Just why we needed! We were only in the park for 2 days, Curry village was a perfect location and set up to maximize the time we spent on the trail and exploring the valley. Every direction you look from the property is stunning scenery. Clean tent, plenty cozy with the heater (it would have been very cold without!). I recommend bringing extra blankets/sleeping bags. Also, rent bikes! It’s the best way to see all of the sites without the hassle of finding parking or waiting on shuttles. Plus, it’s completely gorgeous on the bike paths.

First experience wasn’t great as the staff member that checked us in wasn’t at all helpful. This instantly created a negative impact on the start of our trip. We could hear another staff member being very welcoming, super friendly and giving his guests lots of useful information, it was just unfortunate we got someone who clearly couldn’t be bothered making even the smallest effort.

If you want to disconnect this is the place. Stayed In the basic tent so no heat, electricity for 1 light. You can can charge near the front office and have WiFi. You’re right in the middle of Yosemite with a large parking lot and a shuttle to take you round trip around the valley. Also no food allowed in the tents but they provide a bear proof container outside.

Curry Village is one of the best options to stay in Yosemite village. It's close to trails to Half Dome, food court, bike rental. Shower facilities have improved significantly since I last visited 10 years ago. Highly recommend this place to people who wants to stay close to the nature.

Going to bed and waking up in Yosemite Valley is amazing! Being able to enjoy a beer on the deck and find your favorite coffee in the early morning is comforting and heartwarming. Staff at check-in, at the food establishments were excellent: welcoming, friendly, ready to help, in the busy-ness of it all. Parking was a little like musical chairs - and we eventually found spaces. Our tent cabin was clean, with 2 towels, sheets, pillows, and a blanket. We also brought our own sleeping bags. Even though everything was really clean, we did see mice droppings. We chalked it up to outdoor living and it was no problem for us.

It’s fun time camping!! Clean toilets and showers, nice staff lots of nice food and snack options. Definitely get a tent with a heater if you are going out of summer season. Loved it, would definitely book again. The trails are amazing it’s the most beautiful place EVER and staying here you are in the heart of it all. Amazing.

Clean cabin. The main blanket was a sleek poly blanket, but not warm enough by itself in the unheated cabin. There were extra wool blankets, but they slide off during the night.
Parking was packed due to Spring Break crowd. Had to park at the Ahwahnee the first day.
Shower house by the pool was better than the one just south of the village (more & better clothes hooks)

Parking was good, property is well maintained and people are good at the registration office. The only complaint I have is with the bedding. When we stayed, it snowed in the night and the blankets and the comforter provided was very thin and we were not able to sleep in the night due to cold even after taking two blankets per person. The tent was unheated. I feel the management should have better blankets or let the people staying know in advance so that they prepare for it. The experience we had was uncalled for.

We got lucky with parking but there didn’t seem to be enough. The tent cabins are very close together. Lots of noise. I was impressed with the accessibility of the bathroom and shower. We didn’t have to wait at all. Food was pretty good too. There’s linens and pillows on the beds and towels to use for the shower and pool (when it’s open).

The location could not be better. We booked an unheated cabin April 8-10th. I was concerned it might be too cold with lows in the lower 40’s. They give you one down blanket and you get an extra wool blanket if you ask. We stopped at a Walmart and bought inexpensive sleeping bags. I’m glad we did. It was an incredible stay, food was easy, and hiking could not be better in April. The showers were warm, and bathroom adequate, they could be cleaner but we didn’t expect much for a National Park.

It's like stay in a slum, the tents are on top of each other. You can here everything from the tents in the area.

Great affordable place to stay when seeing Yosemite! No frills, but fine for our needs. Pros: super central, decent, not-exorbitant nearby dining options, fairly comfortable bed. Cons: parking could sometimes be quite difficult, pillows weren't great (but better than full-on camping). Fun summer-camp vibe, with lots of people camp-cooking outside their tent.

We booked our stay at Curry Village through Expedia for Easter weekend, and it turned out to be one of the best trips me and my sons have ever had. Everything about the experience was smooth from booking to check-in and it made the whole trip stress free.

Yosemite National Park was absolutely breathtaking. We packed our days with adventure, hiking the Mist Trail, exploring Mariposa Grove, and making our way out to Mirror Lake. Every spot we visited was unforgettable, and seeing all the waterfalls flowing this time of year was just incredible.

Curry Village was a perfect base for a great location, easy access to everything, and just an awesome vibe being surrounded by nature. My boys had an absolute blast, and honestly, so did I. It’s a trip we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Huge thanks to Expedia for helping make this experience happen. Definitely a trip we’ll never forget.

Being in the center of the national park was fantastic. Since it was a short trip, not having a fire pit or cooking site was not an issue since there were places to eat. The shuttle system they have is so helpful when getting around without having to wait for a parking spot. I’m already planning my next stay

Very beautiful, close by to hiking and walking areas, clear signs, tents were good, showers and restrooms clean. Unfortunately we had to check out early since four buses full of teenagers showed up the same day as we did they were loud at night, full of energy. Slamming restroom doors often, running around our tent area. We would be back but not for more than one day. Over all it was a great experience.

We stayed in a 5 person canvas tent with beds, which felt like \"glamping\" for our family that is used to simple campground accommodations. It was very comfortable and a wonderful way to be in the park for our short visit without either hauling a tent along, paying hotel prices, or spending time driving in and out of the park.

This is the second time I have stayed here and I find it super convenient for hiking in Yosemite since it is located right at the start of many trails. Also Curry Village is very friendly with a very well stocked store and a coffee shop which opens early in the morning which is great when you want to start the day early.
Unheated tents are touch and go at this time of season so make sure you are well dressed at night.

This is a very good option for visiting Yosemite. You have direct access to all the sites you would want to visit during your stay. By staying in the park, you can get to all the sites before the day-use tourists get in the park, then the park gets super busy.
There are decent dining options. There is a small grocery/gift shop, which is decent as well.
But be prepared. This is one step up from being at a campsite. Bring your own snacks, for sure (but you must store them properly due to the wildlife). If you are visiting in any part of the cold season, bring your own sleeping system (sleeping bag +). I stayed in a \"non-heated\" tent, and it was very cold out. The \"blanket\" provided was totally inadequate to keep a person warm through the night. If I had to describe the blanket, I would say that it's like two pieces of nylon sheet sewn together. They are slick as well. It would not stay covering my body during the night, and it ended up on the floor.
The restrooms and showers were adequate, but stay busy all the time.
All that being said, I would highly recommend the location for CAMPERS who want to stay in the park but just want a step up from their own tent, or who cannot get a campsite reservation (they book up quickly). In fact, one would be better off with a purchased tent, as most are designed to keep body heat in and the cold air out.
Either that or reserve a \"heated\" tent. But I cannot speak to these, because I didn't use one.

Curry village is like an upgraded camping spot! So if you love tent camping this is the place for you. Beds are comfy and the heaters in the winter are great!!! The room has basically no soundproofing—we can even hear people in the next tent sneeze. But hey, isn’t that part of the fun of camping? 😄
There’s a heater in the room, and it feels like all the warm air stays up near the ceiling. If you’re feeling too hot, just sit down or lie down and you’ll cool off pretty quickly.
