The breakfast was ok. I didn't know there was a pool and hot tub otherwise I would have brought a bathing suit. The tv stations keep going in and out so that was annoying. All in all it was medeocre.

Breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly. Not the greatest but not the worst hotel. Friend I traveled with here stayed at this one as a kid, but management must have changed or something because it’s apparently much different. The bathroom also had shampoo, conditioner and lotion but no body wash? Aside from the bar soap at the sink. The outlet was also in a pretty inconvenient spot behind one of the nightstands, unless you use the one in the bathroom. Other than that, the room was nice and everything we needed was accommodated. The price was decent too for a couple nights. Also at a nice distance from the beach!

Our room was mediocre for the price. Spackle all over the ceiling and walls, the slider door was so fogged up you couldn’t see much through it. If you sat on the couch you ended up in the middle cause the couch sank that way. The parking situation was horrible.

They had an issue with checking me in.

She took my credit card for damages. She gave me keys to the room. But for some reason, I was never checked in with Expedia.
I got an email from Expedia saying “How was the check -in process. I gave a review. Then early the next morning Expedia sent another email that stated I was a no-show even though I was staying in the room already.
That night they had given the room to someone else. They walked in on my Husband and I.
They said I never checked in? How could that be when I had Keys to the room.

We were very disappointed with my stay. The jets in the tub in our room caused me to break out in hives, likely because of whatever chemicals or residue were inside them. There were also Corona bottle caps underneath the bed, which made the room feel unclean.

In addition, it would have been helpful if the front desk staff had communicated basic information more clearly to guests upon arrival. Breakfast was also very disappointing. The selection was poor, there were no beverages available except coffee, and apparently guests were expected to ask for each specific item. On top of that, the staff member cleaning up the breakfast area began wiping things down before I was even able to get my food, which felt unwelcoming and rushed.

Overall, the cleanliness, communication, and breakfast experience all fell below expectations.

We had a great view of the ocean and pretty basic room. Hotel is tired looking. We somehow accidentally booked the room twice and they didnt cancel the extra booking. Said they would refund one night of it but didnt. The tv had a parental control set up so we couldnt watch all the channels but owner didnt know why or how to fix it. Laundry worked well, need quarters though. Refrigerator and microwave in the room was convenient. It was off season and not very full. Not fancy, but not horrible.

Room windows were dirty so you had to keep the door open to see the view. Looks like they were doing work in the room lots of spackling going on. The man at the front desk couldn’t speak English so I really had a hard time understanding him. He was very nice and did let us check in early.

This felt like a hotel in the medium place. Toilet paper was rough and you had to reach at a very weird angle to get it. The jacuzzi tub leaked. The bed was very firm. The shower dispenser was off the wall and laying in the bathtub. The pool had to be unlocked during open hours, the hot tub tepid and the closest ice machine was off. But: it was Ocean Shores in February and the price was okay. Some friendly employees and one who seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else.

The room was not updated like the pictures showed in the site. The breakfast was only a begal and cream chease. Some juice and cereal, toast. Not the all out buffet style breakfast thats promoted. Honestly I stayed here because the breakfast and how nice the place looked in the pictures. We were very let down and disappointed and will not be staying at this place anymore. We come here a lot to.

It wasn't a resort in any stretch of the word. The parking was terrible. So narrow around the rooms that we had to park out front so our car wouldn't get hit by other cars and insure we could get the car out without incident.The towels were painful and very scratchy, not dried completely. We had a 3 day stay and had to ask each day for toilet paper and towels. The sliding door to the delapatated balconys lock was broken and my husband cut his finger trying to lock the door. There were no movie channels. The Continental breakfast was very lacking and extremely minimal, with tip jars and don't waste food signs every where, as if we didn't already pay for this service. We tried it the first morning and never went back, having to then buy breakfast for the last 3 wake ups. The water pressure, no matter how you changed the shower head was so painful we showered only once for a three day stay, because the hot water took forever and once you got in you had to rush due to painful pressure. The owners were arguing in the hall all morning on our second day which was very off putting. Food smells, not breakfast foods smells, permiated the elevator and halls. We went for a 3 night stay to get away and relax and it was anything but. The hotel, resort was not a good experience. We won't be back and left at 5am on our last day eager to leave. We had debated leaving early but we paid in advance and they held an extra 100$ when we got there. They should have paid us to stay.

We had several issues: we could not get hot water easily without running the faucets for 5 minutes. Some of us avoided showers. The main issue however was bedbugs. One of our group woke up with bites on the final morning.

The room was too hot because the heat was left on when we arrived. Asked for an extra chair for the table ( there was only one. Asked to have the adjoining room door deadbolt for security from our side. Ice maker near the pool was out of order.
The housekeeper did a great job of advocating for us and we really appreciated her help. Everything was taken care of when we asked.
Good pool, adequate continental breakfast ,make your own waffles.- 👍A

There was a breakfast, but for us we were unable to partake in it. It was breads and pastry items which were items that I couldn't partake. It would have been nice to have items that were not bread or pastry.

The room is clean and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was just ok. Waffles were good, but there was no milk for cereal and only apples fruit wise. No sugar free sweetener for coffee. There was only one working ice machine all the way down in the lobby, and we are on the third floor.

The room was terrible. The balcony door didn't fully close or lock, and the shower had no pressure with a broken head, forcing us to take baths. The sink was broken, and the wall sockets were hanging. It was a horrible hotel experience and a total waste of money; I will never stay there again. Not to mention, they tried to put three adults in a room with a single bed when the reservation was for 2 beds and a fold-out.

We were charged for our stay through you when I reserved the room and then charged $100. for a deposit and charged AGAIN for our stay when we checked in leaving our card frozen and us unable to continue our anniversary trip. We are not only upset that our plans were cut short due to NO fault of ours but the money we NEVER should have been charged is in question of being returned not to mention the refund for the night we paid for and didn't get to stay. The disappointing breakfast didn't help matters.

It's alright. Big place, long hallways. Lots of seemingly vacant rooms.

It has a nice trail to the Beach.

No continental breakfast offered.

Seems like it's mostly bring your own everything.

I wish the balcony lights weren't left on all night, and had an on/off switch in each room. The bright light kinda drowns out the view of the night sky over the ocean, the stars, planets, and possible UFO sightings! ;)

My room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and I chose it for its great location to an annual event. Also close to the beach, shops, restaurants. It has its own putt putt, pool and hot tub though I did not use them.
It has been attractively renovated recently. Staff were available and friendly. Only thing was that breakfast (7am to 10am) was out of hot food by 8:20. Also I recommend a map of the property for reference. Thank you. I will gladly stay here again sometime.

The property is under new ownership. The outside door next to our room doesn't lock so no keycard needed.
There was a sign taped to the bathroom wall that said you would be charged for any damage or theft of towels. I found this very tacky. The towels were so thin you needed 2 to dry off and they only gave us 2.
The breakfast was watered down juice, a bowl with 2 apples and you could make your own waffle. There was a crock pot with scrambled eggs. The bowl with instant oatmeal looked safe however it was so old that the oatmeal was bad and sticking to the package.
The hot and cold water at the sink and in the shower were connected wrong so hot was on the right and cold was on the left. the person I spoke with had lots of excuses so I really don't think things will change. We had stayed here under the ld management and it was very nice. Not anymore.

It was a bit skechy place you cant beat 134 for two nights with breakfast any where else in ocean shores one thing that really bothered me was the continental breakfast is a joke. I booked that hotle before and went back 2 or three times like I said price and the breakfast one of best breakfast however they fail to tell you in winter hours breakfast is toast cereal waffle yogurt ans a tiny red apple they dont put out hot coffee or tea or cocoa for guest that stay there.the rooms are stanard a lil gettho could use some updated bedding.

This was a fair place to stay and beautiful trail to beach, I would offer caution to those heading to the beach though as surprised to come across apparent unhomed people sleeping along trail in the morning covering themselves up with old tarps and bags. Other than this surprise, quiet hotel obviously aged. The breakfast was limited but present despite few guests.

The room needs up dating. Tub was in bad condition. Room smelled like mold. Outside doors not secured (automatic lock seemed to be broken). No hot food except waffles..(maybe other hot food came later but not at advertised time of 7:00 am). signs all over the dining room were not guest friendly ..ie telling guests not to waste food although they did say "please."

I hate to write a review like this but I’m pretty sure there are bed bugs in room 138. I tried to follow up with the hotel after getting bumps all over and they were dismissive and didn’t take my concerns seriously. This is dangerous if customers are exposed to bed bugs and need to take ongoing precautions. Honesty and accountability are the only appropriate way to handle this.

I had to ask multiple times for them to inspect the room. They say they didn’t find anything but I don’t know what these bumps could be besides bed bug bites. They’re in groups of three and in lines all over my body. The bed was the only place these areas of my body were exposed during my trip and I have never had a reaction like this before except another time I was traveling internationally and was exposed to bed bugs.

Proceed with caution! Based on other reviews it seems like customer service, care for the customers, and accountability is lacking.

We will always stay here!!

This will be our 2nd time staying and its perfect every time. Friendly service, quick and easy check-in and out. Clean rooms and great size pool. Breakfast was nothing fancy but had all the essentials and hot food items to choose from. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach.

Recent change of ownership but all was fine. We used the pool and hot tub and they were fine. I did the mini golf and it was ok by me. It’s close to everything. Takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the beach. Reasonable prices.
