Room with a sauna all to myself was amazing. This property is undergoing some renovations and the staff clearly are pulling the weight of this hotel to make it quality. They are friendly, helpful and so accommodating. Location is waterfront, serene and quiet -particularly compared to hotels located within city center/square. Breakfast was very good. I highly recommend the orange marmalade!

Nice and clean hotel & abundant breakfast. The bathroom was very sterile and cold and the big tv did not really work (pixels were messy and sound cutting). Truck traffic outside of the main entrance woke me up early in the morning.

Peppery was under renovation, which was not known at the time of booking. Temporary reception & dinning set up. Access to rooms was from the outside via the basement. No elevators & steep circular stairs. Pavement outside was extremely uneven & as it was raining, lots of deep puddles & mud. Room was basic and set up like a dormitory style. The hotel is ranked 4 star and did not meet expectations at all.

This hotel did not match the price they are charging. The rooms are outdated and the bathroom was like something out of a bad movie.. tiles were old and dirty and and the toilet had stains.
On top of this the room had a smell of sewerage.
The bed was comfortable though.
For the money you can do better.

OK hotel in Vasaa

Mostly OK, but the hotel seemed too busy for the number of staff working ans service was very slow.

In the room, we could not get a comfortable temperature at all which didn't help with sleep when we needed an early start.

Nice for business event

Was there for on site training. Hotel is old and while kept cleaned, it shows its age. Hotel is right by the water which is pretty but not on the city center, if that is what you are looking for. It is next to a water park which would probably be the main reason to stay there if that is what you are doing.

Very quiet but a bit boring

The Superior room was big and ok with 2 twin-beds (don't plan to use them as a single-bed, they will move away), a sofa, a table, a desk, a minibar,... all what you can find in this kind of bedroom. The bathroom was quite small but enough.
The hotel itself was very quiet, and you get a free access to the spa which was very boring and empty. I guess that during weekends and holidays the hotel and spa are full and noisy.
The corridors inside the hotel look endless. You will have walk a lot.
The parking places are free but the surrounding is dead. You need to take your car if you want to have a drink or a meal outside of the hotel, downtown.
The staff was pleasant but the hotel itself looked cold and dead.

Nice place to stay

We arrived at the hotel for a business trip for a few days, and when we arrived it was a bit of a Ghost town, apparently all the kids had gone back to school the week before. So arriving on 19th of august for an english man to a hotel almost being empty was rather a surprise as it felt like we had a great hotel and facilities to ourselves in middle of the summer! Still staff and facilities were good and our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Lots of space to sit in restaurant and outside to see some nice views, i would recommend the hotel for sure

Strange hotel. In what should be nice location

We were on a business trip and stay just before the holiday season but it felt strange. Like a ghost town feel. Location should be great but if you stroll a short distance there is a lot of rubbish and it looks a bit industrial. To be honey I was a bit disappointed. Staff were nice and actually good was quite good. Pool table was a joke. Cue ball not exactly round. More like a dodecahedron!! Table not slate bed. Cues mostly without tips!!! No chalk. If you have a pool table, do it properly!

Beatuful sceanery

Nice place overall. Great place to stay in particular with children. Minus the assortment of coffee in the restaurant. Also only one person serving the whole place, so we had to wait for twenty minutes before we could order any dessert.

Iso huone, jossa motorisoidut sängyt sekä lapsille seinään asennettu kerrossänky lapsille. Huone oli ilmeisesti liikuntarajoitteisille tarkoitettu, vessassa tarpeelliset välineet heitä varten. Valitettavasti toisen motorisoidun sängyn päänpuoleinen motoriikka ei toiminut. Sängyt olivat erityisen mukavia nukkua ja tyynyt ruhtinaallisen isoja.

Huoneessa ei varsinaista ilmastointia ja ilmanvaihto oli todella huono. Hotelli aivan meren rannalla ja hotellilla oma ranta, joka oli valitettavasti täynnä hanhien ulostetta.

Yöpymiseen kuului aamupala, joka oli todella hyvä ja riittoisa. Melko ruuhkaista aamupalalla sesonkiaikoina.

Kun saavuin perjantaina hotellille niin siisteys oli ok mutta ikkunan laudalla kohdalla oli jonkin lainen ötökkä ja kun tulin lauantain ja sunnuntain välisenä yönä huoneeseen kuului ilotulituksia klo 02 jälkeen ja itse säikähdin, henkilökunta olisi voinu kuuluttaa että voi olla rauhassa tai jotain.

Nöjd med vistelsen

Fantastisk lång kö till baren på kvällen, för lite personal var upplevelsen.
Sköna sängar hårda kuddar. Varmt ute men svalt och skönt på rummet. Ändå nöjd med vistelsen som var två nätter.

Hyvä perushotelli. Gluteenitonta syötävää aamupalalla oli hyvin, ja ne oli merkitty selvästi. MUTTA: iso miinus siitä, että gluteenittomien seassa oli kaurapuuro-annospusseja, jotka eivät ole gluteenittomia.

Vi var tyvärr där samtidigt som ett beach-volley sm ägde rum, det var extremt livat halva natten med folk som festade. Det fanns otillräcklig ac på rummet som gjorde att vi behövde öppna ett fönster eftersom det var otroligt varmt, men det gjorde också att en massa högljudda människor höll oss uppe sent in på natten. Under andra omständigheter hade nog vistelsen varit trevligare. Vill dock ge ett STORT plus för frukosten, där fanns nånting för alla smaker och det var otroligt gott!

Palvelut vajaavaiset, siistiä mutta vanhanaikaista

Huone oli tilava, vanhanaikainen mutta siisti.
Superior queen olus huoneessa piti olla kaksi vuodesohvaa, mutta toisesta sohvasta puuttui vuode. Respasta saimme kyllä puuttuvat petivaatteet niin teimme sohvan päälle yhdelle lapselle pedin.

Sunnuntaina ravintolapalveluita ei ollut, mikä tuli yllätyksenä.

Aamupala oli runsas, muttei kovin laadukas. Esim. appelsiinimehu maistui enemmänkin fun lightilta.

Kauniilla paikalla toimiva hotelli 👍

Sänky ihan hyvä, petivaatteet ihanan kevyet pehmoiset, tyyny olis saanut olla ohuempi. Nukuttiin hyvin, sohva ja pöytä puuttui, mitkä oli kuvassa kun valitsin huoneen.

Helg i Vasa

Fint rum med underbar fönster, märks dock att hotellet börjar bli daterat. Bra frukost med varmt och kallt, hade dock önskat mer mörkt mjukt bröd som det ju finns så mycket av i Finland. Smidigt att kunna gå inomhus till Tropoclandia.

Mukava hotelli pienellä puutteilla

Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla. Huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia. Käytävät on pitkät ja ei pääse ulos muista ovista kun pääovesta. Parkkipaikkoja oli melko vähän ja kylpyhuoneet kaipaisi päivitystä. Eikä ole chromecastiä. Muuten sänky mukava ja palvelu ystävällistä

Ihana sijainti meren rannalla ja hyvä aamiainen

Mukava hotelli ihanalla sijainnilla meren rannassa. Se oli itselleni ykkösjuttu. Saunallinen huone oli ilmeisesti tehty joskus yhdistämällä jokin hotellin yleinen sauna huoneeseen, koska sinne mentiin kierreportaita alas. Reilun kokoisessa kylppärissä oli kaksinsuihkua ja saunakin oli selvästi alunperin tehty isommalle porukalle. Mutta hyvin toimi näinkin. Aamiais-buffet oli todi hyvä ja monipuolinen. Saimme syödä ravintolassa koiran kanssa ihan respan vieressä, koska siellä asti ei ollut muita. Mukava kokemus ja tullaan toistekin.

Perheen yöpyminen osana muuta matkaa.

Saavuimme laivalla Vaasaan kello 24 jälkeen. Hotelli oli muutaman minuutin ajomatkan päässä, ja vaikka hotelli olikin täynnä, parkkipaikka löytyi vaivatta isolta pysäköintialueelta pääoven läheltä. Vastaanottovirkailija oli ystävällinen ja mukava, ja pääsimme nopeasti unille. Sängyt ja tyynyt olivat oikein mukavat, ja lisävuode mahtui myös mukavasti huoneeseen. Hyvä ja kattava aamiainen. Ei loistelias, mutta kaikkiaan oikein hyvä hotelli. Tullaan uudelleen.

Keskivertoyöpymistä pienellä ylihinnalla

Hotelli on aika taattua Scandicia. Ihan siistit huoneet, mukava henkilökunta, hyvät pysäköintimahdollisuudet. Hinnoittelu on kuitenkin hieman ehkä yläkanttiin siihen nähden mitä sillä saa. Ainakin näin keskellä talvea ja hotellin majoituskapasiteettia ajatellen.

Yöpyminen sujui todella hyvin, huone oli juuri rempattu ja tosi siisti, sänky ja tyynyt olivat hyviä ja huoneen suuruus yllätti, aamupala hyvä ja hotellista käynti tropiclandiaan käytävää ja yhdysputkea pitkin helppo kulkuinen, vesipuistossa ikä jo näkyi varsinkin pukuhuoneissa ja saunatiloissa itse vesipuisto oli hyvä ja näin maanantai iltana tosi rauhallinen, myös aamuuinnilla oli rauhallista

Miksi huoneissa ei ole wc-harjaa. Etoo ajatus että siistijä siivoaa vessat samalla wc-harjalla.
Huone ja kylppäri siistit. Mukavaa jos kahden hengen huoneessa olisi myös toinen tuoli. Onko toisen tarkoitus istua lattialla. Aamiainen aivan loistava. Palvelu ystävällistä. 12-13.8.2024
