We spent 3nights at the Imperial and it was a superb hotel. They were able to accommodate an early check in for one of the 2 rooms which was super helpful and they had the other ready efficiently.
Theblift wasn't working during our stay but the reception staff helped with bags and also stored our pushchair for us as we were travelling with a baby.
The breakfast was tasty and served in a lovely room with friendly staff who were also very efficient.
We had an issue on the last day that a payment had been taken from the cards held to the room in error. The staff were very apologetic and while it took a few days to sort out the money was returned to our cards.
Overall a great hotel with splendid, if not ostentatious, decor and helpful, friendly staff. Would 100% recommend.

I left some comments when I checked in, but I will follow up. I love Vilnius, and I love Imperial Hotel & Restaurant! For my own personal needs, there was so much walkability I didn't even spend much money, except for the moon drum @ Art Forest Cafe and Good Coffee in Uzupis. (Worth it) I had the same nice female leaving as when I arrived and we had a great conversation when I left. She told me some things about Vilnius that I wanted to know and genuinely seemed interested in me. I'm no narcissist, but, at times, it can be hard to find someone where you can have an actual give and take conversation without them plowing over you, or it's over when they've told you all about themselves. It's possible I would return to Vilnius, and if do, it will be at this stay. Thank you

Such a beautiful hotel! Everyone was so nice, and while there was a minor hiccup up on my arrival, Dinas at the front desk didn't just rectify the situation, he went above and beyond to ensure that the rest of my stay was nothing short of magical. That right there is the type of hotel employee I only wish I could encounter everywhere I go. Already recommended this hotel to any friends I know who are coming to Vilnius. And a special shoutout to Ramunas at the tapas bar for the great conversations we had over the course of the weekend, and Anna for also helping on Dinas' day off. I can't wait to come back!!

Not my first choice

Our stay was spoiled. At first, we got a stinky room but they changed it to a better one once we requested. No one greeted us with a glass of champagne, as it was listed on the deal at hotels.com. I think the room size of 20sq m was seriously exaggerated, as it was half of it, bearly. It was one of those small boutique hotels, with very conservative design. The location was the best part though.

It was mistake to choose this hotel

The condition of the hotel was not a five start.
I had 2 times problems with WC. Untel they change the broken unit . The smell of the rooms was very bad because of the fitted carpet. My friend they change his room becomes off the smiles.

It was such a pleasure staying at Imperial. The single twin bedroom was a little tight in some areas, but the overall experience was wonderful. I really liked that the housekeeping would come by in the evenings and offer a warm greeting card with the weather forecast for the next day and a piece of delicious coffee candy. The breakfast was good as well and there was a decent selection available each morning. Would stay here again.

Very nice location! Easy to get around the old town. We had the breakfast included and it was fantastic. Waitresses were super attentive and very helpful.
Unfortunately, the spa facilities were closed and were not informed about it in advance. Overall quite a nice hotel, but with its own vibe.

My girlfriend wanted to use the hotel for the spa reason however when she went down to use the Spa they told her she will have to wait for an hour bc jacuzzi has to be requested before.
Also the bathrooms are so small it’s so difficult to use them
However if you want to be in the center of the town go ahead enjoy the hotel

Great location to stay in old part of Vilnius. Nice hotel, booked superior king, had a beautiful view of the square. Stayed Mon-Wed, so it was pretty quite at night after 11pm. There was an issue the A/C - they don’t turn it on until mid-June. It was ok to sleep with the windows open, but there is no screens, so flies and mosquitos are in the room Had dinner at the Hotel’s California Bar one evening (was poring rain). Ok for a drink and small bite, wouldn’t recommend for dinner.

A delightful hotel reminiscent of an age of elegance. The main dining room was fit for a royal dinner and the California Tapas bar served excellent food and drink until midnight. Breakfast was I excelled - one day in the room with a tower of breakfast samplers along with eggs Benedict, eggs cooked to order, crepes, and French toast. The staff was helpful and generous with their time. Every recommendation was spot on. Can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Vilnius.

A great city break

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
The room and hotel was lovely, nicely decorated and with a very warm atmosphere. The rooms are quite spacious and have a cosy, old-fashioned style, slightly dated but well maintained.
Staff were very friendly and hospitable.
The breakfast looked small at first glance but it had actually great variety and everything was made fresh and tasteful.
Location wise the hotel was also great.
The restaurant with the same name but also the California bar both situated in the hotel had truly amazing food and are both a must to try if you are staying as a guest or not.
Overall recommended.

This hotel has tonnes of potential. It is in a central location, it's incredibly clean and the staff are extremely good.

Unfortunately if - as we did - you book a standard room, you may have to deal with the noise from outside. It is not the hotel's fault but it is in the entertainment district and, at the weekend, if you face the square it gets noisy. When I complained about this and the condition of our room - to the front desk's credit - we were moved free of charge to a superior room, which was very nice. The standard room had a great view but needs a lot of work, especially in the bathroom - where the shower head wasn't fixed properly and the water didn't drain very well. The superior room was far better in terms of decor and condition.

The hotel charges for things which a 5 star hotel really shouldn't and has strange stipulations too -e.g. coffee pods in the room are 0.99 euros each; water bottles in the room cost 8 euros each; spa access is only free at certain times; and many of the breakfast options cost extra (even if - like me - you prepaid for breakfast). By all means charge people extra for more than 2 coffee pods per day or for having caviar for breakfast. But this was just odd.

Honestly the hotel has enormous potential. The staff are extremely good, especially on the front desk. The breakfast available is very good even though the breakfast is small and the breakfast room needs at upgrade.

I would return but it needs work.

The whole stay was amazing. Awesome loft room (Junior suite, room 408) with very comfortable bath tub. Great breakfast buffet and very very helpful staff.

The level of service was the best I have had in any country visited. They were professional and friendly. We received such a lovely surprise for our anniversary with an upgrade and chocolates. Perfect Vilnius hotel

I loved the hotel and it was beautiful. Location is great too if you want to stay in the heart of old town and experience Lithuanian standard of hospitality and excellence! Staff were great.

The small downsides for me were:
Although we went for the Comfort room and it was decorated in a very lovely way, I wish we had better views from our window and a bigger bathroom. If views or bathroom size are important to you, then I would say speak to the hotel before your stay and specify this.

The hotel staff were absolutely wonderful and if you like old school european service this is the place for you! The location of the hotel is also a bonus as it is in old town a near everything including main train station and main bus station. The breakfast was also very good with many choices! Again, I cannot say enough about the hotel staff and service as they were on top of everything!

Our stay at the hotel was most enjoyable. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was a little cramped and too hot - the aircon helped to cool the room down but was noisy. The large bed was comfortable and the room sound-proofed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfasts were very good with a lot of choice. The bar was quite lively and stayed open late. They served bar snacks until the early hours - useful for late arrivals. The hotel was a short walk to the centre of the old city so well situated.

The hotel itself was beautiful, however it is hard for me to rate it as I booked this hotel particularly for my pre-wedding night and photo shoot on the wedding day. We booked 2 rooms-royal suit for one night and junior suit for 2 nights. 3 days before the wedding I realised that late check out for the royal suit may not be available so I called the hotel to upgrade the royal suit to 2 nights. So I can be guarateed that the photo shoot will take place there. I been told by the gentelman that hotel allocated 2 royal suits and I don't need to make any changes. Obviously I was exited about this. To our disappointment upon arrival we been informed that we have only one royal suit and late check out is not available. To my great frustration I been given a double room for the photo shoot, which was dark, small and I hardly could fit my wedding dress there. As you can imagine this is not the best expierence for the bride to be. I learned that I should ask for the confirmations in writing, but would also advise hotel staff to be careful when stating information like this as this could ruin the most important day of someone's life. Also beeing a 5 star hotel I would expect them to make an extra step to solve the problem, unfortunately I felt that nothing was done to make us feel at least a little bit better and leave without bitter taste.
