we were there.

Lovely hotel to stay in right in the heart of a busy part of Naples. Easy to walk to so many popular spots. Surprisingly quiet for being so central, even within the hotel, which was perfect as a mother visiting Naples solo who never gets silent rest! We were mutually intimidated by the location of this hotel - seemingly in a graffiti filled alley. But Marcella immediately calmed us and when the gates opened to secure our car and we saw this hidden gem, we were in awe! Great location, beautiful room and details. The staff go over the top to be helpful with reservations and recommendations. LOVE this place!!!

A little gem of a hotel. Only a few rooms on the top floor of an imposing old building. Nothing special about it on the outside, but inside, after many steps, it's a stylish establishment. Absolutely loved a jacuzzi in the room, tall ceilings, a beautiful view, breakfasts right outside our door. What made it truly unique is how small it is, but still has a reception with amazing help. We felt very welcome, our 5-year-old had enough space to explore, and it was nice and quiet after busy Naples street. Oh, and it's right next to all the attractions you need!

Once we found this tucked away hotel inside of a tiny street and gave our car keys to Mario we were helped up two flights of stairs to an elevator to the 4th floor. A few more stairs and a lovely hidden gem. Our room was called \"\"Cleopatra\" and had the biggest jacuzzi tub I've ever been in. It could fit 5! The breakfast was fabulous and outside our door in an adorable room with many tables. For the city, it was so quiet. The room was gigantic. The bed very comfortable and staff was fabulous. They recommended great meal options. It was close to everything.

Calling this place a “luxury accommodation” is liberal at best. While it’s centrally located, it’s hard to find and it’s also up multiple flights of stares. Heavy packers be warned. Our room was shared against the breakfast hall- which was ok for sound, but felt invasive when I just wanted to step outside. The rooms are massive, but filled with crappy chic looking furniture that isn’t comfortable or functional. What sold me was the jacuzzi size tub in the room, but when I checked it out, all the jets were COVERED in black mold, and the caulking was all split and gross. I scrubbed them myself and still felt grossed out. We also booked a tour through their recommended services and it was very confusing, changed our times and location, and we were rushed for the entire tour. The staff is all very friendly. Breakfast is included but looks like yesterday’s leftovers, jams etc from communal jars that look gross. Our “complimentary” water was also in a glass, Voss like bottle that was caked in minerals or dirt, or something. I didn’t really take many pics here, but trust my word. View was nice!

First time in Italy. Alone and forgot all the Duolingo Italian I’ve been learning for 150 days.

I asked 20 questions - and needed some assistance. The staff were very helpful and accommodating with each one. The staff is wonderful.

It’s a special spot. The hotel has a historic yet modern- artistic- small boutique hotel vibe.
The location is perfectly tucked away and yet centered around a vibrant neighborhood full of wonders. Enjoyed walking through the alleyways and roads. So much to experience- highly recommended staying at this hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel!
The front desk girls were the kindest and the friendliest people we have ever met in any hotels. Andrea helped us with our transfers, tours and dinner reservations.
She was the BEST!!
Great location. Close to train station and only 15 minutes walk to historic area with all the restaurants. If u are driving it may be a challenge finding this place.
Only think that was difficult it’s on 4th floor.
But the hotel does help u with your luggage.

It was our first time visiting Naples, we stayed for 3 nights. We loved our stay, the reception was super nice and also had our room ready to check-in earlier.

The hotel is clean, smells goods at the entrance, Our room was clean and it was quiet at night. I felt safe. Free breakfast as well. The hotel is walking distance to any area for a first time visitor.

We had to check-out early, they even ask if wanted a breakfast bag prepared for our train trip which was really appreciated.

I don't say this often, but I would definitely come back to Artemisia Domus if we ever visit Naples again!

We arrived on a Sunday when most business are closed. This hotel is in a building with other things so you have to buzz to get in. You have a flight of stairs to go up before an elevator to the fourth floor and then you go down two stairs and up 4 or 5 to get to the hotel. Staff was super friendly. The main attractions are within 15 minute walk/funicular ride. They play soft music in the main areas, feels like your at a spa!

This is a boutique hotel but it is far from Luxury

There are lots of stairs and a hot little tiny elevator. We had to ask multiple times for our air conditioning to be left on while we were out as it took a 3-4 hours after we returned to cool it down to 70 degrees & in the end the air conditioning leaked. It was a GREAT location and the staff was friendly and helpful but the floors were dirty, the breakfast was disappointing and the bed was very soft so u sink into it

My only complaint is that it was a little difficult to find- so definitely drop a pin on your phone if you go exploring the city. The airport transportation was great though and they found it no problem. The location was excellent for walking around the city. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. Chiara at the desk spoke perfect English and was so helpful with walking tours, maps, culture, and restaurant suggestions. She is a gem!

The bathroom had mold in the shower, the hotel was overpriced, the breakfast was poor, and there was no help with our suitcases—we had to carry them up two flights of stairs at 11 pm. Fascinating spot at the heart of the old city

We stayed here for one night on our way to the airport after a week on the Amalfi Coast. It is an excellent base to explore the historic heart of Napoli, set as it is on the 4th floor of an old building in the gritty Centro Storico. The accommodation is a welcome surprise and the welcome from Chiara was warm and informative. She organised a transfer to the airport for us the next morning which worked well. As our stay was short we didn’t get an opportunity to enjoy breakfast or to use the sauna in our room. Unfortunately the sauna could not be used once reception closes at 9 pm. This was our only disappointment with our stay as it meant we did not get full value for the room. Accessing the building involves many steps to get to the elevator so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. But for those wanting a luxurious but authentic experience in this fascinating city it is a great base.

Finding a place was a bit of a challenge. The sign was very small and I passed it three times but the staff was amazing with our late check-in, making sure that everything was done right and given us instructions on how to check in with nobody there! The staff was excellent! The room was amazing! Very nice downtown Naples. It was only two blocks from our meeting for our tour. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at Artemisia Domus. The room was large and clean, and I appreciated the smart TV, soaps and fully stocked minibar. The staff were very helpful. Chiara in particular went out of her way to help me. My only suggestion for improvement is to extend the hours of the bar and breakfast. The bar was never open in the evening, which in my view defeats the purpose of having a bar. Also, breakfast wasn't served until 8am. This is not great for tourists who may have early tours or flights. I did not get to have any breakfast while I was there because of my early starts, which annoys me since it was included in my rate. I did ask if some food could be left in the room the night before, but this didn't seem possible. Fix these 2 things and then it's 5 stars!

Everything was good besides getting our luggage into the hotel. The elevator is on the second floor and hotel is on the 4th floor.

Also the drains in the bathroom didn’t work very well and the shower door was faulty.

This is a stunning boutique hotel. We had the 2 bedroom apartment. The rooms were a good size, the bathrooms were great. The hotel is on the 4th floor, so very quiet and stunning views from the attic.
All the staff including Salvatore, Guisy, Nina helped us all the way with arranging excursions and suggesting great eating and shopping places. They made us very comfortable, a very big thank you to all of them! The breakfast chef Janu was great, quite, polite, patient and going out his way with all our breakfast demands! Thank you again. I would love to come back to Naples and stay here again, there is still so much to do and see in this lovely city! Hope to see your team soon.

The front desk staff were incredible. Prior to and during my stay, I was able to message them in both the hotels.com app & whatsapp. The response times were incredible. We arrived early & were going to do luggage storage until check-in, but they were able to let us check-in early after less than 20 minute wait. They also recommend dinner places & we discovered the best pizza we've ever had on the list! We had an early flight & the hotel arraged airport transfer for us & provided breakfast in our room the evening before so we wouldn't fly out hungry. The customer service was simply amazing & the suite was gorgeous! We would definitely recommend & return!

Beautiful room and view from the balcony. Great bed. High quality breakfast. Very kind and empathetic receptionist (my luggage never arrived at the airport and I was quite stressed). They would need to fix their sewage issues, it smelled really bad in the bathroom because of that. I had to leave the windows open the whole night. It should be an easy fix so I am sure it won't last.

Great service from start to finish, staff made sure to make our arrival as smooth as possible despite it being late at night. Hotel was easy enough to find and located close to the centre and also the metro station which made getting around very easy. The room was very spacious and the jetted bathtub was a lovely touch.

Room was perfect. Would definitely stay there again if in Napoli. Staff was very helpful with everything except when we had to get a taxi to Positano for our next stop. They ordered us a taxi which cost about 56 euro more then it should have. We should have done our due diligence and ordered it ourself. This unfortunately put a very bitter taste in my mouth after such a nice experience in this small hotel. Bottom line is do your own research if you need transport anywhere since their transport affiliates have \"tourist prices\".

The hotel is very new and clean, staff are also super friendly and helpful. Getting in and out of the hotel was a little inconvenient for me because I had a large suitcase and you had to climb some stairs before getting to the lift. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay at the hotel :)

The room was very lovely with a wonderful view of the castle on the hill. The bed was incredibly comfortable and huge! The staff were really wonderful and very helpful, giving us top tips for restaurants. And the lemon cake at breakfast was delicious! Would definitely stay here again.

This boutique hotel is excellent!

The staff communicated a few weeks before arrival right until we landed. It was easy to find (you’ll need research the location and the hotel sign), but still not difficult. The hotel was immaculate! The room was perfect, large bed, extremely comfy, jacuzzi spa, big shower, nice towels, added bonus of netflix on a decent size tv. Everyday, room cleaned and fresh towels. Wifi was brilliant also.

Breakfast was ok, lots of fruit and oats, anything cooked eggs, bacon etc you need to pay extra.

Location was perfect, in the heart of the city, walking distance to all the sights (except Pompeii but, only a 20 min walk to the station). Lots of places to eat. The hotel felt very safe, in a nice location, you’ll need to look past the graffiti in the streets, this is normal in Napoli.

The staff were very helpful and suggested some brilliant recommendations, restaurants, places of interest.

Value for money, very reasonable...

COVID - As expected, social distancing in place, face masks etc.

Cons - Pillows were very hard, cooked food at breakfast was extra.

Pros - Excellent location, safe, perfect rooms, very clean, very comfy bed, big rainfall shower, great wifi, breakfast included, tv with Netflix, the staff were extremely polite, well informed and very engaging.

Outstanding place to stay, highly recommend.
