We had a overall great stay at this property during our trip to Allgäu-Oberstdorf. The hotel room was spacious and clean, furniture were a little dated, but still in good condition. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, staff and service were friendly. Would definitely stay again when I’m the area.

Great find this place, Large rambling hotel with tunnels and alpine views[think 'where Eagles dare'].
Spectacular Alpine views from outdoor hot tub and indoor pool. Large sauna/steam room/ wellness complex all included. Rooms are more small apartments excellent breakfast and Dinner in main building.

Great Place to Stay
Alpenhotel Tiefenbach is an excellent place to stay! The hotel staff are very friendly and went the extra mile to help answer all of our questions. The picturesque views from the room's balcony were unforgettable. The room itself is spacious and clean. The hotel's restaurant offered a different chef-prepared menu each day. Alpenhotel Tiefenbach is also located very close to Breitachklamm gorge and nature park.

The hotel and staff were great. The hotel was beautiful with painted highlights on the walls and ceilings. The views were incredible and it was priced lower then other hotels that were not as nice. I will be taking my wife back here to stay for a longer visit next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The advertised category 4 stars sup is exaggerated. The deco lack the fency touch of real palaces. Having said that, we also paid much less than for a real 4/5 stars hotel. So all in all, this was ok. The hotel offers a free pass for parking in Oberstdorf. We also did not need to pay for the safe, which is seldom enough to be mentionned. But most importanlty, we enjoyed the calm and the nature of the location. The SPA is correct and clean with sauna, turkish bath, and whirl pool. On the down side, the restaurant closes at 9pm, which kills somehow the romantism.

Beautiful alpine hotel/spa
Loved the hotel, the suite (upgraded gratis), the views of the Alps, the hiking trails, the breakfasts, the wonderful staff. Note that the hotel is actually in Tiefenbach, a 12 minute cab ride from Oberstdorf town and train. If you plan to stay more than a weekend, and/or want to see the town itself or more of the surrounding area, you should consider a rental car. Otherwise, the hotel will take you back to the train, and we could probably have arranged to be picked up from the train had we known in advance.

Wir waren 3 Tage da. Jeden Tag beim Frühstück gab es mindestens ein Persnal, dass uns wegen ihrer schroffen Art den Kopf schütteln ließ. Also beim Service sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen fehlt einheitliche Schulung aller Mitarbeiter.
Das Hotel selbst und der Wellness Bereich sind schön und bieten mehr Potential als es mit dem aktuellen Personal und dem mangelnden Taktgefühl her gibt. Und es steht und fällt eben mit dem Service.

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und mein Zimmer war wunderschön. Die Ausstattung und Größe waren hervorragend, der Blick war ein Traum. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön, das Schwimmbad leider etwas klein. Alles war sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man kann direkt von der Haustür aus die Wanderungen starten. Viele Parkplätze, gutes WLAN.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, u.a. der SPA-Bereich, aber auch die Zimmer (zumindest unseres). Fotos im Internet sind geschönt. Preis/Leistung eher teuer. Hunde erlaubt, aber die Hotelrichtlinien und Preise sind nicht besonders hundebesitzerfreundlich. Liegt in Seitental von Oberstdorf (Ortsteil Tiefenbach). Gehört trotzdem zu den besseren Adressen von Oberstdorf.

Schöne Zimmer, fantastischer Frühstück, wunderbacher Wellness-Bereich. Nur das Essensangebot im Restaurant könnte verbessert werden für die Gäste, die nicht Halbpension gebucht haben (zu wenige kleine Speisen) und vor allem die Anbindung nach Oberstdorf müsste verbessert werden

Unsere Suite war sehr groß und schön für 3 Erwachsene,aber ich war sehr enttäuscht darüber, dass Bilder schon wieder den Schein trüben.Es war ein Außenpool dargestellt und beschrieben, der nur ein kleiner Whirlpool war und auch den Spa Bereich fand ich für diese Preiskategorie zu klein. Der Innenpool sah im Bild auch viel größer aus.Mit 5 Leuten war er schon relativ voll und schwimmen konnte man auch nicht wirklich. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr reichhaltig und auch das Essen am Abend sehr gut in schönem Ambiente. Allerding würde ich dieses Hotel im Sommer nicht noch einmal buchen.

Die erste Begrüßung an der Rezeption war unmöglich und ich denke die Dame hat es in unseren Gesichtsausdrücken bemerkt, den dann hat sie etwas umgeschwenkt. Aber der erste Eindruck bleibt halt in Erinnerung. Aber zum Glück gab es auch einen netten Herrn dann später an der Rezeption. Die Zimmer waren super, alles in einem extra Raum. Toilette extra nicht mit im Bad, top. Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer extra, top.
Was meiner Tochter und mir nicht gefallen hat, war im Bereich des Restaurants, es hingen neben unserem Tisch riesige Spinnenweben und die ganzen Glasscheiben bräuchten dringend eine Reinigung. In einem Hotel mit ausgehängter Kleiderordnung, darf so etwas nicht vorkommen.
Den Wellnessbereich haben wir nicht genutzt, weil wir super schönes Wetter hatten, haben uns den Bereich nur angesehen und hätte uns dort gefallen.

Die Junior Suite war sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Der Wellnessbereich war sehr relaxing. Frühstücksbüffet war auch super. Wünschenswert wäre gewesen, der Hinweis, dass die Juniorsuite im Nebengebäude ist und nicht direkt im Hauptgebäude mit direktem Blick auf die Berge. Die Bedienung im Restaurant mit dem grünen Dirndl und blonden Haaren war auch sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Trotz der Corona Einschränkungen war alles gut , alle waren bemüht den Gästen einen angenehmen Urlaub zu ermöglichen.

Tolles Hotel, das die 4*S zurecht trägt. Man fühlt sich rundherum gut umsorgt. Der Wellnessbereich ist klasse und der Restaurantbereich in dem auch das Frühstück stattfindet ist sehr einladend und stilvoll gestaltet. Wer allerdings nicht im Hotel zu Abend essen möchte, ist aufs Auto angewiesen. Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits, ist aber genau deshalb so schön ruhig und gemütlich.

Wir waren im Großen und Ganz zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt im Alpenhotel Oberstdorf. Allerdings fanden wir das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz passend. Frühstück war sehr gut. Für das Preisniveau hätten wir aber speziell beim Abendessen ein höheres Niveau erwartet.
Schade, dass auf den Wunsch eines Allergikerzimmers nicht eingegangen wurde und wir ein Zimmer mit Teppichboden hatten.
Ansonsten: Schöner, ausreichender Wellnessbereich, gute Atmosphäre im Hotel, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Als Hotel für einen Kurztrip mit Wellness und Fitness ideal. Natürlich sind in der Zeit von Anfang November bis Mitte Dezember die meisten Einrichtungen in Oberstdorf und Umgebung geschlossen. Hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört weil der Fokus eh auf Wellness und den Fitnessraum gelegt waren. Das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Immer wieder gerne.

Das Hotel liegt ca 10 Autominuten von Oberstdorf entfernt, es verfügt über einen kleinen aber feinen Wellnessbereich, Handtücher und Bademantel inclusive. Leider ist der Weg von den Nebengebäuden zum Wellnessbereich recht lange und der unterirdische Gang verwirrend. In den depandancen gibt es keine Aufzüge. Unser Zimmer war firstclass, außergewöhnliche Einteilung, alpenländischer Stil. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man in einem 4-sternehaus erwarten darf. Personal war sehr freundlich. 25 Euro Zuschlag für Halbpension sind angemessen. Das Restaurant ist teils bayrisch gemütlich teils vornehm. Am Buffet geht alles ruhig und ohne Gedränge über die Bühne. Fazit: preis-leistungsverhältnis tadellos, außer den viel zu engen parkbuchten gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.
