This pristine and beautiful property took our breath away upon arrival. Five star service and amenities abound. Our suite was stunning and well appointed. We felt as if we stepped back in time and were reminded of what outstanding service and accommodations should be like ~ a much needed respite after a busy week in Florence. The restaurants were outstanding. Top notch property and my husband referred to Borgo Santo Pietro as the most beautiful hotel he’s ever stayed at. So very grateful. The Heils

The lights in the garden outside are on all night and the curtains don’t block the light. Despite multiple requests they were unable to switch them off. This was emblematic of a generally rigid attitude to service throughout. Breakfast ends abruptly. At exactly ending time all serving spoons are whisked away and doors to food closed. This didn’t stop them running out of yoghurt early however. The food was poor. My bean soup was a warmed up heap of beans that were still cold inside leading me to imagine a rapid but inadequate microwave. The property is beautiful but let down and I came away feeling unhappy and frustrated. The exact opposite of the feeling one wants after a stay in the countryside.

The Best thing about “Borgo Santo Pietro” are the people that work there. The most memorable place to finish an Italian Vacation. It’s not my first time, and it’s not my last..
Everyone should spend time with “Justino” herb specialist.. he is the nicest person in all of Tuscany
The Best cooking class , especially this season..

Great great experience. A beautiful property, great staff , nice walking areas around it . The farm and animals added a nice charm.
We loved the food, the tranquille ambience, hotel cats, everything was great. The only thing they need to improve is the concierge service ( one of them was not very responsive ) and had limited options to suggest even though the area around the property has lots of things to do. Yet, we would be happy to go back. Take care of the cats . And really the food is superb .

This resort is unlike anything I've ever experienced. It's beautiful, the staff accommodates your every need, and they really embrace \"farm to table \". They organize activities, or allow you to relax as you like. I saw young families there, which surprised me. I was there with my adult daughter as part of a college trip. But this resort is perfect for couples.

The main building is gorgeous. The separate cottages for some of the rooms are very large and nice. The food was excellent. It is definitely a very high end property. That is reflected in the price, though. As beautiful as the property was, along with excellent service, I couldn't help but think the price was too high compared to other beautiful places we stayed during our trip to Italy.

Good, but not great.

One cannot fault the hotel's overall offer, however, I'm afraid it lacked a certain level of detail in terms of some elements of service and also the condition of the bedroom.

SERVICE
We dined at the Michelin Star restaurant and would not have expected to find a junior server who obviously didn't know the correct manner in which food and drinks should be served. On the last day (my wife's birthday) as requested we were given a secluded garden table, only to find that the cushions and furniture were wet to sit on as a result of the furniture being covered in a heavy dew. This is NOT the level of service on would expect!
Finally, on check-out, no-one asked if our stay had been great, was there anything we would like to comment on, good or bad.
BEDROOM
The bedroom curtains were torn in a couple of places and the bathroom blind didn't come all the way down the window which left one's modesty exposed due to the window overlooking the hotel entrance.
The best part of the service was the the anticipative attention given by the members of the pool/tree-house restaurant, they were exceptional.

Best Place EVER

We stay at a lot of high end hotels/resorts in Europe and this is probably the best one we have ever stayed at, the property is gorgeous , the service is fantastic , the 2 restaurants serve incredible, fresh organic food, the pool is amazing with an end where you can hang out in the pool and look out onto the Tuscan Countryside, the rooms are beautifully decorated , comfortable beds , your own private area off the room with sun loungers, the gardens are amazing and the staff is very friendly and attentive, small enough that they know who you are during your stay, can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be returning ! I rate it 10 Stars Plus

The hotel has been tastefully decorated, flowers everywhere within, the gardens perfectly manicured. There is nothing I can complain about when it comes to this hotel. There are 2 restaurants, one formal and the other less so. The prices in both are fairly expensive, the bistro could be less so. The breakfast is perfect. There is no describing how pretty the terrace is that you sit for breakfast. The service within the hotel also faultless.

One of the best stays in my life!

I've been to most of the world..

Japan, US, UK, most of Europe, Australia, bali, Canada.. Etc..

And stayed in many luxury resorts and 5 stars hotels (4 seasons, Ritz,..)

This without doubt of the top hotel I ever stayed in my life..

I took a tour with the head of farming at the hotel and learned a lot about plants.. And ot was for free!

All their for food and plants are all natural (no pesticides been used)

They have more than 300 thousands plants! I asked if I can buy some of there home made honey but they are not ready to sell yet! But they give me a small portion as a gift :)

Again, this is one of the most enjoyable places we ever stayed in!

From the moment you drive through the wrought iron gates and manicured gardens you know you are staying somewhere special . The12 th century building has been restore decadently with careful attention to detail . The view to the green rolling Tuscan countryside is breathtaking. The service is impeccable and the food is mouthwatering. One of the best places I've ever stayed. I'll definitely be back .

Absolutely Spectacular Hotel

My husband and I have been fortunate to stay in many of the best hotels, both large and small, in the world. Borgo Santo Pietro has now seized the \"top spot\", surpassing our former favorite on the Amalfi coast. No detail has been missed. The rooms are exquisite, the service impeccable, the grounds beautiful and the food is world class. We enjoyed our five course tasting menu so much one evening that we requested the alternative tasting menu the following evening. While incredibly inventive, the cuisine is not overly fussy. As for the service,the staff, led by the incomparable Claudine and assisted by the wonderful Gian Luca, deserves an entire paragraph for their expert handling of every request, all while creating an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. During our stay, the hotel was sponsoring both an artist in residence who offered classes and also painted various scenes of the grounds, as well as a yoga instructor from New Zealand who offered free classes by the pool. We are currently staying in another five star Relais & Chateaux in Tuscany that is lovely, but which cannot begin to compare to our experience at Borgo Santo Pietro. We are already planning our next trip back in 2015.

Paraíso na terra!

Ficamos hospedados por duas noites. A suite era ampla, decorada com primor. O serviço extremamente cordial. Uma linda piscina, cercada de bela natureza. Comemos nos dois dias na Trattoria do hotel, que serve comida deliciosa e tem um serviço perfeito, caloroso e simpático. Voltaria mil vezes se possível.
