Nice hotel with good room and balcony. Quiet, safe, comfortable and convenient location. Its walkable to shopping, restaurants and the water (5 minutes or less). It is also a 10 minute walk to the train station. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is fine and the staff is kind—but the rooms are very dated and ‘beige’. There is a fridge but no kettle or coffee maker. The furniture is old and a bit depressing. The linens were clean and comfortable, but everything else felt very dated and old. It’s a nice location within walking distance to beaches, but everything in Collioure is in walking distance to beaches. It’s nice that there’s parking, but I was told that if I move my car to take a day trip, I wousl lose my parking spot, which seems ridiculous and unfair. Overall, it’s just ok. Definitley not a special get away or memorable experience. It’s basically a place to sleep.

Our room was very clean. The heating and Airconditioning worked perfectly when required. Bathroom and shower modern and clean. The hotel has private parking spaces in front and their own private lot behind all for a reasonable fee. Their is also a commercial lot across the street. The location is great within the central city by the waterfront. Easy walking everywhere.

In the centre of a popular resort

This hotel is ideally situated. There is free parking for a limited period outside the hotel and further parking nearby. There arefree places in the hotel parking for about half the guests. The main area for swimming eating and sightseeing is very close, and as teh town is on a steep slope, this is important.

We have stayed in this hotel many times. We love the location and peaceful and very pretty setting. It is only a minute from the high street and a very short walk to the beach. Upon arrival this time nothing was too much trouble for the concierge who managed to find us a parking place and give us detailed information about the local restaurants. We always feel very valued and welcome here.

Such a cute hotel in the centre of everything! We lived our room and the concierge was so helpful, showing us to our room and giving lots of advice about where to eat and visit. He even marked it on a map for us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Collioure!

Parking in Collioure is a nightmare, the hotel has a few parking spaces in front of it but not enough. The hotel is well situated near the centre of the town so for older persons with limited mobility you are close to all the wonderful little restaurants in the narrow streets. Asked for a wake up call on the last day which didn't arrive.

Charming little hotel

Lovely little hotel that is but a stones throw from the market place and restaurants. We stayed in one of their superior rooms that are situated in an annex block. They are air-conditioned and decorated with typical french flair. The beds are good and the rooms are just large enough to be comfortable. Each of their annex rooms have either a balcony or a small patio area. There is free WiFi but it is on the slowish side and can only be used by one person in the room at any time. My advice is to use your own \"mi-fi\" for both speed and security. The breakfast selection is quite good and offers better value than what is on offer at the nearby cafes. The big negative about the hotel (and just about every other hotel in Collioure) is the parking. It's not their fault but if you do manage to park on one of the hotels 12 spaces, you quickly learn not to go out for the day !. Parking aside, this is a gem of a hotel that offers a lovely experience and is wonderfully quiet. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Don't go there

The hotel was expensive and really bad. Colliure was a total disappointment as a village, food was terrible and expensive, it was difficult to park the car and had to walk 20 minutes to the hotel. Don't bother to visit this village it is not worth.

Hôtel Le Mas des Citronniers is a lovely hotel in the centre of coillure. Very convenient location for the train (5min walk) and close to beaches and supermarket. The room we stayed in was very modern and spacious for a couple. We only had breakfast on one morning, by the time we are most of the fresh breads, fruit and juices were gone so probably bad value for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to colliure

Loved the experience. Parked the car right in front of the hotel for free so no problem getting luggage to hotel. Walked about 1/2 block to the petite train and the restaurants and shops. The beach was about a 5 minute walk. It was a very romantic experience and we enjoyed our hotel location and comfort immensely. The bed and air conditioning were very comfortable.

a great, last night on vacation

this was the last night out on a weeklong easter vacation in the south of france and it was a lovely ending. we made the reservation last minute and were worried about availability, condition of properties not sold out, etc. the citronniers was in an excellent location, the rooms were small, but very clean and the staff was more than accommodating.

This was the first time my wife and I visited Collioure and we booked the Le Mas des Citronniers at the last minute because of its avaiIability. This proved to be a good decision; the hotel is very centrally located in the town and offers clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. The decor is a bit tired and there are no tea and coffee making facilities, but overall a pleasant stay for one or two nights.

Big Bed: Small Room

Our double room was barely the size of a single - but with a king-size bed in it. The result was two people jostling for position, edging round the bed. It was all a bit tired too, no coffee-making provision and only 1 plug socket(for the t.v.). Free Wi-fi is advertised but seems very stingy. Only 1 person can log in at a time and the log-in code is repeatedly demanded every time you want to use it. Tiresome! The bedding was clean and comfortable though.

Stayed in garden room and very pleased with standard of room and having terrace was excellent. Not really a garden view - more like bushes hiding next door hotels car park. Although hotel does have guest parking spaces these are not controlled or reserved for guest use only. Locals turning into the adjacent paid car park will take the guest spaces rather than pay. The paid car park next to hotel costs about 3 Euros per 2 hours and you have to pay from 0800 till 2000. Major pain is you can only pay for 2 hours at a time so if you do not get into a guest space the parking logistics can be a pain.

ER only stayed one night at this charming hotel. The rooms are small but our had a balcony an was clean and comfy! No elevator so be careful with bring tons of luggage, we had extra bags an they let us lock them up in the garage and then keep them at the hotel after checking out so that we could enjoy the town since our train didn't leave until 5pm! Awesome customer service!

great location and reasonable value

We had two rooms. One was excellent but the other was fairly basic with a bath tub with only a hand shower and a fairly ancient toilet. Hopefully the hotel will upgrade some of these sub-standard rooms. Location is superb with good parking either alongside the hotel or in an adjacent lot. An easy stroll to everything Collioure has to offer. Service was efficient and friendly.

Long weekend in Collioure

Although our room wasn't ready when we checked in, it only took 30 mins to sort out. my wife and i went for a coffee at the sola cafe and on our return the room was done. The hotel grading is about right as the room was adequate for our needs, basic but clean and comfortable. we have stayed at the sister hotel casa pairal before and would prefer that one as although its more expensive the facilities are more modern.
Would recommend staying here and would come again if rooms were not available at casa pairal.

The location is good and just a strole away from the city center. We understand that the owners are renovating the hotel - which is needed, rooms as well as corridors! We had dinner at the restaurant which was a disapointment. High ambitions but very low delivery. The restaurant itself was nice and so the staff, but there is more to expect. Great location, great shower but noisy neighbours

Stayed for 2 nights in the annex rooms situated in the garden part of the hotel. The location is perfect and only a hop, skip and jump away from the views over the bay and little restaurants. Collioure is truely a hidden gem and even in March was quite hot and sunny.

The parking is tight and limited to 8-10 places in front of the hotel. The is also a public parking alongside the hotel but I believe there is a charge to pay.

The room was satisfactory and and included a medium size plasma TV on the wall. The bathroom was beautifully tiled and the shower was powerful and always hot (a bath is also featured). The location of the room was away from the bustle of the street but unfortunately the upstairs occupants decided to play 'let's shuffle the furniture' which involved dragging chairs across the tiled flooring for 2-3 hours. Not the most relaxing!

We decided to eat breakfast out but the best value options were coffee/juice/croissant/bread and jams for 5.50 euros and so next time will probably opt for the larger selection of the hotel for 2.5 euros more to 'breakfast like a king'. Wi fi is available but if you haven't bought your laptop then there are no internet facilities at the hotel.

Overall I would recommend this hotel but stay on the top floor of the garden annex!

Conveniently situated

The hotel is situated on the main road into the town about 250 metres from the harbour and within very easy reach of most shops and restaurants of which there are more than enough to cater for most tastes and pockets.
There is free parking immediately in front of the hotel adjoining the footpath (there may be more but I am unaware of it although there is a public car park nest to the hotel). At busy times the access to those spaces is physically limited and may require some delicate manoeuvring but, for sheer convenience and security it would be hard to beat.
The main road and the hotel's position in relation to the town centre did not cause us any problems in relation to noise and the air conditioning make the room very comfortable.
All in all an ideal hotel for access to the town and castle.

Smelly room ruined the experience.

I am sorry to say I was very unsatisfied with my stay this time. Last year I stayed at the same hotel, in the main building. My room then was good and clean with a balcony. (Only wierd thing was that the toilet door didn’t reach the ceiling so that would have been an awkward thing if travelling as a pair.)

However this time I got one of the terrace rooms, on the ground floor. As soon as I opened the door there was a very unpleasant, pungent smell hitting me. It was the underlying note of sewer smell but covered up with some horrific room freshner. I even heard a beep in the bathroom so my guess is that they had an automatic fragrance dispenser.
I knew the hotel was fully booked so I didn’t bother to ask for a new room, and I didn’t have much time before my dinner reservation so I went with it. Returning from the restaurant a civilization of anta had taken over the floors so I kept my shoes on. I laid in the bed while the pungent smell filled my lungs, slowly getting so familiar I didn’t notice it, but still I felt like I was being marinated in toilet smell. My only hope was to fall asleep quickly so I could go outside in the morning. However, that soon proved to be impossible as by midnight, a car alarm on the hotel parking started to go off, and then kept calling every quarter for two hours before anyone had located the owner.
Anyway, I woke up, took a shower and then went outside to fill my lungs with air. Stating to myself that next time, I will pick another hotel.

I arrived early and was given my room early - very helpful for making the most of limited time in Collioure. Nice balcony room and great breakfast.

Chambres sans ascenseur très petites et pas insonorisées. Le personnel est bruyant parle très fort et cogne les meubles. Il n’est guère possible de se reposer. Ne vaut pas son coût

Enorme problème pour stationner un 8 mai. Hotel avec très petit parking, parking municipal plein dès le matin.
Personnel très sympathique.
Sur le site internet on pense qu'il y a un jardin ou un patio, mais ce n'est pas le cas, dommage.

Bonjour personnel serviable et agréable. Séjour agréable, petit dej bien mais pas beaucoup de choix. Dans les toilettes il faudrait une barre pour handicapé.
