The air conditioning didn’t work properly, our key didn’t work the second time we used it, coffee maker didn’t work, and the phone didn’t work. We were charged by hotels.com for our stay and also charged over 300% of the amount of the stay by Hilton.

We had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival Zenobia P. took care of an issue for us and was very professional. The hotel was full and I was afraid of noise late night... yet the rooms were soundproof. The restaurant was good with excellent service. Best workout facilities and pool area was an A+. The valet team - Justin and Camari - were also helpful and professional. I wish we stayed longer!

Unfortunately the room we were in wasn’t “finished”. The ceiling was drywall (complete with dates and patches??!? We only got a bed made properly 1 out of 3 nights- the bed had a comforter the first 2 nights and no top sheet. It was late so I assumed that’s how they make beds now. It was very odd. If I paid Super 8 prices I’m fine with it but the Hilton is usually better. There were no extra bath towels for your hair, etc. staff was ok- not overly willing to check us in early (no big deal). It was a walk to Broadway (which we expected). Overall, I’d stay somewhere else next time.

The Hotel Fraye has a lot going for it. The location is excellent—close to everything you’d want to do in Nashville—and the property itself is stunning, new, and very comfortable. The design feels fresh and upscale, which makes for a great first impression.
That said, there were a few downsides that kept the experience from being perfect. The front desk staff wasn’t very attentive; on our second morning, we had to wait about five minutes before anyone came to help us. In our room, the cabinet door that should have covered the fridge was missing, which made the space feel a little unfinished. The on-site restaurants all closed at 10 p.m., no room service was offered, and I was surprised to be charged for a late checkout as a Hilton Honors member—something I didn’t agree with.
Overall, it’s a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a prime spot, but the service and amenities could use some fine-tuning to match the level of the property itself.

The view was wonderful. The hotel layout was easy to navigate and the grounds were well lit and safe. The bars and restaurants/cafe had a great selection of booth foods and drinks. Not to mention the pool area bar was incredibly relaxing. Our stay was exceptional from the beginning to end.
