We enjoyed a perfect 7 night stay at this wonderful property. From our welcome with cool refresher towels and drinks to check out everything about Mulberry Silk Village was brilliant.
Our interconnecting room/s were huge with comfortable beds, massive walk in showers and a few short steps to the pool, one of two available. Breakfast each morning had more than enough options to keep everyone happy

Beautiful Spacious Property

The best part was the huge grounds of the property. Staff were friendly but unfortunately at breakfast maybe due to the furniture they could not join tables outside or inside for our family of 6. The Vietnamese drip coffee was really good quality but unfortunately they do charge if you prefer a latte or americano. The rooms were clean but we had several incidents with the kids sliding the doors into each other when using shower and toilet. The beds were also extra squeaky/noisy even just when turning over at night.
The pools were lovely though and the grounds gave the kids some space to run around in a safe area away from the roads.

Mulberry Collection Silk Village is a wonderful place for a short or long getaway. It is within a walkable distance to the Ancient Town and a 20-minute bike ride through the rice field to An Bang Beach. The resort offers shuttle bus to Ancient Town or the beach. The grounds surrounding the resort are carefully landscaped and maintained by groundsmen. The staff such as the life guards, bellmen, waiting staff at the restaurants and housekeeping services are the core members to keep the hotel running smoothly and lively. Beautiful haven of relaxation and tranquility

This hotel is a short walk from Hoi An but worth the walk. It is a haven of tranquility and such an amazing find. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is OK but will never win prizes. But overall we love it. Spa treatments at 50% off gave us for massages for under £60. We were given a free dinner. And drinks and lunch were yum and very inexpensive. Highly recommend.

I would love to give this hotel a 5 star review but there were just a couple of things that keep me from do so. I know we are being nitpicky but when compared to all of the other amazing places we have stayed at ont his trip it fell just a little short. First the great things; the grounds are amazing and pools look and feel incredible. For the most part the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional and ready to help so we definitely want to praise that aspect of the hotel. When we went for dinner and got room service the food was very good. There are just two things we found to be lacking. First the room was definitely not a suite, just an okay sized room with two chairs. Moreover, despite the pictures we did not have a separate shower and the shower we did have was an add-on to the tub that not only was very poorly designed and very hard to use with spilling water all over the bathroom and along the wooden window sill (yes window sill as the bath room had huge windows that not only let you see into the room, but also to the main hallway where everyone walked by. There were blinds but it was not very reassuring to have that access to the outside right next to the bathtub. The tub felt like you were about to crash through the floor with every step and creaked enough to make you wary and getting out of the tub onto the Teflon coated floor was very unsafe and we had a couple of slips that could have gone very wrong.
The breakfast buffet was also very sub par.

The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The pool are was nice and there was a small kids play area. The room was spacious although the floor was very dirty when we first entered. The room could do with a clothes hanging rack and another bedside table. The staff were lovely and very helpful. They helped to make it an enjoyable stay.

Hotel must have been nice years ago but really outdated. A/C not working well in our room and very noisy. Missing some basic equipments such as iron or steamer (none in the entire complex). Staff friendly. Food average. Would need some refurbishment to be at its full potential! Avoid the “private” beach - we went there and it’s not worth at all all.

7 night stay in Hoi An

Excellent 7 night stay. Great pool and breakfast. Overall a nice place to be out of the busy old town area but within easy reach using hotel shuttle or grab taxi which was about a £1 each way. We used the hotel bikes on one day and my wife took advantage of their Spa offer which was excellent value. Great cocktails and offers etc on these plus good food and room service all very reasonably priced. Staff were excellent and friendly.

Such a beautiful resort. We stayed in the Trendy wing. Rooms are great but not well insulated - you can hear the other rooms and hallway. Pools and facilities are fantastic.
Staff are very friendly but don't seem to like it when you use other transport other than their Shuttle Bus/taxis.
Great for a both a short term or long term stay.

The accommodation was excellent. The pools are beautiful, the food was great but the service is above and beyond. We thought it was maybe a little bit further out but after going to the old town we felt we were in the best place because it was quiet and peaceful. A taxi ride in is only $5 aus maximum maybe 7 minutes.

The property is large and beautifully maintained with two large pools and extensive gardens. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied and the staff especially Thienh, were so friendly and helpful and offer to assist with booking tours and dinner option suggestions.
The property is set within a residential area of HoiAn, a good 20-30min walk into the old town which involves walking along some busy roads (may be tricky with young kids). However, there is a free shuttle service which takes you to both old town and An Bag beach and plenty of taxis and it only costs a few $ to get into town using taxi’s.
Despite not being super close to the old town, it was really lovely being able to walk along the residential streets and see all the little makeshift restaurants and shops that are set up. Also plenty of mini supermarkets to get supplies and authentic eatery options available. Overall, I would recommend if you are happy to be a little further away from the Old town and keen to be immersed in the everyday life of the people of Hoi An.

The pool was very inviting and a great temperature.
Breakfast was reasonable.
Room sizes are good, unfortunately we were on the road side so could hear cars/buses and people as the glass isn't double glazed.
The walls are also very thin.
Our bed was super hard and despite the hotel putting additional mattress protectors on (to soften it) it didn't make any difference.
We were able to borrow bikes which was a lot of fun.

We enjoyed our stay overall & appreciated the discounted food & drinks/spa for booking a longer stay. The rooms were clean and the pool well-maintained. With so much amazing food in Hoi An, what’s on offer at the hotel is simple in comparison but does the job at breakfast. There was a bit of noise during the night but with earplugs, it wasn’t an issue & much quieter than staying in the centre. Helen was great throughout our stay & very helpful for tips & helping book transport - thank you!

Nice hotel, all staffs are friendly, 10 mins by bicycle to the old town. Room is spacious, problem is the drain in the shower, everytime need to open it otherwise the water can not run. There is only 1 elevator so sometimes wait for long.

Beautiful property with nice rooms and the included silk tour was interesting. Although we (obviously) wish we had been staying longer, the check-in staff made us feel a bit awkward for the fact that we were only staying one night - it almost felt like we were being chastised.
The shuttle is not super helpful and doesn't run extremely often and, although walkable to the river and main tourist area, it's a bit of a hike. One of the restaurants (Pavillion) we were looking forward to was closed. These negative comments are really not major things, but perhaps important when deciding on a place to stay. The pools, although we didn't swim were very nice looking and, as already stated, the grounds themselves are beautiful. Would recommend.

All great but what really made this place special was the service, the staff are so lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great time. Amazing place! After leaving Hue at a mediocre hotel that was supposed to be a 4 stars, we were rewarded with Mulberry Silk Village. The beautiful, quiet, Zen- like garden surrounding the rooms was the exact thing we needed after the bustling noise of Ha Noi and HCM city. The villas we had were so clean, spacious and wonderfully fragrant with lemongrass. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve had since we’ve been to VN. Breakfast menu was full of choices. Eggs ordered to your liking done right in front of you was the best part. Did I mention the excellent service, beautiful pools, and a tour of how silk is made right at the property? Overall, Mulberry Silk Village exceeded our expectations in every way. I wished we had stayed longer.

Best Holiday ever!

This was truly the most amazing place I have ever stayed in. Our room was spacious and clean, and overlooked a lovely swimming pool, next to one of the restaurants. The staff were friendly and attentive and were always willing to go the extra mile. The breakfasts were amazing and we had dinner there twice - reasonably priced. I highly recommend the sweet and sour soup with seafood! The location was quiet, an easy cycle to the old town but a fair cycle to the beach. The shuttle bus was handy for that! My son had a scuba diving lesson in the pool with Huang - he loved it so much that he took another one and then we took a day trip tour to Cham island where he got to practise his new found skills in open water with am instructor. We will definitely return.

I really like the charming style. The staff was very friendly and positive. Some things might seem old fashioned here but it adds to the charm and style.
My only complaint might be that the kitchen at both restaurants is very slow. It's location being a little far from the city is a bit inconvenient. But it makes it a quiet and cheap resort so that's a trade-off you need to consider.

What am amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Special thanks to Paco, Yen and Ivy who were brilliant.
The hotel is in excellent condition and is spotless. If we had to be picky we'd love the bar to have been open slightly later in the evening to finish off a long day in Hoi An.

The customer care team were really good and thoughtful. The only thing was the beds were 2 king singles joined together and the blanket didn’t fit the bed, which was odd. Also the bed was too short for my partner (he’s 185cm tall - so not extraordinarily tall).

Excellent facilities. We enjoyed the use of the shuttle bus, the swimming pool. Free cycle hire was useful. Room was spacious with everything we could possibly want including daily fruit and water. Breakfasts were amazing and set us up for the day. Hotel staff were more than helpful with lots of suggestions for how to enjoy the local area. Hoi An is a beautiful place and one we would like to return to.

Nice hotel. It’s a little dated in places but was great value for money so that was fine.

They are very courteous here . We got a free upgrade which was lovely.

They make a real effort to please and that’s sweet. It can be a little too “in your face” since staff may keep coming to talk to you whilst you are trying to enjoy your breakfast.

Walls are paper thin. Ceilings too! Sound proofing is always a good thing for hotels!

Too many mosquitoes. House keeping lit a coil inside our bathroom and smoke filled the room ! I’m not sure that was safe. We may have been a little oxygen deprived!

It’s a little dated in places. Plumbing seems an issue. Hot water to run the bath turns cold quite quickly. The toilet was leaking water after a plumber attended to another plumbing issue! Our check out car never arrived so we carried our luggage to check out.

Amazing place you've got to visit!

Amazing place to stay ! The whole resort is quite different to other resorts we've been to, and we really enjoyed the scenery. The location isn't that close to walk to the Old Town, but they have a free shuttle bus service and bikes that we used instead :)
Staff were exceptional and honestly went above and beyond with any issues we had. Greatly appreciated!

There is a lovely pool but we often had trouble getting towels to use.
There was a free shuttle into town but twice the shuttle back never turned up.
Breakfast was ok. Fairly basic. The soups were nice but pancakes were dried out and hard. Quite a limited range.
The rooms were very large but the bathrooms were glass (including to the outside!) so you had to have shutters or curtains down the whole time.

The hotel was fairly cheap so did take the above issues with a grain of salt. We had a nice stay but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Fabulous hotel with amazing pool and troipical grounds. The staff were exceptionally helpful organising trips out and airport transfers for a great price. Spa is a must to unwind and relax after a hectic day in Hoi an, which is only a short 15 minute walk from the hotel. Also the facilities at the beach club were second to none! Only downside is that we didn’t stay longer. Would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed many nights and wished there could be a better variety of breakfast being served.
There should be more frequent shuttle bus timings in the evening instead of intervals of 2 hours as many guests head out to the ancient town for dinner. And the last bus back to hotel at 7.10pm is too early. It would be ideal to run another service returning after 8pm.

Great place to relax

Fantastic resort and lovely staff. Stayed 9 nights and everything was great although the aircon struggled to keep the room cool enough.a lot of the time.

Beautifully green resort

This resort offers open villas with green garden and a beautiful pool!! I love the design of the hotel and staffs were extremely accommodating. They offered free shuttle bus to old town and free bicycles for you to ride into town. We came to Hoi An when the weather was just horrible, rained all the time but every time we arrived from our wander in town, staffs always offered to call a zippy little cart to take us back to our villa. Breakfast was ok with various choices. They gave us free upgrade too so that was super awesome. Didn’t do the silk tour that came with the room tho since we didn’t have enough time. If we ever come back to Hoi An, this would definitely be the place to stay at.

awesome place to stay

wonderful staff, especially Qiang & Thuy (I hope I spelt them right) Also the reception manager.
I booked us for two nights, but extended to to 5 thanks go to the reception manager for organizing that at a very reasonable price.

These ladies booked us on a cooking tour with Cam Thanh Tourism. Local chef locally owned, we were the only two people that day and it was awesome.

They also booked flights for us and arranged pick ups.

Nice but can do better

Hotel is nice, location is ok, rooms are very nice and super clean.
Pool is nice and it's very nice to have a swim after a long walk in town.
Bad points:
Breakfast is terrible. We had our breakfast in town the second morning. Not a matter of choice but quality.
Even if staff is smiling, can not say you're a 4 stars hotel with this level of service..

Hotel was ok for the money we paid. The pool was nice, but was very busy as for we were travelling during school holidays. The room we were in was very noisy which made sleeping difficult from the people staying above us and pool area. The most disappointing thing was the customer service, all of the restaurant staff were not accommodating and it seemed to be a chore for them to do anything (with the exception of one staff member- whose I think was the manager), the same for room service.
In summary possible value for money for a place to stay but don't expect a resort to relax in.

Lovely hotel just out of hoi an

Had a great time lovely staff room by the pool a little warm as they all are. Just a little further away from local restaurants than we were used to but only $3 taxi to town.

Amazing Resort with Loving Staff

It was amazing. Staff were super nice and overall stay was fantastic! The continental buffet was not so good but the rest of the Resort makes up for that. Honestly love this place and will definetely go back.

Great hotel good location

Short distance from old city -can walk it ,use the hotels free bicycles or taxi about 2dollars Aus .You can cycle to the beach through the paddy fields or the road which is extremely busy but surprisingly safe . The silk tour was fascinating
Tours easily booked by hotel ,all staff are extremely helpful and friendly

Doesn't get better than this

Picked up from airport arranged through the hotel, nice friendly driver. Warmly welcomed at reception with a nice cool drink and booked in. Driven to room in a electric carrier with our bags, so if you have any walking difficulties the hotel will sort you out. In our travels around Vietnam we have to say the staff here are just brilliant, nothing a problem and will go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. Ms Thanh Vo is the front office manager and will help you with anything at all, so thanks for a fantastic time at your beautiful hotel. The room was spotless and very comfortable, we were overlooking the pool area on 2 floor room 513, perfect for the pool and breakfast/Restaurant area. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to choose from, a bespoke egg cooking area to cheeses fruits etc. My wife is vegetarian and did not have any issues with selection here. Big thank you to staff such as Vi ( pronounced Vee) who was a delight to meet, always happy and swiftly getting my drinks especially at Happy hour, also Hom (notice these are folks at the bar/food area.) Special praise to all the maintenance and cleaning staff who maintain the very high standards of Silk Village. What can I say about the girls on reception other than they are a credit to the hotel, always courteous and smiling, this is what sets the standard for any hotel in my opinion. Thanks to all for a remarkable stress free stay. \"Com on\" I believe is Vietnamese for thank you. Cheers.

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic stay - the hotel is beautiful, the pool area is excellent (as is the poolside drink/food service), and it's an easy walk (or very cheap cab) into Hoi An. Our room was huge, clean and silent, and made for an excellent night's sleep. We absolutely loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

The only minor downsides are the useless gym (four elderly machines in a tiny room). It would also have been great if staff had spoken to our fellow (adult!) guests about not clogging the pool with inflatables / using lifesaving devices as toys.
