Faded gem but still has charm

This hotel is a classic old spa hotel. The grand entrance on the park side is largely closed off, with a new glass atrium entry on the back alley. But it's worth peaking into the old grand foyer and even the music hall on the top floor.

The rooms are fine, although our room for three was just a queen bed so our daughter slept in the loveseat.

The breakfast and dinner are included in the rate. It is all right, but there are very limited options. The meals seemed geared for large groups of elderly visitors. The dining space is elegant, if tired.

The indoor pool is not huge, but pleasant and we enjoyed our swim. They also provide access to a large outdoor pool 10 minute walk away.

The hotel good use a thorough refresh, but all in all, we are glad we stayed for a night.

Great value for money in an amazing setting

3 night stay at an amazing place with lots of character. Very helpful staff. Much appreciated their ability and willingness to speak english.
Excellent food considering number of people being served and good choice of drinks.
Had to move room as lock on door had been forced and insecure repair.
Bathroom not properly cleaned. No problem in sorting room change where no problems with cleanliness or security. Spa facilities a bit dated and limited in size considering the size of the hotel.but enjoyed the sauna every day.

No indication that there is no AX in the room. We had to pay extra for AC room and worsed of all AC did not work good. We been waking up sweating.
The local tax fees was much more than Expedia told us in the statement

Beautiful hotel set in a lovely thermal resort. Big spacious clean rooms, attentive staff, good food and relaxing spa. Just perfect to recharge the batteries and have a few days of quiet rest.

Beautiful place, however not worth the high cost

Lovely, but not worth the cost. The \"included\" dinner was a buffet of substandard food. If you are not with a tour group, you are given poorer quality rooms and largely ignored.

Not the greatest...

I was simply not pleased. The hotel pictures were unfortunately deceiving. perhaps not the room picture, unfortunately not much to right home about. Hard beds single mattress, no frills to the room or amenities. No iron in the room and the hotel \"wellness center\" was outdated and not that pleasant. Wish I had more to say... there ballroom was amazing...

It is a lie.

This hotel advertised to be hot spring hotel. Their brochure stated that the thermal pool is a few minutes walk. It turned out to be 20 minutes walk and you had to climb a small hill. When we arrived, we asked about the pool, hotel staff informed us that the pool was closed for renovation. That information was never mentioned in Hotels.com or hotel own website.

Tam bir güzellik harikası .. kapalı termali bulunuyor.. bornoz ile gidiliyor.. yemekleri iyi değil ancak sabah kahvaltı biraz iyi. akşam yemeğinde içeceklerin hepsi ekstra.. otel çok büyük ve rahat..onun dışında odaları temizlemiyorlar sadece yatağı topluyorlar.. diğer personelleri çok iyi.. konumu çok güzel..

Tutto ok per la location ma orrendo il cibo. Il giorno di Natale era un giorno come qualsiasi altro senza onori e senza gloria. L'hotel è in fase di ristrutturazione e tutto era presentato sotto tono. Non adatto ad una residenza storica e importante come il Grand Hotel Rogaska. Mi dispiace ma io per il futuro avrei qualche seria difficoltà a ritornarci.

Buon rapporto prezzo/qualità, pulito e silenzioso. Personale disponibile, preparato e con buona conoscenza della lingua italiana. Piscina interna non particolarmente attrezzata, sauna confortevole ma non meravigliosa.
Non adatto ai bambini. Menù a buffet soddisfacente, non eccezionale, con cucina internazionale di media qualità.

Ich würde gerne mein Geld zurück haben!!

So beginne ich meinen Aufenthalt im Hotel... wohnen auf einer Baustelle für das Geld ist nicht angebracht!!
Holzleisten sind abgefallen, Klo dreckig, Teppich mit Flecken, Schlüsseltresor ohne Schlüssel, und zuletzt Lärm von Bauarbeiten!! Grundsätzlich vieles Beschädigt!!
Outdoor Pool geschlossen wegen Umbauarbeiten (bei 31 Grad)
Essen war grauslig für Vegetarier nur Nudel mit Tomaten Soße!
Fleisch nicht richtig zubereitet!

Ambiente maestoso, camera spaziosa, ambienti tutti molto puliti, tranquillo. Buffet ricco e camerieri attenti.
Noi abbiamo soggiornato nel corpo centrale dove le camere non sono nuovissime ma molto accoglienti e curate. Per il prezzo pagato (in mezza pensione e accesso gratuito anche al centro termale Rogaska Riviera poco distante a piedi) è stato super ottimo il rapporto prezzo qualità. La clientela è italiana e dell'est Europa (molti russi) e l'ambiente informale, anche a cena. Lo consiglierei ad amici e conoscenti per una vacanza termale.

Beau batiment, parc agreable, rénovation nécessaire sur certain points , chambre, piscine, Restaurant qui ferme trop tot 21H00, petit dejeuner de qualité vraiment moyenne, jus d'orange poudre dilué, peu de choix de confiture de qualité moyenne, etc;.. dommage l'endroit fait rever mais au bout du compte c'est moyen.

Un hôtel de grande taille un peu hold style plus adapté à un séjour en famille que pour affaires. Le restaurant n'est qu'un simple buffet, dehors il y a très peu de places de parking.

Gammeldags spahotell med østblokkpreg

Et spahotell blant mange på en øde plass som virker å ha opplevd sin storhetstid. Halvparten av bygningene virket forlatt og til salgs. Utendørsbassenget lå drøyt 500 m fra hotellet og bar preg av forfall. Sikkert et ok sted for spa og avslapning. Hvis ikke, styr unna.

Flott sted, nydelig bygning og område. Velstelt og innbydende. Gratis parkering og halvpensjon inkludert. Skulle være aircondition på alle rom, noe det IKKE var, så det var grusomt varmt om natten.

Cet hôtel est sympa mais sur l'annonce il est marqué TRES GRAND LIT ce qui n'est pas du tout le cas. Au contraire le lit est pour une personne et tout petit. La clim ne marche pas et la télé non plus. Pour le reste, l’hôtel est bien.

Hotel di dimensioni medie con un ottimo centro benessere, camere pulitissime, personale molto disponibile.
Colazione e cena solo a buffet.
Qualità del cibo buona.
Ottima posizione per chi vuole raggiungere le nuove terme di Olimia a soli 14 km. Da consigliare per una vacanza rilassante.

Uživali, odmorili se i napunili \"baterije\" u wellnesu i na bazenu. Naročito suprug kojemu je to dobro došli nakon lječničke terapije. Osoblje ljubazno i hrana je odlična.
Hotel je u samom centru, osoblje ljubazno i uvijek na pomoći.

Сказочный отдых в Рогашке

Великолепный отдых в Гранд отеле Рогашка и в самой Рагашке. Качество обслуживания на высшем уровне, особенно персонал ресторана. Внимательные и отзывчивые официанты, выполняют мгновенно любую вашу просьбу.
В номерах чисто, но в номерах стандарт не удобные кровати( очень низкие), и желательно обновить мебель. А в целом не плохо и ремонт сделать косметический.
Местоположения отеля идеальное, в шаговой доступности до всего.
С удовольствием приехали в этот отель второй раз и не пожалели. Планируем вернуться еще не один раз.
Советуем всем, не пожалеете.

Malgré les colonnades de la façade : hôtel modern

j'ai été attirée par le charme de la photo extérieure du bâtiment et j'espérais trouver un hôtel de charme dans ce superbe bâtiment. Grosse déception : ce qu'ils appellent \"wings\" ou \"ailes\" n'appartiennent pas au bâtiment original mais ce sont des hôtels qui ont été rachetés et l'ensemble est vendu sous le nom de \"Grand Hotel\". A l'intérieur, le style est résolument moderne et ressemble davantage à un Ibis qu'à un hôtel de charme. La nourriture est infecte : diner et petit déjeuner. Une étape que j'aurais préféré éviter.

Ville d'eaux agréable entourée de collines boisées. C'est un hôtel au charme traditionnel, entouré d'autres beaucoup plus modernes. A conseiller de ce point de vue. Notre chambre supérieure n'avait pas le grand lit annoncé mais deux juxtaposés. Le mitigeur de la douche marchait mal. Les repas (buffet) en demi-pension sont corrects, sans plus. Rien à redire sur tout le reste (massages, transfert depuis l'aéroport de Zagreb, accueil).

Отдыхали в отеле с 20.10 по 4.11 2014 года. Отель старинный, со своим шармом, но хорошо отремонтированнный и удовлетворяет всем современным запросам. В номерах очень чисто, убирали каждый день, полотенца меняли каждый день. Замены постельного белья была два раза в неделю. Питание нам в целом понравилось, завтраки очень хорошие, всегда есть овсяная каша и гречка, есть, чем накормить детей и тех, кто приехал лечиться. Вот в обед и ужин с диетической едой труднее: она есть не всегда, а приготовленных на пару или вареных белковых блюд нет вообще, хотя ездят туда люди лечить желудочно-кишечный тракт. Еда вся свежая и вкусная. В отеле есть бассейн, он небольшой и подходит для релаксации и отдыха. Есть сауны и фитнес-зал. Официанты приятные и ненавязчивые. В целом отель тихий и располагает к отдыху. Вечерами играет живая музыка. Очень хорошая кофейня в отеле! Кроме отсутствия диетпитания, нас немного напрягала полутьма в номерах, в коридорах и в бассейне. Ездили с детишками 5 лет и 5 месяцев. Малышу предоставили кроватку, старший спал на диванчике, он не раскладывался, но ребенок помещался. В веллнес-салоне попробовали массажи и маникюр. Понравился массаж головы. Маникюр тоже хорошо сделали. Отлично отдохнули!

Ordered the Hotel mid August, with HB with the intention of visiting
near by returning in the evenings
- Stuff at reception did not speak English.
- stuff at breakfast and dinner did not speak English.
- Dinner is served only until 21:00 and there are no other options around the hotel.
- Hotel is big and complicated without enough signs to find your way inside.
- coffee at breakfast is served by the stuff that is not available after one cup.
- Room is comfortable but the furniture inside the room had better days long time ago.

Хороший отель с потрясающим видом из окон (если вид на парк).Чистый воздух , уникальная вода-возвращаешься из Рогашки помолодевшей лет на 10. Питание вкусное и разнообразное. Комнаты с высокими потолками. Всем живущим в отеле можно посещать комплекс бассейнов Рогашка Ривьера.Неудобно,что полотенца туда нужно носить из комнаты,а потом просить поменять их т. к.в наличии только одно большое полотенце.На процедуры в лечебный корпус и на массажи принято ходить в халатах- это очень удобно , но халаты поменяли только через неделю после настойчивых просьб.Персонал вежливый, везде чистота и порядок Если не считать мелких недочетов,отель понравился.
