To expensive for what you get

We made a short weekend trip to Island Krk an Baska. The hotel was actually ok, just the room we stayed in needs a total refurbishment. The hotel itself is renovated from outside, it looks good from outside and probably some rooms are also renovated, but ours wasnt... The TV's picture was so bad, that you couldnt watch it. At breakfast, which is actually quite good, we asked for sunny side up eggs, how we dont prefere omlet and were told, that we stay in low season, and because the prices are lower, they dont offer this food. But we insisted and finally got our eggs. But every time with a lot of effort... Dont know if we would stay there again. If they would offer us some better room probably...
They charge for parking - 2 euro a day, baby crib 5 euro a day, and so on... Be prepared for having a lot of elder Austrians there, with their own music entertainer at the night on the terace bar. But we think it is good time to visit Baska, because it is not so crowdy as in the season and for sure very nice!! But be aware, after 15. of september is almost every store or smaller restaurant closed.

The hotel is alright, but is absolutely impossible to stay on the beach with crowds like that. There is literally not even 10 inches space between people, and people use up to 4 balls at the time in the pool. The staff didn’t even ask why I was leaving earlier. There’s no point in staying somewhere where the beach is a disaster and the pool is unusable unless you want to get a hit in the head by a ball. Never again.

Hotel is not too bad on itself. They charge for parking separately per day which is quite unusual if you book your 7 days or 10 days holiday.
Air condition in the restaurant was not working.

Baska summer stay

Offered food and service were great, but there was one huge problem, air condition in the restaurant was not working at all and outside temperature exceeded 30 degrees. With a hew hundred people inside, it was very hard to breathe fresh oxygen.

Cost effictive solution (take then half board!)

Good mix of price, location, quality and gives excellent value for your money to take a half board, dinner is offering enough options to eat. ON this year there was even unlimited consumption of house wines (red and white), but I would rather leave them. Beer was ok. This was my 5th summer there.

Room was nice for the price. Only downside is that I was in building1 overlooking the roof of the restaurant so a bit dissapointed by that vthe seagulls would sit on the roof and squawk all morning. I asked to change room and the front desk agent said she found one to change me too but she had to ask her manager. The manager said no and that the would not change my room. I think it was because I was an online booker with a cheap room night!!! The pool was lovely and the hotel is nice and close to all the action without being right on the beach. Overall great value for the money. The buffet breakfast was not the best I gaff while in croatia - that was totally average!!

We only stayed at the hotel for 3 nights but enjoyed it immensely. The weather was also excellent. The only downside was the fact that the hotel set the air conditioning at 25 degrees C and there is no way of reducing this level of heat other than turning it off and opening the window. We did this after the first night and if we had booked a room with a balcony it would have been even better. I thought that 20/21 degrees C was a satisfactory indoor temperature, even in winter!

I think Hotel Corinthia lived up to its standard of a three star hotel. It wasn't magnificent however not bad at all either; exactly what you would ecpect from the pictures and stars. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean. Outside- and inside pools seemed to be popular amongst families w children, and for those who prefer the beach, it was only 200 m away. Breakfest was acceptable.

Es sind einfach zu viele Gäste im Hotel.
Der Massenansturm auf das Buffet ist unangenehm.
Der Speisesaal gleicht einer öffentlichen Ausspeisungshalle.
Die Getränkeversorgung ist völlig unbefriedigend.
Leider Masse statt Klasse.
Meine Frau und ich waren enttäuscht.

Lage war top. Freundliches Personal. Frühstück war 7 Tage das gleiche. Etwas Abwechslung wäre wünschenswert. Abendbrot haben wir einmal getestet. Dann haben wir die herrlichen Restaurants am Strand vorgezogen.

Mooi hotel, maar....

Het is een mooi hotel met prima eten. Incheck verliep erg rommelig. Ondanks dat alles betaald was wilden ze dat we nogmaals betaalden. Dit hebben we geweigerd, toen bleek dat we gelijk hadden. Geen enkel exuuus, onbeschoft personeel. Verder moet je overal voor betalen, parkeren, een handdoek bij het zwembad, een bedje bij het zwembad, erg vervelend. Om 6 uur gaat het zwembad dicht, er loopt dan iemend met een fluit rond, weinig gastvrij allemaal.

Bardzo fajny hotel. Dobre miejsce, blisko plaży, widok na morze fantastyczny. Miła, przyjazna obsługa, parking na terenie obiektu 2 eur/ dzień. Bardzo przyjemny basen. Leżaki na basenie płatne ( 60 kun za 2 leżaki na cały dzień), ale dzięki temu nie ma walki o nie codziennie rano.
Na minus - słabe śniadania. Monotonne, mało urozmaicone. Generalnie ocena na 5-

Struttura accogliente con spazi ampio e puliti. Le stanze mansardate sono prive di terrazzo e hanno il bagno piccolo con limitata ventilazione forzata ma complessivamente sono comode e ben raffrescate.
Punto di forza le piscine (coperta e scoperta) con idromassaggi e ampio parco per sole e relax.
Buffet sempre ben fornito e con piatti per tutti i gusti.
Valamar è una garanzia di qualità!

Der Lärm einer Absaugung oder eines Ventilators war sehr laut und störend.
Wir konnten weder auf dem Balkon, noch im Freien vor dem Bistro sitzen!!!

Die Zimmer werden ordentlich und regelmäßig gereinigt. Handtücher werden täglich nachgelegt. Tuschgel war leider nicht immer genügend da.(Haarewaschen)
Der Service ist Spitzenklasse. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht die neuersten, aber die großen Räume entschädigen dieses. Die Lage des Hotels ist Top. Zum Strand nicht weit. Die Pools ausreichend, wobei die Liegen nicht im Preis inbegriffen sind.

Schönes Hotel im Zentrum

In Baska hat man viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen.
z.B. schwimmen an den schönen Stränden oder im hoteleigenen Schwimmbad oder Hallenbad.
Es gibt auch einen Wellnes und Saunerbereich im Hotel.
Und wer nicht schwimmen geht,hat zahlreich Möglichkeiten zum wandern oder einkaufen.

Posizione ottima. Tutti i servizi offerti dall'hotel più che buoni. Dimensione camera famigliare x4 più che sufficiente, il bagno invece molto piccolo e bruttino. Zona piscina buona. Ristorazione (considerata la categoria dell ' hotel) ottima. Servizio parcheggio, economico e molto pratico. Tutto il personale molto disponibile. Venere.com perfetta come sempre.

Anlage von außen und der Außenbereich (Pool) sehr schön.

Zimmer mehr als veraltet, abgewohnt und dreckig: dreckiger Teppichboden mit Löchern, Risse und schwarze Striche an Wand, Putz in Gängen bröckelt ab, Staub und Haare in Badezimmer (Wand und Boden aus Hartplastik) - dreckiges Wasser aus Wasserhahn, nachdem Klospülung getätigt wure!

Das Essen vom Buffet ging von \"okay\" bis hin zu \"richtig lecker\". Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam/hilfsbereit.

Der Pool war zwar schön, allerdings müsste man für die Liegen extra zahlen.

Zusammengefasst: super Lage aber absolut veraltet und sein Geld nicht wert!

Autoloma. Hotelli osoittautui edulliseksi ja hyväksi valinnaksi. Hintaan sisältyi puolihoito ja päivällinen oli todella runsas ja monipuolinen. Samoin aamiaisbuffetti oli hyvä.

Min mamma hade säkert gett bättre betyg än mig.
Trevlig personal även om det blivit fel i min bokning så fixade det sig snabbt.
Wifi var kasst,fungerar bättre nära stranden om man använder gratis wifi som finns där.
Luktade lite avlopp i badrummet.
Rummet var rent och lagom värme.
Skön säng, ett hål i lakanet och det ser ju mindre trevligt ut men sade till i receptionen.
Testa spa lite snabbt tyvärr inte min grej. Kallt i jacuzzi , fast det kanske skulle vara så? Å är van att kunna duscha efter bad men det funkar ju inte riktigt när det är både dam och herr.
Kvällsmaten fungerade likaså frukost även om mkt tog slut fort så tycker jag de gjorde sitt bästa att fylla på.
För en natt är det ok för längre tid tveksamt.

Preis - Leistung in Ordnung.

Preis Leistung waren ok - es dürfte aber bald mal renoviert werden.
Wie allgemein in Touristen-Hotels üblich, die Frühstücksleistung lässt aufgrund des üblen Kaffees und der Chemie-Säfte leider etwas zu wünschen übrig. Wobei das Buffet insgesamt gut bestückt und reichhaltig war.
Es scheinen hier viele Bus-Reisende im Hotel untergebracht zu werden. Jede Menge Trubel...
Die Praxis mit der Berechnung der Liegen am Pool ist etwas strange. Man wartet bis man es sich darauf gemütlich gemacht hat, um dann erst auf die Extra-Gebühr hingewiesen zu werden. Sollte etwas klarer kommuniziert werden. Die \"Dritte-Klasse\" Liegen sind etwas abseits des Pools, aber auch ok - sofern welche frei sind. Denn davon gibt es nur wenige...
Ansonsten gute Lage, nahe dem Strand und eine Strasse hinter der Strand-Promenade.

Hotel mit Einschränkungen

Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer unter der Dachschräge mit Frühstück. Kühlschrank gabs auf Anfrage (kostet extra), das Bad war aus einem (Plastik-)Guss, klein und ohne Abzug - da läuft nicht nur der Spiegel an sondern auch die Nase wenn vorher Jemand anderes drin war. Der Putzservice hat leider seinen Nahmen nicht verdient, mehr als ein wenig Spray wurde nicht benutzt, die Armaturen sind alt.
Das Hotel an sich ist groß, die Angestellten sehr freundlich und sachkundig, das Essen als Buffet allenfalls von der Qualität her mittel.
Alles in allem höchstens befriedigend, so dass der Preis zu hoch ist. Hier zahlt man die tolle Umgebung und den Strand gleich mit dem Zimmerpreis. Dennoch ein gelungener Aufenthalt, eben mit Einschränkungen.

Premessa:abbiamo prenotato due settimane prima, per la seconda settimana di agosto. Sapevo che l'hotel aveva una parte con camere nuove e una parte con camere vecchie non molto confortevoli, quindi sapevamo che ci sarebbe stata la possibilità di finire in una camera di quest'ultimo tipo. Purtroppo così è stato:camera con bagno stile anni '80, molto molto brutto. Anche il ristorante non ci è piaciuto, piatti continentali, sempre uguali e pochissima scelta. La nota positiva è la posizione, comodissimo perchè a due passi dal centro. Ciò nonostante, non ci torneremmo.
