The property has a lot potential however their do need to better some important items,the breakfast is very poor and their need to upgrade where flies won’t be all over the food ,also because the heat and flies the place needs fans , other then that when we went there was under construction so is normal not to be everything do way we expect but stuffs was very friendly and like I mention when the place is completed reformed is very unique . This is a good criticism ❤️

My Niece and I only stayed here 1 night, old saying, \"you pays your money, you takes your choice, pictures make it look grand, maybe many years ago! as for staff speaking French/English etc etc, they must have all been off. Put in a wash to be done, had to ask 4 times when it would be ready, as we were checking out, came back WET, and found out later that Traveling towel was missing. If you want cheap local. this is for you.

Pousada Portas da Amazônia was a nice experience in the historical area of São Luís. It was great to stay here and see the historical part of the city. The food served was good and the pousada had a lot of historical details. There are a lot of options within walking distance to eat, shop, and other activities. We loved seeing the history from the city firsthand.

Essa eh a primeira pousada/hotel que visito em minha vida em que tive que comprar sabão para poder tomar banho. Tb não havia shampoo nos banheiros. Toalha de rosto estava encardida. Parede do quarto estava suja próxima a cabeceira (precisa de nova pintura).

The property is fine, the breakfast is ok, the staff is friendly. The problem is that the pousada is on a street with no car access. The is not disclose when I make the reservation. The taxi left the guesses 2 blocks away, and this is a bad situation because we have to carry our baggage in the street. Next day we have a pickup for to go to Barreirinhas and again the problem, we have to drag our luggage 4 blocks away because no cars at the street. Never more i will stay or recommend this place.

Great location in the historical centre and it’s a very nice old building. However, there is a bar directly below, still in the hotel which is very loud and it goes all night. Really don’t know what they thought that was a good idea.

I stayed with my husband and in laws before heading to Lençois.
The hotel is located within the historical town. The historical town is charming however very run down. So do not expect too much. Quite a few people on the streets however that is not too bad. If the hotel was nice and comfortable you could put up with the location.
The rooms are dirty and poorly maintained. We changed room once and my in laws changed three times. There was black tape on the shower tap so you do not electrocute yourself! Honestly it is a bit shocking.
The staff are in over their heads, trying to help but do not!
The lobby is dark and smells like cat urine.
The breakfast is poor. There were flies over the cut fruit, and the staff just waved their hands over it to move the flies on - DISGRACEFUL!

Stunning historic mansion in centro
The pousada is very well located in the historic core. The attached pizzeria was delicious. The pousada is on a pedestrian-only street which may be a consideration if you are arriving late at night. I heard that it becomes very loud on Friday and Saturday nights but the area felt a bit abandoned when we arrived Sunday night. The building is gorgeous, with insanely tall ceilings and a lovely courtyard. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable though we had a dripping tap. Our room was at the back of the pousada so it was very quiet.

Tres bien grande chambre avec fridge, trés bon petit déjeuner, trés bon emplacement, clim un peu bruyante un ventilateur serait mieux. La moustiquaire est une plaisanterie ou alors c'est un rideau style baldaquin, inutile car il y a des moustiques, à améliorer urgemment!

Experiência legal pois o quarto é todo retrô apesar de tudo antigo e mesmo centro no Centrinho o barulho foi super ok para dormir.
A melhorar: atendimento bem razóavel.Ficar pagando a cada item de consumo na recepção impede o hóspede de consumir. Pq não fazer como TODOS os hoteis onde vc paga no check out?

Experiência péssima. Lugar insalubre e sem higiene alguma nos quartos e tampouco nos ambientes comuns. Exemplo é o péssimo café da manhã: salão que é servido o café com carcaças de frango espalhadas pelo chão para consumo de gatos.
Não tem serviço de quarto e nem troca de toalhas; Wi-Fi nao funciona. Custo-benefício não existe pois é exatamente o contrário do que se diz no site.

Excelente localização, no centro histórico, na rua considerada ima das mais bonitas do país, perto dos principais pontos turísticos. Staff simpático, bom tratamento, café da manhã dentro do esperado. Quarto amplo, ainda possui uma ante-sala. Um 'porém': não fornecem material de higiene pessoal, apesar de dizerem o contrário. A programação da tv é precária, apenas alguns poucos canais locais. Para quem tem assinatura da Netflix, Globoplay,... pode acessar com a sua senha.

Pousada muito bem localizado no centro histórico de São Luís. Mas não é informado que o Taxi não chega na porta da Pousada. Temos que descer uma ladeira puxando malas. Tb não tem nenhuma acessibilidade. Café da manhã muito simples mas bom porém não vi nenhuma preocupação com a Pandemia do COVID. O quarto não tem nada a ver com a foto que está no site do Hoteis.com. É muito pior . O banheiro muito sujo e o fundo do vaso sanitário era horrível de sujo. Falta de limpeza.

Fomos muito bem recebidos. O quarto era amplo com uma varanda para o jardim interno. A locamizacao eh perfeita para quem quer conhecer o centro historico, mas a noite a vizinhanca é meio estranho. A construção tem 300 anos e eh muito charme, mas precisando de um pouco de manutenção. O café da manhã eh justo e tipo bufet.

A pousada tem uma excelente localização, próximo aos pontos turísticos do Centro Histórico. Foi tudo ótimo. O proprietário é bem simpático. Só o café da manhã que deixou a desejar.

La chambre en apparence était très bien à part que les draps, même s'ils étaient propres, étaient jaunis et usés, il y avait des taches et des trous dessus, idem pour les serviettes de bain. Dans la 1ère chambre qu'on nous a donné, il y avait un défaut électriques (défaut d'isolement) dans la salle de bain et on a demandé à changer de chambre. Pour résoudre ce problème dans la seconde chambre, il y avait du scotch sur le mitigeur de la douche pour ne pas se prendre le courant électrique donc très très limites leurs installations...

O Hotel é lindo, tive um problema no check-in, nao sei de quem foi a confusão, mas a minha reserva estava para outro predio do mesmo grupo. O problema foi solucionado e fui acomodada em um quarto maravilhoso, fui super bem atendida por toda equipe.

A sanduícheira podre de suja. Quarto com cheiro insuportável de mofo. Barulho devido ao chão ser de madeira e sem manutenção. Som alto DENTRO da pousada. Pior hospedagem da minha vida. O travesseiro eles pegaram emprestado com algum morador de rua. Era de espuma. Estava sujo e fedorento. Sem padrão algum para receber hóspedes. E olha que nem sou exigente!! A localização é excelente. As instalações são antigas, com alguns problemas de infraestrutura. A Pousada possui muitas escadas e não possui elevador, o que inviabiliza a hospedagem para pessoas com mobilidade limitada, pois há somente 2 quartos no terreo.

Boa tarde, me colocaram no quarto 13, onde eu já havia ficado uma vez, e tinha uma goteira na época, mas o rapaz falou que tinham tirado a mesma e por precaução minha, pedi para mudar de quarto e me colocaram no quarto de 32 onde a TV, não funciona e nem o aparelho de telefone que é só de enfeite, trocaram a TV, do quarto e funcionou, também só havia uma toalha, quando o quarto é de casal, e outra coisa no site diz que a pousada tem estacionamento e quando na verdade não tem.
