My problem is with the room. Hard bed and pillows and old bed linen. When linen becomes old it doesn’t feel smooth anymore making it uncomfortable to lie on. Some aspects of the room

Das Suite Laguna Hotel hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist perfekt, nah am Strand und an der Altstadt, mit kostenlosem Shuttle zum Strand.

Mein Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und wurde regelmäßig gereinigt. WLAN funktionierte zuverlässig, und es gab täglich frisches Wasser sowie Kaffee/Tee im Zimmer.

Frühstück und Abendessen waren abwechslungsreich und lecker. Besonders das freundliche Personal, im Restaurant und an der Rezeption, hat meinen Aufenthalt angenehm gemacht.

Der Poolbereich war sauber, Handtücher für Pool und Strand inklusive. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Fazit: Empfehlenswertes Hotel mit toller Lage und freundlichem Service. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Dirtiest hotel I've ever seen

Service people were nice, particularly the lady named Aybuke and a young man whom we met at reception and they did their best to help us. But every corner of the hotel was the dirtiest I'd ever seen in my life - floor, bathroom, shelves. Looks like food bowls, containers and cups were washed by hand every day - there were spots on everything at breakfast buffet. When we arrived, the trash bins on our floor were literally stinking and were removed only the following day. We stayed here for 3 days and there was a bad smell of trash on our floor every day. This hotel needs to be properly cleaned.

Overall I am pleased, especially with the location. It is close to everything: the beach, the museum, and the old city center, parks and dining. Currently a demolition is going on right across the street, so it is a little noisy. The room is small but clean and has everything. I wish there were chairs at the balcony, but again with the current construction noise the balcony is not very enjoyable. The breakfast was good, although overpriced.

I would suggest labelling the buffet foods with dish names and ingredients. There was no labelling on anything. So, I couldn't try most food as I didn't know what was what. Another funny one is there is no mirror in the rooms. One small mirror in the bathroom is not always enough. staff are great though. They help when help is requested. Rest of the times they can be seen chilling. All the men at the reception were great. The only one lady in the reception made me feel like I was wasting her time! This should not happen when in customer service role. The lady was NOT good

The hotel was in ok condition and I appreciated the small balcony in the standard room. The location was a short walk to coastal views and a quick walk to bus stops that take you to the mountains. Breakfast was enough to start the day. The mattress in room 1401 was a little uncomfortable. However, all staff were friendly.

The overall experience was good. The restaurant staff were attentive and helpful. Food was a bit repetitive but good salad choice.
Receptionist was a bit fierce.
Lovely swimming pool although a bit near to outside dining space.
Comfort !!! The mattress need looking at they are not comfortable, this has been mentioned in previous reviews. I spoke to other guests and they all mentioned the uncomfortable mattresses. They need sorting.

Hotel is in a good location, 20 mins walk to the old town or jump a taxi right outside reception, plenty of small supermarkets, pharmacys and other shops close by for essentials. Its clean and looked after and being on my own, the area is safe at night, even at 3 in the morning!! They offer a free transfer to local beaches, didn't use it but its there if you want it. Room was good enough for the price, cleaned each day with fresh towels, coffee, tea, sugar and bottled water, buy some milk locally, aircon was good enough. The wifi was good, staff friendly, the pool although small was clean with comfy sun loungers. Breakfast was a little lacking, dont expect a full English, saying that you wont find one in resort either so its par for the course. Had a look at the evening meal and same goes so full board isnt worth it, there are loads of restaurants in the old town, didnt find them at first but when i did i had a ball, Dubh lin bar sells Guiness!! Roberts coffee is worth a visit for dinner, go to the end of the street towards the sea, cross the road and through the security barriers slightly to the right, modern and the foods good. Only downside is theres a Mineret very, very close to the hotel so 4.30am its full blast call to prayer, i was in direct line on the 6th floor overlooking the pool, you have been warned!! Happy travels.

Great oasis in the middle of Antalya with balconies on the rooms and a pool and garden to enjoy. Food was excellent and the staff were good. The hotel only has small rooms and some balconies are tiny but overall a great stay as we enjoyed Antalya from this base

I booked a double room for my husband and Myself 6 weeks in advance and informed the hotel we would be a late check in. When we arrived at 2.30am we were given a family room which was very disappointing especially as looking into other rooms they were far superior. The kitchen area was dirty and the balcony was also filthy. I told reception the next day and they said they would change our room on the Friday which was the day we were leaving so not much point. VERY disappointing and certainly won’t be returning.

The food was barely edible; there was no real choice, just a matter of which salad you wanted. The swimming pool was frankly pathetic, too small to even be called a pool. The beds were so rough so that you couldn’t get a single good night of sleep without suffering from pack pain. The cleanliness of the hotel is also at doubt: sometimes days would pass without your room being cleaned, to the point where you would have to call up reception to request something so simple. In short, I don’t recommend this hotel at all. The city itself was considerably more pleasant, on the other hand, I can definitely recommend visiting.

I just give a bad point to the cleaner , who treated us roughly & angrily , I don't know why? Once I asked her to change the towels daily but she answered me that the changing is every two days & I have two children and the room will definitely be a bit dirty.

The hotel has a great location, very close to many shops, restaurants and the old city. The stuff are very helpful and friendly. Mostly they are the reason we came back for the second time here. The food is good, but not the best and the rooms and bathrooms need a refresh. Some appliences are old and they need to be changed. Anyway, it is a decent place to stay.

On a one way road, far from sea, nothing much near by ,most of staff don’t speak English , plenary of food with limited variety, not much of cooked dishes.
Overcrowded dining area . Good thing it is easy to get bus to airport from main road. Wouldn’t stay in it again.

The stay was not-so good, on the night of arrival we checked in and asked the gentleman at the reception for an iron, he didn’t understand what I was asking for as the staff at this hotel had limited English so when I showed him a picture he said the hotel did not have irons and if I wanted to iron my clothes I could go to the laundrette across the road.
We stayed at the hotel for five nights, our bins were not emptied the first two nights until we left them in the middle of the room to be emptied and our bedding was not changed the entire stay.
Throughout the night you could hear the sound of the gutter coming from the bathroom
When I tried to use the hairdryer it blew up on my leg and the staff responded really rudely and said we would have to wait, to which I said we had to be somewhere and they advised that it was because we were charging our phones. We received no apology or acknowledgement that the hairdryer blew up, instead we were treated rudely by s number of staff at the hotel.
Breakfast was terrible and they charged you for any drinks you had.

City Hotel for the Budget Conscious

I was very pleased to find the service and support from the hotel team to be exemplary.

I would class the Suite Laguna Hotel as a budget hotel similar to the \"Ibis Styles\" brand in europe. Ideally placed to explore Antalya, the Marina on one side, the new Ataturk Park behind and Konyalti Beaches and promenade all within ten to twenty mins walking shorter by Taxi. ( not expensive )

The room was satisfactory and as booked, however the Air conditioning or Climate control was a let down, it was not working correctly which made the July nighttime heat unbearable and the noise from the constant throbbing of the AC unit battling to work, resulted in me eventually having a better nights sleep with it turned off.

The restaurant was good, service again excellent maybe a little hurried as they do like to clear anything empty away quickly.

It is worth noting the morning breakfast buffet selection is weighted to the mediterranean and local tastes.
The evening restaurant buffet service was again very pleasant and choices changed daily.
For the European holiday maker however the choices lacked any depth.

All in all this is a well run hotel albeit a little tired around the edges.
I would say good value for commercial travellers or one to four nighters, any more is a stretch for the Euro holidaymaker as your a good fifteen minutes from the Marina nightlife..

For my part I cannot complain as I was on a short visit to see friends and felt that they provided value for money.

We liked our stay at this property because the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our suite was clean and looked warm and welcoming on arrival. The property location was within a short walk of the foreshore, where the views are amazing.
The traditional Turkish breakfast offered was a wonderful variety of fresh and cooked dishes prepared by their chef.

Nice big room with a view of the small swimming pool and garden. We had no difficulty finding parking for our car as free parking lots are available by the hotel and in the nearby local streets. The breakfast and dinner menu was also very good with good selection of items, Overall, we enjoyed our one night stay, However, for people booking this hotel because of the swimming pool be warned that the swimming pool is very small (its perhaps the smallest I have seen in my travels) with dimension like 2m by 4m so if twenty people use the pool, it is literally full.

What I didn’t like about this hotel:-

The reception staff’s are horrible as they need to tack some course on how to deal with customers!

One room didn’t have an air conditioning and asked for change they didn’t agree as they say (it was shown in the photos on booking.com the room does not have air conditioning), So they expect you to get information from the photos not the written instructions of this hotel !!!!

If you don’t interact with the receptions staff at all then you may find your stay at the hotel ok.

The food was not that great, it was just ok.

What I did like about this hotel:-

The hotel location is good as it’s near shop’s for shopping and does have a good parking space.

The overall room was nice and spacious. However they had a very thin throw to put over us when sleeping- I understand that it’s hot hence why they have those, but I specifically requested a thick duvet one of the nights as I was cold and was told they don’t have any even though my sister in the next room had one in her wardrobe already.

The staff can’t speak english properly so it is hard to communicate. The breakfast facilities were really poor. There wasn’t really much to eat. Also on our last day I asked if I could have a runny egg as the eggs were all hard boiled. The manager asked us to pay, even though they were making eggs and all they had to do was take my one out a couple of minutes earlier LOL.

Overall the stay was nice as the location was nice and the people who were staying at the hotel were lovely company, but it’s the little things that stay on your mind.

There is mostly two different young guys at the reception and they seem bit unfriendly but answered all my questions politely. No smile or greeting at the check in. When we got up to the room, we discovered that they had given us 2 single beds even though we had asked for a double. This was sorted out the day after due to limited availability of the rooms, bearing in mind that I was allowed to check in 9 hours earlier with no extra costs. Other tourists have mentioned that guests can't bring own drinks. This was the same for my stay in a different hotel in Marmaris but I have still always brought in Drinks from outside. Nobody in this hotel stopped me from doing so. Hotel is clean and well situated. Easy to get to old town or city centre within a 20 minutes walk. Breakfast buffet was exceptionally good and because of having a half board booking, I also ate the dinner in the evenings. Both meals were the best food I have ever had in any hotel and very impressive selection. Some of the staff speak basic English, some of them are very friendly and helpful, but some of them are grumpy. English language was a struggle for the most of Antalya and I kept remembering how good my holiday to Marmaris was in 2015 with regards to everyone speaking English fluently. WiFi was not working for most of the day unless I used it between 5am-7am. There is an old mosque next door, which is very convenient for anyone who wants to read their prayers five times.

We have stayed here many times as it is close to where our friends live. Easy to get to by taxi from airport. Has a swimming pool. Convenient for tram to old city and beach. A really friendly and welcoming hotel

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay! They were very helpful and answered any questions we had regarding the area and things to do. The staff did a brilliant job at keeping everything beautifully clean; checking our rooms and renewing linen and towels everyday! It's within a short walk of the city centre and there is a good bus service provided by the hotel for free to the beach at intervals throughout the day, which only takes about five minutes! There was good air conditioning in our room and there is also Wifi, at a small extra cost. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Ok

Wifi should be free espcially connections is very bad but still have to pay. Everything went well except for one evening when i was enquiry about coffee which was on hotel's list i thought was free the night personel was very rude, sarcastic and no respect he was actually arguing with me which spoiled my evening. theres hasnt been an appologise for his action hence loose a star. But there was a waitor most evening he was very hospitable we enjoyed every meal in his company thank you benjamin

The staff are nice and cooperated, the location in the city center but fare from the beach, the suite was smelly I kept the windows open for two days to refresh the air, the serving corner is very bad, the suite furniture is old, the food average , the swimming pool water is very dirty

A very enjoyable stay with excellent location and clean hotel. But shame about the staff being very stuck up and struggle to even smile. Water was charged for and no free wifi. Even when we had paid for it the connection was very poor.It would be better if they increase the price of the hotel room and have free water and wifi

The only fruit was watermelon.
the food was almost the same everydag. Just one of the crow could speak english.
