The breakfast is really really realy good!
Thumbs-up Story: our 9 year kid has lost her Hippo (sleeping stuffy toy) to room services. She was crying and scared of a permanent loss from her toy relation as she said it's her careless fault. She wanted to chase Hippo out in the middle of the night. We communicated this incident with the front desk 小石 Ms. Shi. She took a great care of our stay experience and worked out with her colleagues. Even though we must checked out next day, Ms. shi kept our number to follow up. Yesterday our kid received our toy via China postal delivery service. She was the happiest kid. We know it's not easy, but we know we have one more trustable stay choice in Shanghai.

I thought the hotel had a gym and spa, but there is nothing here. The food was amazing, so I hate to say anything negative, just not sure how it’s a 4 star hotel.

I stayed here during a long layover. The hotel is decent. The front desk personnel spoke sufficient English. The room was spacious with free water to drink and some English channels on the tv. Shower water was nice and hot. Buffett breakfast was good. It was traditional Chinese food. The gym leaves a lot to be desired. The equipment was minimal and very old.

The hotel is reasonably convenient from PVG and the hotel Clean BUT Old Hotel Rooms ,Old Carpets & Stained Sofas.The staff was nice but difficult to understand English.Check Out Quickly & Went To Another Hoet.

The room was as great. Thank goodness there was a free airport shuttle as the hotel was about 30 minutes away from PVG airport. Very friendly staff that spoke English.

Communication is the key problem here. A hotel by PVG and the staff cannot communicate in English. The rooms average but the carpets were terrible. The surrounding is not pedestrian friendly

They didnt have a typical casino they had majong, spa was not in operation until June, breakfast buffet was very bland and more so catered to those from China. This place should be noted as a 3* hotel if that. Location is not really close for tourist to walk to, there are shops but they are for locals. Service was top grade as they let me check out later due to my flight being later along with a shuttle bus to airport.

Definitely recommend!

I had a one night stay at this hotel and I was extremely nervous because it's my first time out of the country. Once I got off my plane I got extremely lost. I ended up getting on the wrong shuttle bus and going to the wrong hotel. The hotel I arrived at called this hotel and they sent someone over to get me. They also helped me get my bags to my room and I'm pretty sure they gave me a larger room then what I booked. The bed wasn't the comfyist but I'm not complaining. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was huge and had all different kinds of things that you wouldn't expect for breakfast. They also took me to the airport and helped me with my bags. Over all I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

The hotel is reasonably convenient from PVG and the refurbished room was decent. The staff was nice but difficult to understand and some things, like arranging the shuttle, are such a hassle they just aren't worth it (I used Uber and a taxi to get to and from the airport).

Taxi driver could not find hotel.

There are two streets in Shanghi with the sane name. We thought we were booking a top end hotel with an upgraded room close to the airport to get a flight connection the next day. It was the ride from HELL. After being in a stinky cab which seemed like forever and triing to tell the taxi driver to call the hotel for directions we finally got to the hotel with a bill 3 times what it should have cost. Make sure you supply the driver with a map to the hotel. The hotel was nice but very little English spoken in this hotel and this part of town. The breakfast was kind of gross. Just settle for the coffee and toast. It is a classy hotel but English speeking westerners will feel out of place.

Dirty hotel do not stay.

I have paid for a 3 adults room with two single beds. As stated in the booking confirmation email all other items were to be supplied for 3 adults but to my horror the hotel marketing officer claims that they do not practice or have rooms for 3 adults so all room supplies were only for two. They claim that I already have a rip off because they have given me a suite which is dirty and has a dead cockroach for 4days of my stay in the bathroom. I was wondering if they do not have a practice of selling 3 adults room then why make us pay for 3 adults. I would definitely recommend all travellers from staying in this hotel.

Not easy to find, many people asking reception by phone for directions, not an international hotel, good parking, surrounding area has very few options for shopping or dining, restaurant is poor, insects in vinegar and soy sauce, not good service. Rooms ok but need updating, breakfast ok but Chinese style, coffee like dishwater.
Ok for an emergency overnight airport stay, nothing else to recommend.

Dissappointing

This hotel advertises as International but is truly just Chinese. Not the best place for westerners or english.
Also, hotel was probably fantastic back when it was new but does show it's age. Air conditioning barely worked. No stocked mini bar.

First and foremost, this should not be categorized as an airport hotel. It is not really close to the airport (30 minute cab-ride) and is very far from the city centre. After taking a 180 RMB cab ride from the centre, I arrived at a slightly run-down hotel. Unfortunately, it was 9 pm and the hotel kitchen had closed. I found a nice little family-run restaurant on the street and had a good dinner. The room itself was ok but certainly NOT worth the four star rating. For example, the water had to be run 4-5 minutes to get warm and the rooms looked like they needed updating. My real beef is with the hotel service though: As I had an early flight the next morning, I asked the front desk to book a cab for me. On the night of my arrival (night before my flight) the front desk phoned me in my room to confirm the booking. Lo and behold: The next morning, the booking hadn't been made and they were frantically trying to hail a cab in the street, Luckily they were able to do so within 10 minutes. But this kind of wishy-washy service I wouldn't even expect from a 2 star, let alone a 4 star hotel. The bottom line is this: Put together the 30 GBP/300 RMB you would have spent getting to this hotel/getting to the airport and put it towards an actual airport hotel. This will save you time/hassle. I will certainly do this the next time.

Wish to stay longer

Staff was very curtious, only manager spoke english. I had a very early flight so, I can't comment on much except the room. Staff had a taxi ready to go to the pudong airport 89 Rmb charged by cabby. Close to mall and very little westerners which was nice.

near to the airport in small china city

Interesting - only westerners there and in the small city it seemed. We had an excellent meal in a small dining room in the hotel at a great price and a great price and service foot massage. An ideal place if you have to get to Pudong airport in a hurry- its 20 mins by taxi to terminal. There are numerous places to eat and an elecrtonics hypermarket nearby. The staff tried very hard indeed, breakfast was a typical chinese one but better than average

A breif synopsis

The hotel is miles from downtown Shanghai. there are no easy liks to get to downtown Shanghai, other than hire a cab. The cab rides up and down are not cheap.
The hotel and staff are freindly and reasonably helpful.

來往機塲、地鐡站恵南站、動物園、和迪士尼也通通有免費的接駁車，但房間的冷氣壞了，只有熱風出，冬天的我都感覺很辛苦，熱到呼吸系統困難，只好把窗開了，還要借用風扇，才有空氣流通的感覺，便能入睡。

Dit hotel is zeker geen 4 sterren waard.

Het hotel is niet wat hotels.com zegt wat het is. Er is geen casino, geen gym, geen rooftop restaurant/bar.

Alleen bij de receptie spreken ze Engels. Het ontbijt is heel Chinees, wat opzich logisch is.
Maar mn dieet was daardoor fruit, ei en rijst.

Kamers zijn wel goed echter heel gehorig.
Shuttlebus naar vliegveld en aantal attracties is goed geregeld

空港送迎サービス利用時に確認メールを2度要請したが既読マークのみで返信がなかったため不安になり直接電話した。英語対応のみだったが当日は迎えに来てくれホッとした。デイズニーランドなどのシャトルバスが有り便利。デイズニーランドの迎え時間は、8時半からのショーを見ていると間に合わないので９時から10分程度遅いのが望ましいが、中国人観光客は、10分遅れてきた。
