Building and rooms were very clean, breakfast was great, and staff was helpful. The only concern I had was the outside doors did not lock. The key cards at door were broken. I think they were in the process of fixing them.

Hotel was okay, for a night stay. I would not stay here multiple nights.
Staff was atrocious. The person running the front desk tried to charge for us for the room AGAIN, after paying on Hotels.com. Then he tried to charge us a random amount FOR HIS OWN PURPOSE! DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!

I have had a nice stay here. I've been happier since I moved to my current room. Staff is kind and honest, rooms are comfortable and I get a lot done here.

The staff were super friendly. Breakfast surprised us with hot options- eggs, potatoes and sausage patties- as well as waffles and yogurt. Would have liked a fresh fruit option - apples, bananas etc. Room was clean. We would stay here again.

The one interaction I had with the staff was good. Room was relatively clean, but was a room that allowed dogs.

I will say that the back door key card did not work and that was a bit disconcerting, but not enough to report at the time.

It’s your basic hotel. If you’re wanting a pool, well you’re out of luck. It’s a great place if you want to sleep and not have amenities. It’s affordable too. The breakfast was good, and the area was clean. I would recommend this place for your stay.

Great place to stay

We had a lovely stay in Galesburg. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfasts were good.
We traveled with our dog and were conveniently able to have a first-floor room. There is a beautiful dog park an easy walk from the hotel.

Nicest people, not the newest property

Staff/owners were super nice and responsive! It’s an older property but seemed to be cleaned and maintained. The beds are old enough to be the ones you can actually see under, and the carpet is probably as old. It’s fine for a night en route to another destination.

Note to my fellow ND friends: the cleaner or air freshener had a strong enough scent to require changing the pillow case on the pillow I took in with me because that scent was still on it when I got home. If sensitive to scents, be prepared that it’s strong.

This place is a dump! Sink was clogged, phone not working, exhaust fan in bathroom broken, curtain only closes halfway, 1 light bulb not working, breakfast was pathetic. We checked out after 1 night altho we booked for 2 nights.

We booked two rooms. When our daughter moved a bedpillow in her room she found mouse droppings on top of the bed. Management looked and replied \"no mouse\", and \"it's ok\". They did move her to another room, but she was offered no apology, monetary compensation or future discount. They also charged us the pet fee for two nights when their website states the pet fee is charged \"per stay\". We were connected by phone to someone who said they would reverse the charge for one day. We will see if it happens. I will not be staying at this hotel again. I have a photo, but have been unable to attach it below.

Everything was great! The only issues with the room needed some things fixed—needs a new toilet seat (the one we had was broken and each time you sat on it it would slide) and there were cosmetic issues in the room needing fixing, the lamp lights by the bed didn’t work. Other than those things it was terrific!

The drain in bathroom did not drain . There was people tuning up and down the room above us all night the first night. The neighborhood had a dog in the room that was crying all day we ended up staying at a friends the second night and also the 3 rd night.

I reserved a double queen room but was given a single queen (the second bed had been removed) which was not a huge inconvenience because I was travelling alone. My biggest concern was that the room smelled terribly. It smelled of stale cigarette smoke and a sort of mildew kind of odor. I ended up going to the store a couple blocks away and buying a can of air freshener AND a plug-in just to make the room odor tolerable.

Very bad experience.

The staff was rude. Requested handicapped room and did not get one. They did not have one with double beds and they did not let pets stay in handicapped room if they had one. Mold in bathroom and room where beds were. Cigarette burns on tub, exposed wires on smoke detector. Will never stay in one again. Would have left but no other rooms in town with double beds and would have been charged even with all the issues.

Have stayed here several times and it has always been clean and the staff accommodating. It is an older building however it has been pretty well maintained. My only negatives: desk was wobbly (loose legs), the desk chair felt weak, and the side chair was low back and very uncomfortable.

Nicely decorated but needs updating. Whoever repaired the caulk didn't know what they were doing. Room wasn't cleaned while we were out for 9 hours but at least they replaced the missing coffee maker. Breakfast was good with ample choice. Excellent location.

We encountered a few issues with our room (no shower curtain or wash clothes, no TP) and we brought this to the attention of the night desk clerk. He was deeply apologetic and immediately moved us to a new and more expensive room. The new room was clean and ready for our stay. So - the property is pretty good but the employees I encountered were Top Notch!

Horrible stay experience!! I stayed 2 nights there. Upstairs was walking in the room in 3am. The ceiling and floor was shaking and loud. Couldn’t sleep. Talk to hotel first night, they didn’t do anything about it. Second night they won’t give us a different room and lied to us saying they don’t have any available room. Me and my wife only got 3 hours sleep and have to go to meetings in Galesburg. Just stay away from this hotel , something wrong with this hotels structure.

I checked in my room and it reeked of urine due to it being a handicap room, there were used coffee cups left on the table. I called the front desk to complain and the front desk clerk came and sprayed the room instead of switching my room. Poor customer service..
