I stayed here on my honeymoon and on our stay we heard noise in the room above us all through the night on and off, after notifying staff the next morning they told us that they are sorry for the inconvenience but they believe no one was in the room above us. I expressed that I disagree and that as we were loading to check out and cancel our second night that I noticed clothing in the window and the slider open like it is booked out, the staff once again said she is pretty sure there was no one above us and that she was very sorry for the night we had and asked if we wanted to be upgraded to a better room, we already had a Jacuzzi room and and “upgrade” would get rid of the jacuzzi which is why I booked the room for me and my wife for our honeymoon, I asked for a refund of the second room which she told me to reach out to hotel app agent for that since I booked through them, well hotel agent said that since I paid at the desk they are responsible for refunding me, anyways hotel tried to contact them on my behalf and help me for a refund and I am still waiting on my refund for my second night that me and my wife did not stay there for after we had a bad experience of getting barley any sleep and no help from the staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. Our room and the hotel lobby appeared to have been tastefully updated, the ocean-view balcony was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed playing the mini-golf.

One small observation is that amenities and breakfast items were provided quite sparingly. We received limited soap, shampoo, and towels, and some breakfast items, such as yogurt, seemed to be available only upon request. That said, whenever we asked for anything, the staff were happy to provide it promptly and courteously.

Overall, we found this to be an excellent value and suspect that keeping extras to a minimum helps maintain the lower room rates. We also found that booking well in advance helped secure a better rate. We would gladly stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a clean, pleasant, affordable place to stay.

It definitely needs some updating. Everything feels a little old and could use a more modern touch. The beds, the decoration, and the overall style could be improved to make the place look more updated, comfortable, and appealing.

We had 4 adults and two small kids. The youngest, the baby, will totally shun you if he didn't feel you were a good person. He totally loved the lady at the desk as well did my 4yr old grandson. It's rated as a 2 star but the service we had was 4 star. They brought linen for the fold out couch and extra pillows. The pool was great and hot tub relaxing. The breakfast was basic but very satisfying. If going back to Ocean Shores. We'll go back there.

Second time we have stayed there in a few yrs good place to stay. Breakfast was good no complaints. English not the best but everything was fine. Will stay again in a few yrs. Ocean Shores isn't our cup of tea anymore. Water always looks dirty,we have found a better place in Oregon can't drive on the beach but it's cleaner and quiet.

Pool smelled like Clorox so much couldn’t stay longer then five minutes and everything around was very rusted . The whole hotel and room sheets all smelled like Indian cooking.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The jacuzzi in our room was very pleasant and the activities within the area are all super close so we always had stuff to do since it was all basically within walking distance. The staff is very friendly, helpful and were always available. Whole place is clean and well-kept and the parking is perfect. Definitely will stay here again the next time we come to Ocean Shores!

We got the deluxe queen room with a sofe bed and a balcony. The view was amazing, the front desk lady was fun and very helpful she was great to chat with. The room was clean, but dated and some of the furniture was not great. The room was clean as was the pool. The family in the pool was out of control but that is definitely not the hotels fault. The breakfast was good with hot options, but very limited. I would go back but only in the non busy times of year.

The facility was clean and smelled pleasant. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. We had an ocean view room and it was not only affordable but the balcony was a nice touch. The AC worked great (it was a rare hot weekend!) I recommend this hotel for families and couples alike.
The only issue was as we were leaving a dog that was staying at the hotel was following my son. They should strictly enforce leash rules as there were several dogs we saw during our stay. The mini golf is subpar at best but hey, it’s free!

We put the sign on the door asking for our room to be cleaned while we were gone after two nights, we were gone 6 hours but the room wasn't cleaned. I had to go to the front desk and get supplies, towels, coffee, garbage bags, which would have been replaced by a maid. I told them no one came to do the room and other than getting the items I requested they didn't offer to make it right.

I arrived around 2:40 hoping for an early check in which was always 3:00 when I've stayed there which is many times. The guy at the desk pointed to the 4:00 check-in policy and said I would have to wait until then. I was tired and needed a bathroom and was in no mood and told him I didn't care what the sign said. He then said if I wanted early check in it would cost $10.00. I balked at that and he then said he'd do me a favor and not extort (my words) the $10.00 and let me check in. Here's the biggest part of this story.....I WAS THE ONLY GUEST AT THE MOTEL! The place was EMPTY and this guy wants $10.00 for me to get my room of which cost by the way $260.00 for the two nights. I'm a seasoned business traveler and would not argue with him during high season nor expect early check in. But did I mention that I WAS THE ONLY GUEST THERE!!! Well, the guy was stupid in that he's lost a regular customer.

The pool was really cold. The check out time posted differed from room (11 v 12). The breakfast was okay (clearly down sized due to economy). The walls were thin and guests were banging around until 4 am. It was okay, but not a place I’d return to based on experiences at other local hotels/motels that were better. A decent cheap stay.

Negatives: Our room was dingy, outdated, and not cleaned as expected. The doorknob/door didn’t work right and there were almost no plug-ins in the room.
The pool/hot tub area was outdated (lots of rust) and had a very strong chlorine smell. Every time we went to the pool there were no towels. It could be hard to get help as staff weren’t regularly at the front desk. Mini-golf was dilapidated and best for very young children.

Positives: Price was great, continental breakfast was good, great location, nice staff, ample parking, and the lobby was very queen.

Overall: It’s fine for one night stays but I wouldn’t recommend it long term.

Outdated facility. Pleasant front desk staff. Sagging mattresses. Continental breakfast a major disappointment: frosted flakes, honey cheerios, tater tots, dino nuggets, sausage, taquitos, scrambled eggs (were orange, found a hair in them). Waffle maker, toaster. White bread, English muffins, or dinner rolls. Lemonade from a mix (too strong) and grape juice (thick like syrup) in gallon-sized pitchers. Coffee in a carafe, or hot water for hot cocoa packets. No tea. No fruit. Flimsy plastic utensils, paper plates. Dirty ketchup bottle on the counter for your eggs/tots. $20 extra if you want to check in early to a room that's already available.

The internet was off and on, I had homework I needed to get done. There was unknown stains on the walls in the bathroom, on the ceiling and even by the bed. There was trash and even medication left behind the nightstand. Getting anyone to be at the front desk or answer the phone was an issue. I didn’t appreciate it. I first reserved a king bed with an ocean view, got the king bed and a parking lot view checking in. I went back to the front desk and they wanted to charge me over $150 to “upgrade me”. I finally got my ocean view, but two queen beds and I was so disappointed in the room. Not to mention I had two towels for a 5 day stay. I’m never staying there again after the issues and back and forth I had.

Friend I traveled with here stayed at this one as a kid, but management must have changed or something because it’s apparently much different. The bathroom also had shampoo, conditioner and lotion but no body wash? Aside from the bar soap at the sink. The outlet was also in a pretty inconvenient spot behind one of the nightstands, unless you use the one in the bathroom. Other than that, the room was nice and everything we needed was accommodated. The price was decent too for a couple nights. Also at a nice distance from the beach!

Our room was mediocre for the price. Spackle all over the ceiling and walls, the slider door was so fogged up you couldn’t see much through it. If you sat on the couch you ended up in the middle cause the couch sank that way. The parking situation was horrible.

They had an issue with checking me in.

She took my credit card for damages. She gave me keys to the room. But for some reason, I was never checked in with Expedia.
I got an email from Expedia saying “How was the check -in process. I gave a review. Then early the next morning Expedia sent another email that stated I was a no-show even though I was staying in the room already.
That night they had given the room to someone else. They walked in on my Husband and I.
They said I never checked in? How could that be when I had Keys to the room.

We were very disappointed with my stay. The jets in the tub in our room caused me to break out in hives, likely because of whatever chemicals or residue were inside them. There were also Corona bottle caps underneath the bed, which made the room feel unclean.

In addition, it would have been helpful if the front desk staff had communicated basic information more clearly to guests upon arrival. Breakfast was also very disappointing. The selection was poor, there were no beverages available except coffee, and apparently guests were expected to ask for each specific item. On top of that, the staff member cleaning up the breakfast area began wiping things down before I was even able to get my food, which felt unwelcoming and rushed.

Overall, the cleanliness, communication, and breakfast experience all fell below expectations.

We had a great view of the ocean and pretty basic room. Hotel is tired looking. We somehow accidentally booked the room twice and they didnt cancel the extra booking. Said they would refund one night of it but didnt. The tv had a parental control set up so we couldnt watch all the channels but owner didnt know why or how to fix it. Laundry worked well, need quarters though. Refrigerator and microwave in the room was convenient. It was off season and not very full. Not fancy, but not horrible.

This felt like a hotel in the medium place. Toilet paper was rough and you had to reach at a very weird angle to get it. The jacuzzi tub leaked. The bed was very firm. The shower dispenser was off the wall and laying in the bathtub. The pool had to be unlocked during open hours, the hot tub tepid and the closest ice machine was off. But: it was Ocean Shores in February and the price was okay. Some friendly employees and one who seemed like he wanted to be anywhere else.

The room was not updated like the pictures showed in the site. The breakfast was only a begal and cream chease. Some juice and cereal, toast. Not the all out buffet style breakfast thats promoted. Honestly I stayed here because the breakfast and how nice the place looked in the pictures. We were very let down and disappointed and will not be staying at this place anymore. We come here a lot to.
