Great property for a family vacation. The staff is very kind and great hosts. We chose half board, and while it was nice to have dinner at the hotel, I would have liked to have tried the many nearby walkable restaurants. We felt guilty for not using what we had paid for. I'm just putting that out there for those trying to decide on breakfast or half board (dinner only). Pool towels are available.

Basic hotel, good located for a couple of days exploring the area. Nice size pool.
The hotel is quite large, therefore could be very crowded, and during holiday season there are lots of families with kids.
One thing they could improve is that the lounges by the pool are being \"reserved\" from 6 am. Meaning that people leave their towels there in the morning, and go back to their rooms and maybe show up again at 11am. meanwhile other guests are not able to find empty lounges. I know this is more about the guest than the hotel management, but the hotel could enforce a policy to avoid this to happen

The hotel was nice. It was odd that the front desk acted as if we wouldn't be able to stay unless I was able to find the email from hotels.com on my phone and email to the front desk staff. The room was a big dated but very comfortable. The best part of the property is the pool and location to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was good. Overall this was a nice place to stay.

I was really impressed by the efficiency of the check-in process. We arrived sweaty and tired after spending the day in Venice and then driving for a few hours. The lady at the check in (Ines) did everything at a lightning speed, in under 2 minutes (verify passports, write down guests' info, issue room card and dining card, etc). Very helpful after a long trip!

Very relaxing, good value & friendly

Very nice hotel, in a very nice country-side / port side atmosphere. Plenty of food options in the nearby local town / sea-front area.
Public transport stop to Pula (the local town) is right outside the hotel which was very convenient (although the bus itself is small and gets overwhelmed with tourists so you'll have to go early for it)
The hotel was very well looked after and clean - and the half board option was excellent value for a good evening meal when you get back from a day out.
The staff are very nice and genuine (example: we arrived to hotel 5 minutes before the evening meal buffet ended, and lady on check-in prompted us to leave our luggage with her to avail of the evening meal before closing time)
Negatives are:
- sound proofing between rooms is poor
- there is no tea or coffee available in the restaurant for the evening meal (although plenty of soft drinks, beer and wine)
- check-out at 10am is a bit early for lazy holidaymakers
- the children's entertainment is finished when schools are back on - it would have been convenient if the playroom was at least open for people with toddlers

We stayed for 5 nights on half board. The food was good and the free wine, soft drinks and beer with the evening buffet was a bonus. We found plenty of things to see in this area, Pula is only a few miles away. The hotel pool was great and plenty of loungers were provided

Long weekend in Medulin

Perfect place for sunbathing & relaxing. Medulin beach is very near and it's better place for chilling than hotel's poolside. Breakfast and dinner are good, just try to avoid queues. Dinner includes free beer and wine.

Love the area, disappointed in the hotel

We booked two rooms for a short two night gtaway. One of the rooms the AC was not working properly and the tv remotes batteries had leaked acid all over the table. The other room the tv would not work at all. We went to the front desk to ask for assistance the first night and were told no one could fix the issues until the next day but everything would be fine when we returned from sight seeing the next day. Unfortunately this was not the case and we were told once again no one was there to fix the issues. Also, the wifi in the rooms is too poor to connect to email or send messages but the lobby's internet was usable. Pool closes early so please consider that when booking with family but there is nighttime preformaces and entertainment. Overall we loved the area but the hotels service and lack of responce to complaints means we will be finding a new hotel fro future stays.

This place has it all...but maybe you don't want it all. This is a resort with all the fun, fun, fun, of an all-inclusive resort. Loud party music interfered with my reading and we didn't make use of any of the facilities, but if you are looking for fun, fun, fun, this might be the place for you.

On the tip of Istria

the Hotel Holiday Mendulin is very reasobaly priced hotel in a beautriful location on the very southern tip of Istria (Croatia). The staff speak english very well, it has a very nice pool and access to small beach area (not much). restaurants are close by and it is an absolutey beautiful spot. Brekfast and parking are included and are both good. they had messed up our resevration and gave us a very small two twin bedded room for three- and immedilety fixed this by giving us a second room free. no problems encountered with this. i'd sty away from the basement rooms if possible- there are nice rooms with balconies overlooking the very nice pool area and the sea.

Die zimmer sind relativ alt, und hab einem Teppichboden. Das essen hat uns leider auch nicht umgehauen. Aber es ist grundsätzlich ok, wenn man wir wir qns hotel keine zu hohen Ansprüche hat, weil wir dirt eh nur zum schlafen sind. Der pool ist schön und man ist in 2 min zu fus am strand und in 5 min am hafen mit vielen kleinen läden und lokalen

Uns (9 Personen) hat das Hotel und die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten HP und das Essen war immer frisch, lecker und für jeden was dabei. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Der Weg zum Strand ist über eine gerade Strecke gut und in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Der Strand ist meistens Kies, das Wasser nicht so tief und wenn man etwas weiter reingeht ist da Sand. Im Hotel gab es eine Animation und außerhalb der Anlage sehr viele Bars und Restaurants. Der einziger Mangel ist der Teppich im Hotel, der wirklich schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Ansonsten würde das Hotel empfehlen und auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine grosse Auswahl, war dementsprechend sehr lecker.
Die Zimmer sind sehr alt und dringend renovierungsbedürftig, Teppich in einem Hotel find ich total unhygienisch und war dreckig. Auch die Klimaanlage hat wie ein Ventilator funktioniert als wirklich abgekühlt.
Am Pool reservieren sich viele Touristen bereits in frühen Morgenstunden die Liegen und sind meinst garnicht am Pool. Ist für mich ein no go! Das Hotel hat leider keine Liegen am Meer was ich sehr schade finde.

We hebben hier een prima verblijf gehad van 4 dagen, het hotel is ietwat verouderd maar alles is netjes en schoon. Het personeel was vriendelijk, het ontbijt was niet heel uitgebreid maar wat er lag was lekker en vers. Wat wij wel minder vonden was dat er bij het hotel zelf echt niks te doen was, het was bij het zwembad ondanks dat er genoeg mensen lagen zelfs zo stil dat wij bijna schrik haddden om te praten. Het leek wel een stiltegebied.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Personal aufmerksam und zuvorkommend , schade dass beim tollen Frühstück nach wie vor vieles einzeln verpackt ist , Butter Marmelade usw. , nicht sehr umweltfreundlich dass kann man besser lösen. Wir hatten nur Frühstück da das Abendbuffet wie letztes Jahr eher langweilig und überhaupt nicht kroatisch war , für unser Verständnis jedenfalls . Alles in allem das 2. Mal dort gewesen und wir werden wieder kommen , Preis Leistung ist völlig ok , schade nur dass die Liegenbelger am Pool auch hier nicht ausgebremst werden , ist echt zum kotzen was sich da teilweise abgespielt hat !!!

Positiv: Sehr gutes Abendessen, auch Getränke waren in der HP mit dabei, Frühstück inOrdnung, aber 2 Kaffeeautomaten, die sehr langsam sind, sind für die Anzahl der Gäste zu wenig: Es bildeten sich täglich Warteschlangen mit bis zu 7 Personen.
Negativ: Lärmende Kinder am Pool mit Schwimmringen, Kunststofftieren, Reifen, Bälle etc. Bademeister kümmert sich leider nicht darum. Schwimmen im Pool gerät zum Abenteuer

Hotel molto carino, pulito e nuovo. Io e la mia famiglia siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi del cibo: veramente buono, avevamo paura che esagerassero con i condimenti o le spezie invece è stato tutto molto buono, soprattutto il pesce. La piscina è molto carina e di acqua salata. Ci sono parecchie attività durante il giorno per grandi e piccini e lo staff è molto disponibile e parla praticamente tutte le lingue. L'unica cosa che forse mi ha deluso è l'accesso al mare. L'hotel dista 80mt dal mare ma si affaccia su una spiaggia dedicata al noleggio barche e moto d'acqua quindi un po' trafficata; basta però fare qualche centinaia di metri a piedi e c'è tutto il litorale di Medulin con fondale basso adatto ai bambini. Il centro del paese è facilmente raggiungibile tramite il lungomare ottime per bellissime passeggiate la sera. Una vacanza molto piacevole e rilassante che sicuramente ripeterò.

Das Essen war zum Teil nicht sehr Kindertauglich.Pommes gibt es nur an der Bar gegen Bezahlung.Der schöne Pizzaofen wurde in einer Woche nur einmal genutzt.Speisen werden zum Teil nicht nachgelegt, dass Mittagessen entspricht zum Teil dem Abendessen des gleichen Tages bzw des Vortages.Automatengetränke zu den Malzeiten sind zum Teil nicht genießbar.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut. Das Essen auch ob Frühstück oder Abendessen. Das Hotel wäre noch besser wenn es die Handtuch Liegenbeleger Mal die rote Karte zeigt. Wir haben es vom Balkon beobachtet. Halb acht werden 7 Liegen mit Handtücher belegt dann wir gefrühstückt und um 11 noch keiner an den Liegen Frechheit. Der Bademeister sollte nach einer halben Stunde die Handtücher runternehmen. Wen man das Mal einsehen durchzieht gewöhnt man das den Leuten schon ab. Und jeder hätte eine Chance auf eine Liege. Sonst kann ich das Hotel nur empfehlen.

Das Personal geht so zB. die Lehrlinge könnten
besser eingeschult werden und auch generell kann man dort eher weniger Deutsch und Englisch, aber zu sehr Italienisch leider

Aussenanlagen auch Gut so wie der Pool der mit Meerwasser betrieben wird, der Strand ist sehr überfüllt und eher nur für Familien was weil, man sehr weit rausgehen muss damit man Schwimmen kann.

Pozitív: viz kristálytiszta, gyerekeknek ajánlott mert sekély, programlehetőségek, vizi dolgok kipróbálása, biztonságos, minden kapható ha valami kell, van két magyar csatorna
Negatív: kicsi szoba, rossz ágy, nincs édesvizű medence a szállodában, a medencére egész nap tűz a nap semmi árnyék sincs, a kaja rossz, vizezett italok, szinte csak kavicsos a part, ár érték arány nem megfelelő

Das Reinigungspersonal und die Rezeption arbeiten gut und schnell.Damit wäre das positive schon gesagt. Das essen war meist kalt, das Fleisch zäh. Am Pool sind den ganzen Tag (von 06:30Uhr weg) die Liegestühle reserviert, Obwohl Zitat Poolregel: Das Reservieren von Liegestühlen ist nicht gestattet. Ebenso wird das Rauchverbot dort ignoriert. Beim Poolwart hat man den Eindruck, mich geht das ja nix an. Die Sicherheit der Gäste kann auch nicht gewährleistet werden. Die Bewegungsflächen für Einsatzkräfte ist, zum Teil auch durch das Personal verparkt. Vom Freihalten der Behindertenparkplätze nicht zu sprechen.Ein weiterer Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel wird es wohl nicht geben.

Hotel som har en hel del att förbättra. Mkt slitet o gammalt. Obefintlig kyla på AC. Närområdet nedskräpat o mkt påflugna inkastare på restaurangerna. Inte det bästa badet i Kroatien. Finns betydligt bättre ställen i Kroatien att besöka. Har stor erfarenhet av Kroatien och detta tillhör absolut inte de bättre. Pula flygplats är dessutom inte att rekommendera. Otroligt dåligt organiserad m obefintlig information. Långa köer och ointresserad personal. För oss har det varit samma dåliga intryck varje gång. Flyg hellre till Zadar eller Split och hyr en bil eller ta en buss till Istrien.
Tyvärr dåliga recensioner av ett annars älskat Kroatien. Kommer definitivt tillbaka igen men inte till Medulin. Anders

Un buon albergo - posizionato a poche decine di metri dal centro e vicino al mare con sassi e acqua poco pulita. È presente tuttavia una piscina non adeguata alle dimensioni dell'hotel. Le camere climatizzate rifatte tutti i giorni ma i letti non altrettanto. Pulizia della camera ottima. Grande e bella hall con personale attento alle esigenze dei clienti e a risolvere le loro richieste. Ristorazione nella media con poche varietà di cibi. Animazione piacevole.

Wir waren zufrieden wie immer. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Das Essen war auch gut, mit grossen auswahl. Jetzt sogar sie haben auf die Diabetiker auch gedacht. Bei dem Essen ein teil war mit Diabetiker Produkte. Wir empfelen weiter das Hotel für unsere Bekannte auch. Die Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Wir machen wieder Urlaub dort.

Prima Urlaubshotel

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt, schöner Pool, nicht weit zum Adria Strand, da kann man schön unter Pinien liegen oder ein Stück weiter gibt es auch einen Sandstrand. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend; man merkt ja immer erst wie die Leute drauf sind, wenn es wirklich mal Probleme gibt und wir hatten ein/zwei mal ein Problem. Da war man sofort um eine Lösung bemüht und uns wurde schnell und unkompliziert geholfen; wirklich Klasse! Die Zimmer sind o. k. üblicher Hotel Standard an der Sauberkeit hatten wir nichts auszusetzen. Wir hatten Halbpension, haben immer etwas leckeres gefunden; es war genügend Auswahl vorhanden. Positiv überrascht waren wir davon, dass es zum Abendbuffet kostenlos Getränke gab, dass hatten wir nicht erwartet. Gegen Ende unseres Urlaubes wurde es ziemlich voll im Hotel, dann hatte man hin und wieder schon mal ein Parkplatz-Problem. Schluss endlich haben wir aber immer noch ein Plätzchen gefunden. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.
