Tucked away just steps from the Alcazar. A little hard to find on a motorcycle but there’s free motorcycle parking just across the square. Unfortunately the hotel’s rooftop bar was under renovation but otherwise it’s a great choice. Breakfast either early or later to avoid the crowds on package tours. The room was delightful and well equipped. Recommended.

Lastimosamente el aire acondicionado no funciono muy bien y el cuarto estaba muy caliente. No nos ofrecieron un descuento en el parqueadero. El hotel esta siendo remodalado y habia ruido de construccion en la manana. La razon principal por la que reservamos este hotel fue por la terraza y estaba cerrada.

We stayed here from April 5-6, 2026. Hotel is in very good location. The only disadvantage is that there is no coffee in room. Room and hotel is very neat, towels are very good, bathroom design and shower design is very good compared to other hotels in Spain. Shower has door that closes completely, no water spillage to outside. Bathroom has door that closes completely. Breakfast location downstairs was an excellent breakfast with lot of choices and quality is there. Breakfast room has gothic architecture, very neat, ambience is very good. Very good quality hotel, we liked staying here and we can recommend to our family / friends.

Very central historical hotel in the very core of the historical UNESCO heritage site of Toledo. Just a step away of Toledo Catedral, the Toledo Alcazar, the plaza de Zocodover and many good restaurants. The breakfast is also very good, includes slices of manchego cheese! The only downside is that they unfortunately don’t provide water in the bedrooms, there’s a freezer but nothing is provided inside and the machines in the reception don’t accept card payment. Management should review this, since to provide a couple of water bottles to guests doesn’t cost too much. This made me take out one star of the review as it was very annoying.

The hotel is in prime location, the staff amazing, however, it has some issues, the temperature in the room March 7,8,026....it was 13/15 degree outside, but inside the room it was too hot for me. I suggest to get electric fans available, (no A/C) in winter.
The roof tapas bar was closed for renovations, not good....

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was superb. Comfy beds, quiet, the only complaint we had was that both times we tried to have a shower, there was very little hot water. For us that’s a dealbreaker. Fix this issue and we would definitely stay here again. But without the assurance of a good shower I can’t say we would.

Wow. There really isn’t any other words to describe this property. From the moment we entered the door to when we checked out it was truly a delightful experience. We stayed in 8 different places on our Spain trip and this was our favorite. Our room was lovely, clean, beds were comfortable, and the check in staff were very friendly and even let us check in early. There is a roof top bar and restaurant that is very nice. The staff there were just ok, we only ordered drinks, burrata salad and dessert, and felt a little unworthy of being in the dining area- we had to assure them we were ordering food to be allowed to sit at the table when the restaurant wasn’t full and being a rainy night, probably wasn’t going to get full. Not a big deal and not a deal breaker, we still absolutely loved the hotel.

The staff was fantastic; however, we didn't get the rooms we thought we had reserved. We were in a newly built or remodeled annex. The rooms were extremely small. We indicated when we made our reservations that we had an infant but the rooms were too small to put a crib in.

There is no WiFi in your room. It is available in the lobby only. We were in the “updated” side of the hotel and the air conditioning did not work properly. Needless to say it was very hot, of course. The room was very cool with bare wood ceilings. There is no parking at this hotel. They have an agreement with a garage down the hill. Do not drive through the city, instead drive all the way around on the outside of the wall, then venture in to the hotel. Breakfast was 12.50 euro but worth it for the other area options. Parking will be about 23 euro in the large lot. I

Great location. Room was smaller than others we stayed in Spain, but clean and comfortable. What we really disliked was both nights we stayed, we tried to use the roof top bar and both nights it was packed with a very large group that had more than half of it reserved and all the servers attention was given to them. We tried to order drinks and dessert and finally cancelled our order after 40 mins of waiting for one dessert while the group was constantly being served trays of food and drinks. Large group also had many smokers making it uncomfortable for our table near by and no other open tables to move to. Our server also was not patient or polite.

My only gripe is the AC is operated from the lobby and they wouldn't lower it to much. I was hot at night. If you open the windows you hear the outside noise and let flys in. Carlos V was a total disappointment! When we booked our stay, there was NO mention that it is not reachable by car. We parked at a nearby public parking lot and then rolled up the hill our suitcases until we reached the hotel! Secondly, the room was very hot as the air-condition was not working. They told us that it would not be fixed until Monday and it was Saturday. They also told us to open the window to cool the room. But the noise outside would not let us sleep! The curtain that hung in front of said window was dusty and our allergies kicked in. We then decided to not stay for our second night and checked out. However, they didn't refund us for the second night. The receptionist said that she would relay our complaints to the Manager. Very disappointing!
