not too good of a stay

In general stay was ok. You have to pay for your beach seat and pool seat and the Sauna which I think should be just part of the facilities payment. Not very clean, the toilet don’t have soap in them so I only wonder how the staff wash their Hands.

The hotel is awesome and clean. The area around it is fabulous especially at night. Its right next to the beach which can get really crowded but you can always pay 150 kunas to use the sunbeds and stay away from the crowd.

No Frills by American Standards

This hotel was a \"No Frills\" place by American Standards but the location cannot be beat! Air conditioning did not work well and the rooms were very dated. You are steps away from the beach (100 feet) and equally close to the town center.

Get ready to be ripped off

Very outdated, but I can deal with that. I was furious that I had to pay for chairs at the pool ($14 each daily). When I complained about this they said the room price doesn't include chairs at the pool. By the way they share their pool with 2 other hotels. Also, you have to pay for chairs at the beach.
Rooms are not cleaned well. Maid basically makes your bed and brings you new towels.

Valur for Money

Well located and comfortable hotel. Great service and amenities.

Very pleasant location, 50m from the water. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool outside the hotel, just crossing the street. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Rent och fräscht….det är det positiva.
Skick typ ”Scandic i Uddevalla” = hur kan detta vara 4-stjärnigt??
Står att det ska vara pool på hotellet = ren lögn. Är på hotellet bredvid (!) och har då ca 50 platser för ca 200 + 250 boenden = att få plats där är lika stor chans som att hitta snögubbar i helvetet.
Hotellet ligger vid stranden, men har inga platser, de måste man hyra.
Mat/buffe ingår, men den står man lämpligen över….normal skolbespisning bättre….
Byn Baska dock, om än lite mycket turister, mycket trevlig by

Not a 4 star hotel

The room was not too clean when we arrived, the washbasin was crecked. The armchair was very dirty, only had 2 plastic cups in the room. The parkong lot was always full once we don’t have parking lot so we have to park to the other hotels parking lot. Some of the foods was spoiled like the peach compote. All in all not really like a four star hotel specialy not for this price.

Attention descriptif sur site de réservation

Attention lors de la réservation sur le site lorsqu’il est écrit « seaside », ce n’est pas la vue sur la mer, mais le balcon donnant en rez de chaussée sur le côté de l’établissement avec la vue sur la promenade des piétons les bars et restaurants … De plus, frigo mini bar inexistant alors qu’il était mentionné.

Komme nicht wieder

Parkplatz 2 Häuserblocks weiter, Handtücher haben gemüffelt, kein freier Sitzplatz zum frühstücken musste im stehen Kaffee trinken, Pool auf der anderen Strassenseite und schliesst um 18.00, der Strand vor der Haustür so überfüllt, daß man nicht zum Meer kommt

Virkeligt et lækkert sted lige på stranden, 50 meter.
Fantastisk personale som altid var smilende og venlige.
En rigtig godt sted, dog er strand promenaden meget turisted men ikke mere end i andre områder sydpå.
Stor variation af spise steder, vi spiste dog mest på hotellet da de lavede fremragende mad.

Hotel gut ausgestattet, Zimmer schon etwas abgewöhnt aber noch in gutem Zustand. Minibar ohne Inhalt. Meerblick super auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Keine Möglichkeit ein Wasser usw. im Hotel zu kaufen wir hätten in die Schwesterhotels laufen müssen und das bei Sturm!

De kan simpelthen ikke lave mad. Hotellet er ret slidt. Poolområdet er mindre godt. Pris og kvalitet hænger ikke sammen. Naturen er flot og havet er fint.

Hotel entspricht nicht 4 Sterne!!!

Es gibts beim Abendessen kein Wasser, sowas habe ich in kein Hotel in Kroatien erlebt!! Junior Suite hat kein Balkon, keine Möglichkeit Wäsche zum waschen und trocknen!! Für eine Familie mit Kindern ist das unvorstellbar!!

Hotel w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji. Jedzenie całkiem niezłe. Niestety pokoje ze starym wyposażeniem. W pokojach niestety było brudno, na parapecie warstwa kurzu, wykładzina w kątach siwa, łazienka niedoczyszczona.Wymaga to zdecydowanej poprawy. Z tego powodu hotel nie zasługuje na 4*.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Hotel hat uns nicht nur durch die sehr gute Lage überzeugt, sondern auch durch eine ausgezeichnete Küche.
Der Tag hat mit meinem reichhaltigen Frühstück begonnen. Für das Abendessen bleibt mehr aus ausreichend Zeit (von 18:30 bis 21:00). Tolles Essen, umfangreiche Auswahl, mit Sicherheit für jedem etwas dabei. Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal.
Wir waren höchst zufrieden und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!!

Baska ist wunderschön und der Strand ist perfekt für kleinere Kinder. Hotel war sehr sauber, Personal freundlich! Die Zimmer könnten ein wenig größer sein (2 Erwachsene + 1 Kind)
Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich, Abendbuffet teilweise kalt, Fleisch und Fisch war zäh und nicht gut! Ich würde nur mehr Zimmer mit Frühstück nehmen!

Einrichtung, Möbeln etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Bett war o.k. Bad mangelhaft. Für ein Superior Zimmer zu
klein und die Aussicht aufs Meer eingeschränkt. Frühstück ansprechend und das Personal sehr nett. Sehr ärgerlich - es gibt keine Strand/Liegen die zum Hotel gehören, muss extra bezahlt werden und ist bei 27° nicht verfügbar, Wellness/Poolbereich gehört zwar zum Hotel aber auch hier muss nochmal extra für die Liegen bezahlt werden ebenso für den Parkplatz...für ein 4 Sterne Hotel schwache Leistung. Fazit: maximal 3 Sterne und für die Vorsaison zu teuer...Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht

Gesamteindruck des Hotels gut. Abendessen reichlich und gut verträglich. Zimmer sauber. Durch die Lage des Hotels an der Promenade war es Abend doch häufig laut. (Stimmen und regelmäßig Musik).

Gutes Hotel für alle Altersklassen

Wer Strandnähe in Baska sucht, ist in diesem Hotel genau richtig. Ich habe es als sauberes Hotel kennengelernt, das v.a. von Familien und Paaren gebucht wird. Als Alleinreisender kam ich mir manchmal etwas verlassen vor. Essen war OK. Ich hatte nur Frühstück gebucht und habe dann jeden Abend spontan entschieden, ob ich für 10 Euro das Buffet im Hotel nutze, oder in ein Restaurant an der Strandpromenade gehe. Für dem Preis war das Essensangebot und die Qualität völlig ausreichend.

sejour tres agreable

tres agreablement surprise par la qualite du service et la proprete de l hotel, par contre le site convient mieux a des familles car peu de vie \"nocturne\" et les restaurants aux alentours sont parfois des pieges a touristes. la plage est belle mais tres vite remplie car etroite et la mer ,magnifique, ressemble plus a un lac car les monts d en face limite l horizon .je retiens avant tout un personnel tres efficace et avenant. et ne regrette pas un instant mon choix d y sejourner.

Un albergo fantastico, pulito, con personale discreto e sorridente che si limita a servire con cortesia senza fare domande in più, senza fare osservazioni o chiacchiere. A pochi metri dalla spiaggia, a pochissimi dalla piscina, camera vista golfo. Ristorazione di qualità. Perfetto

Hotel carino, a 20 metri dal mare. Un 4 stelle par

La camera era già pronta nonostante il check in fosse pianificato alle 14. Personale molto cortese ch parla anch la lingua italiana. Ottima la posizione: praticamente sulla spiaggia, anch se troppo affollata in agosto. Consiglio di trovare delle spiaggetta verso est camminando un po, ma ne vale la pena.
