Kandarpa provided a beautiful and peaceful place to stay during our time in Bali. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and there was plenty to do in the area. They were also happy to help arrange day trips or other activities for us to do while we were there. The place itself is simple, peaceful and relaxing.

Great location and amazing staff

Lovely little hotel tucked away from the busy Ubud streets. The best thing about the hotel is their staff – super attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They really go above and beyond!

The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice, but the dinner options were a bit bland. Airport transfer was smooth and easy and laundry service was great. I'd say the pictures are reflective of the actual hotel, room and surroundings, only thing is that it's a bit dated in places.

I would have given it 5 stars, however, I had some issues with humidity in my room, so it (and my belongings) felt damp and had a smell to it which wasn't nice. The walls are also thin so you hear your neighbours. Because of the close proximity of the pool, it it can sometime get a bit loud and noisy. They're also building a new hotel nearby so there's construction noise too during the day.

The road to the hotel is not at all maintained, and if it had been raining, which was most days, it would be muddy with puddles of water everywhere. Also, with absolutely no light to guide you at night it could feel a bit unpleasant, so just something to consider. I had one tour company who said they couldn't find the hotel at first.

All in all, the staff made it all worth it, and it's a super cute little hotel, so I'd most definitely stay here again in the future!

Fantastic Hotel with excellent facilities! The pool and restaurant are lovely. 20 minute walk into town, close enough to walk but far enough away for it to be peaceful.

Arum and Kurisma (sorry if we've spelt these wrong!) We're just brilliant throughout our 10 night stay, always smiling and super friendly. Would stay here again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So the pool is beautiful, and the staff couldn’t be nicer. The only issue that I have with this property is that the view from the pool doesn’t match the reality, as the website shows a pool surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The reality—as is much the case in Bali—is that several months ago a competitor drained the rice fields and has started construction of another hotel.. so now your view is of a wooden fence, which blocks the construction of their neighbor’s property

Still, the pool is awesome, and with a little work on the fence (a more permanent rock wall/ fountain feature comes to mind) this place would be absolutely fabulous.

Good and comfy little hotel. Room was comfortable. Pool is nice. But the road to get to the hotel is very bad. It's unpaved and hidden. Some taxis can't even find it. It's not really walkable.

The property and the room were nice. It is a small 20 unit hotel, and the staff was really accommodating. The bed was comfy.

Couple of things to note: the pictures of the area behind the pool aren’t accurate. There are building another structure and it is rough.

Also the road access to the hotel is dark and bumpy. This isn’t under the hotel’s control but worth mentioning.

The location is ok, a few minutes walk to Ubud centre, restaurants and coffee shops. We enjoyed our stay.

I loved it. It‘s a little sanctuary just 5-7min walk outside the busyness of Ubud. The road from the main street is a bit scary (very bumpy and no lights at all). But the hotel and the staff is worth it. :)

Kendarpa hotel is wonderful. The pool is beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious and ours had an amazing view of the pool. The hotel is located away from all the noise and in walking distance to a tranquil restaurant with beautiful views of the rice fields and a great food & drink menu, to enjoy your afternoon. You can also walk to a very beautiful Warung which is located next to the property.

The staff at the hotel is very friendly. I ordered a daily papaya juice to my room while I was reading on the balcony overlooking the sunset.

Can’t say enough about this hotel. Thank you!!

This is a really special place, the photos don't quite do it justice. The location is great, it feels like a sanctuary, just a bit set back from the main road and a short walk to the centre of Ubud (we rented a motorbike from the hotel to explore). The staff were great and the breakfast was delicious. I'd love to come back here again.

Nice hotel away from busy Ubud

The hotel is nicely situated in a calm area with rice fiel view. But in walking distance from Ubud center. It is modern and clean. Great breakfast choice including smoothie bowls. Great pool to relax.
Only little complaint is the housekeeping. After a customer departure they start cleaning the room without maybe thinking that it is still early and people in the next room are still sleeping. Very loud voices and moving of the furniture. Really bad start in the day

This is the place to stay in Ubud. It is peaceful but close enough to the centre. They also offer a free taxi service in and out of the centre of Ubud. Dewa and his team are Excellent they make u feel at home and provide a 5 star service.

This hotel is beautiful, good value for money. Stepping out immediately poolside with rice fields and nature on your patio doorstep is incredible.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. New hotel so a few small minor, teething problems. They are still finishing making the 1st floor rooms! Which also meant the hotel felt like it was just for us. I only saw a handful of guests in total. It was so peaceful and serene. Lovely to be so close to nature.

WiFi a little weak and unreliable but this is the kind of hotel you go to disconnect.. so wasn't too much of an issue for us.

What a hidden gem! The hotel is brand new, gorgeous and beautifully designed. The perfect place to rest and recover in the middle of rice fields. Quick access to Ubud center (they have a free shuttle), shopping and restaurants are close by as well as the famous Yoga Barn. Dewa and his team are incredible, I can't express how grateful we are for their service and making us feel right at home. We extended our stay because we love it here so much. We'll for sure be back! Thank you for everything.

The property is not that old but already heavily in decay. Such a shame. Poor building quality. Mold in the entire concrete wall in the room. Other wall that separates two rooms is thin as paper. Woke up from the yelling of the child in the next room. As always in Bali the staff is very friendly and the food is good. Roomservice is great and the seating area outside is really nice! Very cosy. The pool is also very nice. But be aware that the hotel is on a road that does not really exists yet. It’s a dirt road at the moment and heavy construction is ongoing on all the sides of the hotel. Even in the evening at 21:00 and 22:00 pm trucks are unloading heavy rocks etcetera. One other thing is that we told staaf we wanted to rent scooters the next morning en the said that was oké. And than the next morning no scooters where available and no alternative was given also. On a positive note, there is a very very nice pool club right next door to the hotel with some of the best food, and very nice staff, with no minimum spending. Please go there and enjoy your day!

Nette kleine Anlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal und sehr gepflegtem Garten sowie einer sauberen - wenn auch kalten - Poolanlage. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, wir hätten uns aber gerne mehr Auswahl bzw. größere Portionen gewünscht. Das Frühstpck wird als Menü serviert und man kann zwischen 4 Gerichten wählen. Bei Nachfrage bekommt man allerdings auch etwas mehr als sein Menü. Erreichbarkeit der Unterkunft war aufgrund von Bauarbeiten mit dem Auto teilweise nicht möglich und zu Fuß nurüber einen nicht befestigten Weg erreichbar. Dennoch wurde sich im Hotel bemüht, die Am- und Abreise so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Uns wurden die Koffer bis an die Hauptstraße gefahren. Sehr postiv! Das Zimmer war sauber und ausreichend groß für zwei Personen. Ab und zu findet man Geckos im Zimmer, die sind aber harmlos und das Personal hat uns auch geholfen, das kleine Tierchen zu entfernen. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt in der Natur mit einer sehr zu empfehlenden Unterkunft.

The Kandarpa Hotel and its staff are a wonderful place in Ubud to stay. Everything is taken care of very well and maintained in good shape. Additionally the restaurant and breakfast are very delicious and very good value for money.

The only thing to note is the road leading up to the hotel is a dirt road and goes along a construction site - which may feel unpleasant at first. However we had no issues with Drivers picking us up and dropping us off.

Fint hotel beliggende i Ubud. Rigtig mærkelig vej at skulle ned af om aftenen, så hvis man er utryg ved det, så vil jeg ikke anbefale det. Der var en del larm, men alt i alt et fint hotel og sødt personale.

저렴한 가격에 만족하는 숙소였다 일단 음식이 싸고 맛있었다 다만 방에서 퀘퀘한 냄새가 나고 발리 처음 도착하자마자 이 숙소에 들어왔는데 개망했구나 싶을정도로 별로 였다 근데 몇일 지내다보니 적응되서 괜찮았고 방음이 뒤지게 안된다 숙소 들어가는길이 뒤지게 무섭다 밤에 혼자 절대 못나감 다만 아침에는 걸어서 20분 정도 나가면 된다

Hôtel très sympa et calme

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet endroit. L'hôtel est petit, ce qui le rend très chaleureux et calme. Le staff est très attentif et gentil. Les chambres sont assez spacieuses et la déco très sympa. Le lit est de dimension king size et très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est correct et varié. L'hôtel est situé près du centre dUbud (environ 10/15mn en marchant) , mais pour vous y rendre à pied, vous devrez marcher sur une route sinueuse et au traffic assez dense. Pas très rassurant donc, surtout la nuit. Un service de shuttle est disponible pour les résidents de l'hôtel, mais avec des horaires assez restreintes. Il serait donc appréciable de pouvoir bénéficier d'un service de navette le soir qui puisse récupérer les clients de l'hôtel après leur soirée au centre ! Néanmoins nous sommes très satisfaits dans l'ensemble !

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich traumhaft.
Der Pool und die Sitzsäcke sind super gepflegt und schön. Das Hotel liegt sehr idyllisch in der Natur, ist jedoch trotzdem sehr nah an der Stadt.
Es wird dreimal am Tag ein kostenloser Shuttel zum Ubud Zentrum angeboten. Roller sind auch über die Unterkunft zu mieten.
Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und es können verschiedenen Frühstücksmenüs frei gewählt werden.

Von uns gibt es eine klare Empfehlung für dieses Hotel.

En rodage, mais super prometteur!

Hotel très joli, avec un merveilleux potentiel, mais ouvert récemment, encore en rodage donc... 2 jours pour régler des problèmes de clim, 2 jours pour obtenir une couette quand la Clim a été réparée, personnel parlant mal anglais, mais l’hotel Est très joli! Très belle piscine, endroit calme et reposant , devant une rizière, idéal après l’agitation d’Ubud! Après petite période de rodage ça sera un endroit parfait!🤗
