La habitacion estaba de super buen tamaño, excelente para dos personas.
La cama no estaba tan comoda pero pude dormir, el baño era amplio y con todo lo necesario, solo que no habia en si una puerta y se mojaba todo el piso al ducharse.
Creo que necesita unos retoques, pero son minimos. Nos volveriamos a quedar ahi sin problemas.
El desayuno muy completo y muy rico.
Muy convenientemente cerca del consulado americano, que era nuestro proposito.
El staff muy amable y atento.

The host was very friendly and pleasant despite my arriving quite late, about 22:15. The room is nice and would have been a good place to stay for a couple of days rather than my short overnight stay.

The room is up two flights of very steep & narrow stairs so would not work for someone with mobility issues and would not be fun if burdened with heavy luggage.

I visited while on a bicycle tour and much appreciated that a covered & locked area was available for my bike.

The included breakfast was quite nice and can be tailored a bit to your requests.

This is a great place to stay if you need to visit the USA embassy. It is very conviente and breakfast is delicious. Late check out is superb, you can leave your things in the hotel and attend your embassy appoinment without issue.
The only issue is that you have to pay 15€ for parking inside the hotel. I would rather not paying for parking if I am staying at a hotel...

Everythint about this hotel was great. It was so clean and comfortable. Unfortunately in the McDonald's parking lot right outside my window there was people partying until 4 in the morning and i couldnt sleep. The staff said that thid is not normal, so will try the hotel again because the hotel itself was lovely.

Arena is a small lovely hotel. All staff members are very nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with newer furnishings. Breakfast is delicious. And of course, the location is unbeatable if one has an appointment at the US Embassy.

The staff was extremely accommodating. I had an early appointment at the US consulate and flew in just that morning because of other delays in my trip. They checked me in early and I was able to leave my luggage safely in the room to go to my appointment. Location for the US Consulate is unbeatable as well!

I stayed 2 nights since I was going to the US consulate for a visa appointment. The location was perfect, it was just a 10 minutes walk.
Staff was friendly, breakfast had a limited selection but everything was very tasty and fresh, the room was nice and clean. My one complain was the pillows, which was very hard and flat and uncomfortable, and there was only two for the queen size bed so I'm glad I was there alone and didn't have to share them. The road outside was frequented by ambulances with their sirens on, even at night. I didn't care much but if you're sensitive to that, maybe ask for a room that doesn't face the street.
There is a McDonald's and a grocery store down the street but other than that the area was quite limited on restaurants and such.
It was a good stay for a couple of days and very convenient for my consulate visit, but I wouldn't recommend any longer stays in the area.

I stay in this hotel during my trip to US embassy and this hotel just in 5 minutes walk to it. Hotel has everything what you need and super clean. I got very small room and even could not take out all staff from my luggage. Highly recommend to take breakfast - it delicious!

The staff was very friendly. Cleanliness and an outstanding breakfast. Disappointing was having a reserved parking space (critical), but none was available on arrival. Designated smoking at the entrance requires walking through a stench and it flows into the entrance and hallway. Everything else was excellent, and I would return again.

Negative experience due to multiple factors

Experience was a negative one overall. I have several complaints. None of them are deal breakers on its own, but combined it made this stay very unpleasant. The hotel is under HEAVY construction both inside and outside, but it was not advertised as such on Hotel.com or their own website. My room was on the first floor, and I heard construction workers chatting and drilling as early as 7:30 in the morning. It was also situated very close to a metro stop/major road, so the train/traffic constantly woke me up. Definitely do not recommend for light sleeper. Finally, the WiFi comes and goes, and each time you have to type in the hotel's randomly generated password, which is only good for 24 hours so you must request each day. There is also no temperature control in the room and at times I felt a bit cold. The staff members were nice and helpful, but there is only so much they could do to improve the experience. The location next to the metro stop was negative/positive in that it was loud but also convenient to get to downtown Frankfurt (one transfer required).

We won't stay here again...

We couldn't find the hotel because it was surrounded with scaffolding and had no signage. After speaking with a policeman and wandering around I found a little page on a gate that said the name of the hotel. We arrived at 10:00 pm and there were no employees to meet us. I called a number and was told to get a key from a box. The entrance smelled of smoke. The room was in the basement, made my wife and daughter very nervous as there was almost no lighting as we descended down two small staircases to get to the room. The room itself was fine but opening the shades revealed dirt and scaffold legs. Stay here at your own risk.

The hotel was clean, with a good staff, I was just very disappointed to be assigned a room adjacent to the entrance wall where I could hear all evening loud speaking and mostly each time a guest will enter or depart, the very loud noise of the door. I specifically requested via email and in person a quiet area.. I did not rest much and therefore did not enjoy my stay there. Otherwise the staff is friendly and the location is not too bad (heavy construction going around, so you must pay extra attention to find the Parking entrance), No internet networks were available during my entire stay.

So so. The hotel is literally a bigger house converted into small hotel, has 20 or so rooms. Bathroom was so tiny I had to move my cosmetic bag between shower and top of toilet seat since there was zero shelves or counterspace. The window in my room let in all the noise, so I could hear the construction nearby as if the window was open. Room door was tricky, you had to push on it to close from inside and pull towards you to open. Pretty sure hotel had no AC (since there were no controls) and the short timer window on automatic lights in the hallways drove me nuts when I carried my bag upstairs (yes, there's no lift). Front desk doesn't even keep change for 20 euro and asked me to pay by card instead...Hotel is clean and there's easy access to city center by tram, but I think that's it for pros.

Close to our purpose of visiting the area. I am not sure if parking was free, but I paid a fee. At the moment this facility is having a major parking and drive way under constructions, that was not mention on line. May fit two or three small cars in this area. Other than that, service and Breakfast are excellent!

Would stay here again for the price and friendly staff. This is not a US-standards hotel which should be a consideration for some. Rooms have radiator heating which was fabulous in my room but my colleague didn't have any heat and it was only later we found out he could have been given a portable heater. The bathrooms are very new and clean but also very small. Some do not have shower curtains. There is no elevator and all rooms must be accessed through spiraling staircase. Breakfast had enough variety and was good. Staff was very friendly and bilingual. S-bahn across the street and staff will happily call you cab to go downtown.

Reasonable hotel near US Consulate

The hotel did its job of being near the US Consulate and providing parking (which despite what Expedia listed, was free). The staff was extremely friendly and was as helpful as she could be.

Hotel was clean, and reasonably comfortable. I would stay there again if we had to make another trip to the US Consulate.

The only downside is there is no elevator so be ready to use stairs.

This is a basic and comfortable small hotel that is clean and efficient. The bed was comfortable and the room was well cleaned. I enjoyed that the window in my room had a cover where it could completely blind out all the light, that was a nice feature. There is a nice shower in the room. No fridge and no coffeemaker. Fairly basic. The people at the front desk were very kind and helpful and speak terrific English. They were very thorough in helping me with directions for public transportation and other tourist options. For the price paid, this was a great value.

My wife and I stayed at this B & B for just one night, because we had an early flight the next morning and wanted to be near the airport. We loved this place! The staff was very helpful and courteous. The man at the reception desk recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner, and it was just what we hoped for. The only negative is that there is limited parking, so arrive early! We plan to return for a longer visit next summer.

The location is excellent for U.S. Consulate appointments, very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was perfect. The reason I cannot give it 5 stars is because the internet/WI-FI was abysmal at best. I was there on business and went through nearly 80% of my international telephone/WIFI data plan on my first night there due to the incredibly unreliable and poor WIFI. It's surprising they would spend so much time and money on renovations but neglect upgrading their client internet/WIFI accessibility.

I cannot but pay the highest compliments for a lovely turn of the century mansion turned hotel. Rooms are in a tastefully plain decour. Service matching the positive visual display. Frankfurt's center, fair, opera, river within 15 to 20 minutes public transportation reach. Here you definitely get your money's worth.

Great price and with the station just outside, only a short tram ride to the center of the city. The room was small but clean and well equipped.

The only real problem was the lack of air conditioning which meant leaving the window open. With the proximity to the main road this makes it very noisy.

10 min walk from the hotel to the consulate. Hotel is completely new on the inside, and service is great. Very helpful receptionists.
Room was a bit small, and looks like all of them are on the first floor.
They could be better cleaned, as we see dust left in several places.
Breakfast is decent. You get the basic for a reasonable price.

Optimal hotel for a visit to the U.S. consulate

Most of the guests staying in this hotel are probably visitors to the U.S. consulate, which is only 5-10 minute walking distance away. For this purpose, the hotel is REALLY IDEAL. Not only is it close by, but you can also buy the obligatory \"DHL Express Brief\" at the front desk, which applicants for visa must bring to the consulate, so that their passport can be sent back to them. For hungry guests that arrive late, there is a McDonald's in the adjacent building and if you like beer gardens (particularly now in the summer) don't miss to go to the nearby \"Friedberger Warte\" (the medieval tower you can see from the hotel, which is only about 150 meters away), which harbors a nice beer garden and excellent German food. There is a tram stopping immediately before the hotel, which goes to the main train station and city center and a cab from the central Roemerplatz to the hotel costs only about 10 Euro. Thus, even if you do not have to go to the U.S. consulate, this might still be a great place to stay. The rooms are clean and you can have breakfast in house. Breakfast is decent but I assume you can probably eat better in the city. The hotel staff is super friendly and what I like is that you can buy drinks (beer, wine, water, coffee) at the front desk. Rooms don't have air conditioning but a big fan, which was enough for me. Overall, I loved this hotel and would stay there again if I have to go to Frankfurt.

Ich habe dieses Hotel gewählt, da ich einen Termin im amerikanischen Konsulat hatte – die Lage ist perfekt, fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Gerade bei frühen Terminen ist das sehr praktisch, und man fühlt sich von Anfang an gut aufgehoben. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich die Sauberkeit, die wirklich top war. Weiter so! Für zukünftige Aufenthalte in Verbindung mit dem Konsulat werde ich definitiv wieder hier buchen.
