The staff were all quite friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The only thing that would have made the room better is air conditioning, but that was not a big deal. The hotel's private parking is handy and relatively easy to get in and out of. The location is convenient for walking to all of the major sights in Banska Bystrica as well as restaurants, bars, & shops.

Good sized apartment at a reasonable price

My wife and I stayed here for four nights. The hotel is one street behind the town square in the old part of town and only 5 minutes walk to Banská Bystrica Mesto railway station. The location is good, being close to the Europa Shopping Mall (10 minutes) and the central train and bus stations (15 minutes walk).
The hotel has a nice entrance foyer that adjoins a cafe that is used by hotel guests for their breakfast. Breakfasts were included and there was a good selection catering for many different tastes.
Check-in was quick and efficient and the staff, who spoke reasonable English were very helpful.
Our room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and serviced daily. There was room for a lounge and coffee table. There was also plenty of hanging space and places to store our luggage.
The bathroom has a shower over a bathtub. However the shower is a hand held one and is set at midriff height with no shower screen or curtain making it difficult to wash yourself. There are also no towel racks if you want to reuse your towels.
The room has heating but no aircon. It was very hot (around 27C) and because it is on a busy street is very noisy at night. If you closed the windows to shut out the noise it was stifling hot and if you kept the windows open the noise disturbed your sleep. In summer, ask for a room that doesn’t face the road.

The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful. Had a secure parking lot behind the hotel. Room was surprisingly large; everything was clean and comfortable. Very short walk from the hotel to the city square.

A great spot to stay in a little-know city

This hotel is basically a new, serviced apartment in an enviable location; one street away from major attractions like the extensive main square with a host of summer alfresco dining options, the top class SNP (military) museum and a short walk to the largest nightclub in Central Europe. Never heard of it? I'd suggest going for a trip to Banksa Bystricka!

Great welcome and even better after that

The receptionist at the hotel put us at ease from the word get go. Everything was sorted out, car parking opened up and then we went up to the room. The room was a palace with kitchen dining area, lounge area and bed and with ample shelves.

Location was 50metres walk from town square. I could not fault the hotel nor the stay.

Very Good Price Value

Spacious, clean, well-appointed room in a very convenient location for walking to the town center. Very helpful, friendly and competent reception staff and very nice breakfast. Not a luxury hotel, but quite pleasant and very good price/value. They need to get blackout curtains however.

It is OK but did not have the amenities promised

The hotel lists on its website \"All units have kitchens with stovetops, microwaves, refrigerators, and separate dining areas.\". This is not true. Our room only had a small refrigerator. The person who checked us in didn't speak much English (it was a Sunday) and we had a difficulty communicating wit her about a hair dryer (which they didn't have) and Internet access in the room (which doesn't always work) so I didn't try to ask about the kitchen. Overall, the room is spacious, neighborhood is nice, it is very close to the city center. The toilet seat had a hair on it, but otherwise everything seemed clean and we slept well. Oh, and there are not drapes to black out the room, so if light bothers while sleeping then you should bring an eye patch. Also, the TV is only in Slovakian.

It was an OK stay

The room was spacious and clean. I wish they had blinders to black out the room if you don't want to be woken up by the morning light. We arrived by train, and found it very confusing to know which bus to get to the hotel, there was no option for a taxi (the office was closed) and no one at the station spoke English. They should enhance their directions with an advise of which buses to take. The wifi works only in the public areas as noted. There is no option for Wifi in the rooms (Even paid), however, depends on your room's location you might catch the signal from the one intended for public areas.

Great location. Easy walk along the river to the bus station... or super quick taxi ride. Very helpful staff with excellent knowledge of English. Nice studio apartments with kitchens right near the center of town.

Izba pekne zariadená a vykúrená. V kúpeľni by to chcelo o vešiak alebo poličku navyše. Raňajky boli výborné a personál ústretový. Akurát hotelové parkovisko je trochu nadivoko.

По приезду нас заселил сразу. Номер просторный, чистый, есть все необходимое, начиная с полотенца, заканчивая с плиты для приготовления еды, плоского телевизора и музыкального центра. Накормили вкусным завтраком. Приветливый персонал. Отель в центре Банска Быстрицы, так что всё в минутной доступности от ресторанов и баров, до музеев, галерей и достопримечательностей, ж/д станция.

Zu empfehlen

Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe am Zentrum und ist für auch fuer alle Unternehmungen in der Stadt optimal geeignet. Unser Raum war sehr geräumig und mit Kühlschrank und Küche ausgestattet. Leider im heuer heissen August ohne Klimaanlage nur mit offenen Fenstern zu ertragen. Dies war aber wegen der sehr lauten Straße nur mit Ohropax möglich. Momentan wird das Erdgeschoss renoviert, der Lärm war aber kaum hörbar. Frühstück sehr gut, es können frische Eierspeisen aus der Küche geordert werden. Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel verfügbar.

バスタブ付きホテル

駅バスセンターより遠いのでタクシーの予定だがトロリーバスで行けた。バス停より5分で旧市街の中で便利。部屋広くキチン付きで料理出来た。ないそう新しく気持ち良い。ただ朝食7時遅く早く出発したので冷たいものしか食べれなかった。

Super hotel og super service!

Rigtig nydeligt hotel!

Hotellet ligger få hundrende metre fra centrum, og man går lige forbi et udendøres tank museum hvis man er på vej op at shoppe.
Yderest lækker cafe/restaurant der var tilknyttet til hotellet, men en rigtig service mindet tjener, som huskede om man brugte mælk i kaffen eller ej.
På vores hjem rejses dag skulle vi tidligt afsted,og da vi ikke kunne nå morgen mad, lavede køkkenet os en lækker madpakke uden extra omkostninger!

Det eneste negative jeg kan sige om dette hotel var at vi var så uheldige at WIFI routeren gik i stykker midt i weekenden og det kunne ikke laves før om mandagen, og så det begrænset parkerings plads foran hotellet.

Ellers var det et rigtig dejligt ophold, og ville med glæde booke hos dette hotel igen!

Wie zu Hause in B.B.

Zentrale Lage, alles da was man so benötigt. Parkplatz (gratis)im Hof; wichtig, da Hotel in der Kurzparkzone liegt.
Wenn dazu noch ein grösserer Fernseher käme, wäre das nicht zu toppen.
[Ich frage mich immer, wie schauen die Leute TV zu Hause? Im Jahr 2016 wohlgemerkt! Durch ein Guckloch?]
