Christopher
Excellent customer service. Super easy check in process. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.
Kerry
Convenient location. Helpful staff. Good breakfast offerings.
Nancy
Excellent staff. Had a television issue but it was addressed promptly. Nice safe hotel.
Christopher
The hotel was overall a nice well kept facility and the staff were friendly. In fact they were very helpful in mailing back a book that had got misplaced in the room. The only issue we had was that despite reserving a king bed ten months earlier when we arrived they told us we had to have two queens. No other offer of upgrade, refund or explanation was given. Arriving on the day and expecting your choice of room is foolish, but ten months in advance should be enough to reserve a room for a night of your preference. Other than that the hotel was clean and tidy and the breakfast was warm and fresh. So a mainly positive, if not excellent experience.
Mark

Rooms were super clean and staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
Saul
The room was comfortable, staff was helpful & breakfast was delicious with a nice assortment of hot & cold items. Will stay again in future.
Delia
Staff was rude. We got there late and asked for a late check out and was just told No! Room was clean but at 10:45 we started getting random calls as if to tell us we gotta go. When we answered it was a answering machine
Jaclyn
Breakfast was a bit lacking, but rooms where clean

The only issue I have is they did not clean the room after I slept. The only time they clean the room is when I checked out.

It was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The building was clean and in good repair, from what I could see. Around the property was pretty unattractive. Parking lot lacking. Not much outside care seems to be given. Those I met were very nice and helpful, as always. The outside around the building could use a face lift for sure, but I would recommend the motel, which I did this last visit to Oskaloosa. Two other families joined us.

This obviously a Quality Inn that has recently been completely renovated, making it clean, modernized and beautiful. One pof the best I've stayed in for some time!

Could have a larger breakfast area, was crowded and only 4 tables available. Was very clean staff was friendly. Best super 8 I have stayed at.

I canceled my reservation the day I made it. I canceled it before 2 pm. The deadline was 4 pm. It was ok if I had to pay for one day. I reserved the room for 4 days. Since I made the reservation with Expedia they took the money from my account. When I first notified them through virtual chat the chat line told me I would be getting a refund. But as the days dragged on they told me they couldn’t get the motel to release the reservation. I called the motel and they said they have nothing to do with the reservation or the money since I went through Expedia. So Expedia blatantly lied and refused to give me any money for the 4 days. Don’t use Expedia. If you do don’t cancel your reservation cause you will not get it back even though it says you can cancel before a certain time they will keep your money.

Room and bathroom clean. Appreciated the refrigerator with freezer to freeze our cooler refreezable ice pack. Could improve on the breakfast selection, and quantities. We came down at 8 AM and their was very little left.
Sena
We stayed for 2 nights. Staff was friendly. Our room and air conditioner was great! The price was excellent! The breakfast ok, just enough to get a person on the road. Their is a diner next door that is excellent-open 6am-2pm if you want larger breakfast or lunch.

Squeak, Squeak, SQUEAK.
I have never slept in a bed that squeaked so bad., not even in the 60's.
Dianne
Mediocre cleanliness
Our room was not cleaned well before we arrived. The toilet had little bits of what looked like black dried feces in the bowl. The shower curtain was discolored at the bottom and the rim of the sink basin had hair and dirt up under it. The towels and wash cloths were stained.
Darla
Cleaning service was friendly and helpful.
Lori
It was ok seemed very high priced for a super 8 $155
Abraham
The hotel manager, is very unfriendly towards 3rd party bookings and will not help whatsoever if there is any trouble or mistakes in booking. Stay away, he will purposely and willingly be unhelpful.
Abraham
Staff can be way more helpful and nicer to his clients no matter how they book. Entire hotel smells like a casino and breakfast is the same all week and seems like it’s just re-heated/recycled day to day. I’ve been staying at the budget inn down the road instead for better prices clean rooms and better location.
Abraham
Staff not helpful at all and actually kind of rude to be honest, go stay at the budget inn a block down the street. Friendlier staff location and same room for the same or better price.
Teresia
Pleasantly Surprised
The place was lovely, clean and quite comfortable. The room was not cramped but spacious and I was easily able to work at the desk - important for my stay. When you check in though confirm the frequency of room cleaning and whether you have to request cleaning if you want it prior to the set time.
Abraham
Clean and updated room, friendly staff. Was here for work for almost a week and will stay here again if I come back.
Brian
No place to hang up clothes. Breakfast was poor. Good value
Scott
It was an old building but the rooms were very nicely renovated.
Gloria
My daugher and I came there during a snowstorm. We got there late, understandable after driving a 5 hour drive in almost 9 hours because of said snowstorm. Granted, that it did snow, they could have at least attempted to plow and shovel their property, and they did not. I walked through about 6 inches deep of unshoveled snow to get to the desk. Yes, we came late, but there should be somebody awake on duty, not me having to wake someone up. The man looked unkempt, he scratched his behind before taking my card. I had to sanitize my cards. My daughter and I got to the room to find that the heat was off in the room. It was 8 degrees outside. Why is there no heat in the room? Because they didn't turn it on. And then, when we looked at the beds, the bedding had stains on it. There were half pillows on the beds. The towels were cheaper than walmart quality. My daughter and I did not stay there. We marched out of there, demanded a refund and went to a different hotel. And he was shocked that we left. THERE IS NO WAY YOU COULD PAY US TO STAY AT THAT NASTY PLACE! A WHOLE BUNCH OF NOPE! I WILL NEVER AGAIN RESERVE AT A SUPER 8!!!!
Jackie
we have nothing to complain about they were very nice

Clean and quiet. The air conditioner in our room didn't work well but otherwise we had a good stay.
Brian
My room has been recently remodeled and was very fresh looking. I was pleasantly surprised.

Mike was friendly and went out of his way to come to my room to assist me with my TV. The facility was immaculate and quiet. I highly recommend the property.
Todd
Great A/C Nice and Clean.

Perfect for the stay for the trip
Dean
A very good stay
Gregg
The fridge didn’t work and they didn’t have a replacement. For 3 days they were out of coffee creamer. The guy who was there was clueless. No elevator.
Don
I did not like the breakfast, it was leftover from previous days and tasted bad. There is no elevator so had to carry luggage up the stairs. I had to leave early for an emergency, and they would not give me a refund.
Jerald
nice place to stay
gregg
Desk staff were efficient but not outgoing. Location is quiet and a little out of the way for many travelers. Basic no-frills motel. Beds are comfortable. Hot water is no problem. A variety of dining places within a short drive. Good breakfast with hot and cold selections, but options were not replaced as they were used up, so if you come late there are fewer options. Would choose this motel again if staying in the area.
gary
For a super 8 it was way above average
Doug
Everything was great!
Mark
Everything is good at this motel
Cliff
The property was clean. The parking lot, flower beds all looked great. Then you enter the property and see that it is well kept up as well. Room was simple basic room which was great for me. It was very clean and bed was good.
Mark
It is just an average motel in a small town

Breakfast was not good. Coffee was instant coffee. Our bed creaked. I woukd not stay again.
Sherrie
The hotel was under construction, so that was a surprise. However, they only did work between 8-5, so it didn't interrupt my sleep at all. The room I had was really nice and obviously very recently renovated. I'm usually a Marriott loyalist, but I chose this b/c it was $100 cheaper than the Fairfield Inn, and I have to think that the room was just as nice. The breakfast was really good (yogurt, cereal, fruit ... and instead of the usual wet eggs, it was biscuits and gravy that tasted homemade).
John
There are a lot of low to mid-range options in Oskaloosa. You would think the property would want to cater to families.
Breakfast was HORRIBLE. Two cereal options, bread to make toast and fruit that was not fresh. There were ZERO protein options. There were ZERO hot items. This was a huge disappointment. When we return to Oskaloosa our business will be going somewhere else.

Good hotel
The hotel was fine for what it was. Not a high-end hotel, but that's not what I was looking for. Bed was comfortable, A/C & heater quiet, room good size, overall quiet. They were doing some remodeling while I was there, so some tools and equipment in the halls, etc. but did not affect my room or my stay. Very convenient location, but then, nothing in Oskaloosa is very far from anything else!

Good room for the price.

Quiet and clean
This was a 2 day last minute stay. The property is undergoing renovations but was still pretty quiet and exceptionally clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, even though i was ill, it was a pleasant stay.
Kenneth
It is not very pleasing to find blood on the top sheet on multiple spots. So I slept with no covers. And the next room had a person that snored like a freight train. It was not a good stay.
Audie
The room was comfortable although the thermostat was turned all the way down. It was a cold day and took some time to warm up the room. The hotel was advertised on Expedia as offering breakfast. There was breakfast but it consisted of Fruit Loops or raisin bran. There was no hot food offered.
