Hotel very popular with young family and unfortunately poorly soundproofed. View from rooms hidden by trees but restaurant out of this world; food quality simply wonderful. Again many children in the restaurant but hey seem to escape to play room leaving a quieter environnement later in the evening.

J'aimerais tout d'abord souligner le travail de Vincent qui a été très sympathique dans mes confirmations de réservation et notre accueil a l'hôtel.

Je voudrais toutefois mentionner que nous avons été déçu de ne pas avoir vraiment eu accès à la piscine et au spa. Nous sommes conscients que la saison de motoneige doit être très lucrative pour l'auberge, mais un groupe d'une trentaine de personnes était sur place et ont vraiment miner le peu de plaisir que nous aurions pu avoir a profiter de l'auberge.

Ils étaient extrêmement bruyants et avaient pris contrôle de la mezzanine et de la section piscine. Ils étaient 8 dans le spa avec leurs canettes de bière et avaient complètement pris possession de la zone piscine.

Certains employés sont passés, mais ils n'ont pas averti les clients. Nous sommes donc retournés à notre chambre.

Si j'avais planifié un week-end en amoureux avec ma conjointe, j'aurais probablement demandé un remboursement.

Les chambres sont bien aménagées, propres et les lits sont confortables.

The room was very clean, get cleaned everyday . The staff are all nice. The sauna wasn’t clean at all spiders were everywhere. The Jacuzzi wasn’t working for two nights et the next two nights, it was working but it smelled horrible like mold and p..s. The swimming pool was quite cold.
I booked the hotel because they advertise a gym but there is no gym ( few cardio machines most of them don’t work )

Les oreillers étaient très confortables. Même chose pour la douillette et le matelas. La vue sur la forêt est enveloppante. La fenestration laisse passer beaucoup de lumière, ce qui est agréable au réveil. La salle de bain est moderne et vaste. Confort et esthétisme s'harmonisent bien.

Room was fine; beds are very comfortable: good sleep!
Breakfast is good; they are lacking of personnel, which leads to long delays to be served/ assisted
All the personnel met was smiling, nice and helpful, which makes the stay pleasant

J'ai trouvé un gros tas de cheveux et de saleté dans la baignoire, laissés là par le ménage. Lorsque j'ai signalé à la réception, ils n'ont eu aucune réaction, sauf que d'en aviser les personnes responsables. Aucune offre de dédommagement. La clim est très bruyante. Je ne conseille pas cet hôtel. C'est malheureux car le site naturel est vraiment enchanteur.

Je voyage très souvent, et je sais que les hôtels parfois peuvent être vieillissant.

Mais pour la réputation de cette endroit j’ai quelques déceptions en général.
Très belle vue panoramique Mais les trottoirs et terrassement Nous force à regarder où l’on met les pieds . Puisque le pavé Est vraiment accidenté.

Pour aller à la piscine, nous devons aller prendre une douche Mais aucun savon de disponible Tous les réservoir était vide. Et la qualité de l’eau de la piscine correcte mais le spa ont y voyait des résidus flotter dans l’eau très brouillé.
L’ascenseur est vraiment désuet également. .

This hotel did not appear to have been updated since the 1980s. It is rated as a 4 star hotel - which may have been true 30-40 years ago. Today it would be generous to give this property 2.5 stars. The owners have been delaying updating and repairs for quite some time clearly, and many important details and repairs are overlooked.

Une belle auberge un peu prise dans le temps. Les gens y sont fort sympathique. Un peu de difficulté avec la salle de bain ou les rideaux te crie de ne pas t'approcher. Le restaurant est très très juste ok. Un déjeuner 4 articles pour 19$, faut aimer ne pas sortir de l'auberge (Comme dans l'expression du même nom) C'est OK sans plus coté goût. Il y a plein d'option déjeuner à 5 min. de voiture où vous en aurez pour votre argent. Le souper (Diner pour les français) laisse aussi un peu sur la fin. Rien de foncièrement mauvais, mais rien pour vous donner un wow non plus malheureusement. Côté qualité prix, on manque encore le bateau de ce coté. Quand ça sent et ça ne goûte pas, on se pose des questions. Combien? Si vous vous lancez dans le repas 5 services avec une belle bouteille de vin à 2... 300$ CAD Total.

Place is great in general, only little detail is pool area; windows are very dirty around the door and sauna is a bit dirty with spider webs and just didn’t feel super clean. Pool is extremely cold, we still enjoyed all of it as we were with loved ones.

Hotel staff were excellent, some spoke English and some did not, but everyone was helpful. Use the snowmobile garage without any problems, also lit parking area. Breakfast was great as was dinner. Carpeting is dated and there isn’t a hot tub as part of pool.

Dining room had good food, but the service was truly terrible: endless waits, staff confused and running around with no direction. Had to wait one hour for breakfast to arrive! Place is a little dated for decor.

Check on times way too late 16:00...that is ridiculous when you want to drop your stuff and go and do an activity. Secondly, the common air space stuck in the 1980’s. Rooms absolutely impeccable and major miss no USB ports adapters to charge any electronics....

Delightful experience , to be repeated . The speed of internet is not very high , hence we couldn't do everything we wanted . The bathroom sink was partially plugged , this was reported to the receptionist upon our checking out . Otherwise we had a splendid time .

The location, room and views were great. My only two complaints are;; one they didn't honor the price I was given by Orbitz (although to be fair, I will see if the exchange rate is noted on my credit card bill, but I believe they said that was US currency ) and two, the wifi did not work in the room. I had to go to the lobby to get internet service.

The room (suite) was extremely comfortable and the shower with multiple jets was a real pleasure.

We arrived late, after traveling for 11 hours, not yet having dinner. On our inquiry about where to get something to eat we were told the on site restaurant had closed 30 minutes earlier, but to go in and ask and they would accomodate us. They did, two wonderful plates of ham and cheese and tomato sandwiches with green salad were delivered to our room a few minutes later.

Beautiful, secluded mountain setting but close enough to Joliette to attend a music festival and commute. Staff very helpful. Let us check in a few hours early and told us about a lake where we could swim.
No fridge or microwave in the room. There is a dining room serving local specialties but we didn't eat there. This was our second stay and we will return.

Pleasantly surprised when we drove up. Very pretty setting. Room was extra large and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub helped us rest up from lots of traveling. Restaurant staff were mostly helpful but a time or two we did have to wait.

We were very happy with our selection and wish we had stayed longer and explored the walking trails. Beautiful landscaping. We did not opt for meals which were extra. Breakfast was pricy. But the hotel was a bargain given the beautiful location, friendly service and nice room. Our only complaint- the free coffee in the lobby was rather weak.

Great spot, very clean hotel. I was a little suprised that there were no coffee machine in the room, but they had coffee pots ready in the main lobby, so we were able to get coffee when we woke up. Also, hotel is impeccably clean, but not recent. Room doors are not thick and we were able to hear people laughing and talking in hallways while we were trying to sleep :-(

This location is a Hotel / Spa northeast of Montreal / Joliette, QC.
This hotel has an excellent restaurant requiring reservations but maintains early hours (i.e. 10 pm close).
The staff primarily speaks French but enough of them have enough English familiarity to make conversation fun.
The hotel is on a mountain with panoramic view points and walking trails.
The furnishings are a bit dated and the towels are a bit thin.
The local towns are small. I would consider this destination best for a get away from the hustle and bustle.
I would rate this hotel a 3 – 3.5 star location.
